Recently and impeccably renovated, beautiful little cottages feature everything from cutlery to microwaves to outdoor decks and furniture.
On a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood.

Clean, cute and comfortable. Checked all my boxes. Had all the amenities! Great price for autumn on the cape.

The heat didn’t work it was very cold only 40 degrees in room

Had a blissful stay at Prince of Whales cottages. We stayed in a cottage with a queen bed and it was the perfect space for two people. Plenty of under bed storage to stow extra luggage out of the way and a cute little kitchenette ready to be used. The bathroom was a little tight but it did the job. We stayed in cottage 1 and the stand up shower knob is backwards (hot is cold, and cold is hot) took a bit to figure out why the water wasn't getting hot but once we figured it out it was good to go. Would 1000% stay again, especially during the off season. Very peaceful and had a beautiful view of the starry sky.

Please was very small, the bed wasn’t a double bed, we can hardly fit and we are small people. No coffee, no iron…

I loved the individual cottages and especially the dedicated seating areas for each one. I really enjoyed having the dog area for my dog and made the stay with her so simple. They provided beach chairs which was a great touch!

Our cottage was very clean and well kept. It was the perfect amount of space for my family of 4. The beach chairs and umbrella provided was a nice touch. The area is centrally located to everything and it suited our needs perfectly.

Nice that every unit has outdoor deck to eat outside in the summer. Great location perfect for weekend getaway

I loved the studio, the outside furniture was a bonus. Very Cozy. Will definitely return

The cottage was very clean, well maintained, and updated with modern appliances. We had an issue with our air conditioner, and called the office. Our call was returned within 15 minutes and they sent a maintenance person out immediately who remedied the issue promptly. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Good location, roomy, and clean. Mattress was too soft. Weird shaking of the cottage at times.

I really liked the unique lodging experience. The accommodations out-weigh a hotel any-day. I love that I can cook or go out to eat. Having access to an outdoor patio was a major benefit. Quiet and safe located not far from beaches. I would come back again; the experience was amazing.

Newer renovated cottages, but not vacuumed or mopped. Dirt and pet hair all over the floors. AC failed and the staff promised to fix it, but never bothered during the week long stay. Didn’t offer to move us to another cottage or property. Made for extremely humid and uncomfortable nights.

Stayed in Cabin #1. Killed two cockroaches in the kitchen the first two days. Last night, one fell from the rafters onto our bed. This morning, killed one in the bathroom. My husband also found an ant crawling in the bed. Spilled some water on the floor and wiped it up- floor was filthy. Don’t bother.

Our first time at the cottage and we loved it!! Definitely will return!
Thank you!

Cute cottages, but our air conditioning didn’t work very well and there were plenty of ants crawling around the cottage. The cottages come with a keurig but no k-cups, so our stay was nice but would much rather go for a regular hotel next stay on the cape.

The studio was extremely clean. The bathroom was minuscule. I missed a second blanket, it was quite cool at night. The outside was lacking.

We love the cottage options and the price point - very reasonable. The cottages are also very clean which is usually the number one thing we look for in a vacation rental. The property is located close to many amazing beaches and to Provincetown and Truro Vineyards.

Such a cute little spot. Check in process was easy, as was checking out. Will definitely be visiting again!

We really enjoyed our stay and the cottage was perfect for the two of us. Very convenient location, short ride to commercial street. The mattress was a bit saggy and wasn’t very comfortable. It would be good to let people know that the coffee maker is a Keurig so that they can bring their own cups. Also, there is only 1 hook on the back of the bathroom door but nowhere to hang clothes. A few extra hooks would be helpful. There was also nowhere to put recyclable items.

It was an amazing experience just wished the bathroom window had a curtain or a blind. And the room needs a place to hang your clothes.

Comfortable, clean, and well equipped cabin! But I never received the check in instruction email (I would male that clearer during booking because I didn't realize i was missing anything until I arrived), even when it was resent when I called at check in since there is no on-site staff. Thankfully the staff were quick over the phone, though seemed a bit dubious about my claims. Heater didnt work amazingly either so it was a bit chilly.

The poor review is for a sleepless night in the cold fall weather. The property managers apparently failed to double-check the heat pump function prior to our stay. My wife and I checked in late in the evening and tried calling and texting about the issue, but the reply and an electric space heater only came in the morning. No refund was issued and no reply to my plea for a week, thus the honest review. You can do better Prince of Whales!
Aside from that the tiny cabin was clean, fresh, modern and had all the essentials.

Booked the Prince of Whales for a couple of nights while visiting the Cape as part of a road trip and needed somewhere economical. It was perfectly fine, there were some lovely touches - chairs for the beach, well equipped kitchen and outside seating ‐ but the shower was a bit of a dribble and no plug in the kitchen sink. But bed was comfy, it was very clean and overall good value for money. Would stay again.

The cottage was very clean and comfy. Check in was easy with a key in lockbox, but no staff available on site was a problem when we had a problem with the TV. The issue was resolved, after reaching out online to a chatbot, and eventual referral to a person. When we returned from dinner, we found someone had entered the cottage and left us the required remote. Pictures on website led us to believe the cottage was beachside, and it was not. This was very disappointing, although we were close driving distance.

This was our second time staying at Prince of Whales and the cape did not disappoint. So close to amazing beaches and restaurants. We love how close we are to both the bay and ocean. Also so nice to have a pet friendly property our Portuguese water dog Nori was excited that she would be returning to the cape for another vacation.

Beautiful cottage. Would stay again. Service got a middle of the road rating due to there being no in person contact at check in or out. I only received my check in information at 11:57 pm the day before check in. Your website (Hotels.com) claimed I would receive it 7 days before checkin. Other than that looking forward to returning next year😌

I absolutely loved staying at Prince of Whales. It’s a super quiet location, right off of route 6. There’s a restaurant right at the top of the parking area & there are several cafes right down the road.
The full kitchen made it easy for me to bring food to prepare so that I didn’t have to eat out every night. Pots, pans, knives, plates, utensils are all included. The coffee maker takes k-cups, so make sure you don’t just bring ground coffee (like I did). The cottage is small, it’s a “tiny home”, so be aware when booking. Beautiful set up though & the bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Our first time staying at this property. We had a 2 bedroom cottage and for the most part enjoyed our stay. Detailed pros and cons below:
- Great location - convenient to Ptown and Wellfleet - a couple of minutes drive to several beaches.
- VERY CLEAN - kitchen had brand new appliances, terrific cookware and everything worked. PS - keurig coffee pot so bring pods not filters and coffee ;)
- VERY quiet - the place was pretty much booked up each night and we rarely heard anyone at all.
-Private outdoor space was lovely and helped increase the useable space which was very limited indoors
-POOR communication - Expedia reservation information said we would get check in information a week before our reservation. We called several times when we still didn't have it and were told it would be sent to us the day before. We went to bed that night without receiving it and it came in at 10PM by email - this was very anxious making and really not a great way to start a relaxing vacation.
-The cottage is VERY tiny - no counter space in the kitchen and dishes out of reach if you are short. Also no regular teaspoons
-Lighting is very bright - would be greatly helped with dimmer switches or a lamp

Reasonable price (weekdays) with good level of cleanliness and mostly updated interior and exterior cottage appearance. The bathroom gets the job done, but it is very small - knees to the wall for taller indiviudals while using the toilet and we would not advise trying 2 in the shower unless you're looking for a good laugh.
Communications and response times were delayed (days not hours), but everything worked out in the end. Aside from the cottages, the property is not overly inviting, however there is potential for the space to be more inviting if there was some investment in landscaping the property (especially in and around the communal areas). It was usually quiet and peaceful at night making sleep enjoyable. We might stay again.
