This property is a bit older, but the rooms are updated and very comfortable and clean. We will definitely make this our go to place to stay!
4.2
The room was very stuffy!
4.2
Fronk desk very nice and friendly. It was pet friendly, but it had a strong smell of dogs previously staying there.
4.2
The woman that helped me was wonderful. Friendly, helpful. Place is very old and run down, but kept very clean.
4.2
Clean and spacious rooms. They have done some updating. Some of the room amenities could be updated.
4.2
An old style motel with a big room and comfortable bed. The property is old but clean. There is a Thai restaurant basically on the property. Friendlt staff. Altogether what we expected and we had a nice stay.
4.2
Wonderful shower - room was tired but quiet and clean.
4.2
It was okay, not what I was expecting
4.2
Condition was borderline. Area a little sketchy. Darlene was very welcoming.

We are so glad we picked this hotel! We were pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was. From the outside, the motel has a standard motel look. However, inside the room was hotel quality and very clean. We wished we could have used the pool but overall the stay was excellent.
4.2
The hotel was old and needs updating badly! the room was old which made it look unclean especially the bathroom. The pull out couch was so “useful I didn’t sit on it
4.2
I was very disappointed. Facility is not really motel, it’s closer to a low rent apartment complex with trash and dog food bowls on the walkways, people sitting outside smoking and material piled front of one door. The room was old and poorly maintained. The lamp shade was soiled and torn and the coffee maker didn’t work properly. The seat material of the chair was peeling badly. Definitely not worth the price
4.2
The room was clean and the area was fine, the hotel is very dated. Bubbles under the wallpaper and the room was under furnished (needed a chair), but the only real issue was when I turned on the faucet the water came out brown for a few seconds. I used water bottles to brush my teeth during my stay. Other than that the bed was comfortable enough and the ac worked
4.2
Basic hotel to spend the night, when it says vintage, it means dated. It was clean and the people at the front desk are nice, but I wouldn't stay here for more than a night.
4.2
It was ok - would not recommend however. Not a very good area, when we pulled up there were two individuals rummaging through the trash bins.
Many guests here are long-term, have their grills set up outside their rooms.

stayed for one night. the outside is a little warn down and when I first saw it I was hesitant but for just one night would work. The room was clean and had been re-done. Bathroom was large and clean with nice counter top. Beds were comfortable so it worked well for one night. Check in was easy and clerk was friendly. There was no coffee in the lobby although there was a coffee maker, iron and hair dryer in the bathroom. There is no restaurant or morning breakfast/rolls and no close restaurants to walk to so pretty bar bones but worked.
Concerns, the outside door to the room was hard to shut and you could see light around the door but the deadbolt worked so fine. The only concern was the temperature of the hot water. It was VERY hot when you turned it all the way on. I think if I had gotten in the shower and just turned it on (the handle only went a short way from cold to maximum hot, I would have scalded myself. Same with the water in the sink when I shaved. Of course I was careful once I realized how hot it was but if I had small children and one of them turned on the water to full hot, it would not be good. In conclusion, a clean and inexpensive place to stay with the exception of the hot water.

Room wasn’t ready by 2:00 PM check in. I got there after 3:00pm and they said it would be another 40 minutes. They said they upgraded me to another room. If it was an upgrade I don’t want to see the one i was going to be in’! I didn’t stay there. Cut my loss and went to another Hotel. Will not consider ever staying there. Highly recommend you go look before you book. Pictures are misleading.

Pretty cool place. Older drive up motel. Clean. They remodeled two rooms into one. Great for the price.
4.2
The property shares rooms with long-time renters and we had a kind of noisy neighbor, but the room was clean and they replaced trash bags and towels daily, so it was a pretty good experience overall.
4.2
Clean but very dated.
4.2
The owner/operator was really friendly and helpful.
4.2
Cool place
4.2
The property could use some updating. However, it was clean and comfortable.
4.2
Old property but worth the value.
4.2
Just staying one night...close to Boot Hill Museum...older place but clean...front desk staff friendly and efficient.
4.2
The rooms were clean and functional. The site, however, is raggy and looks utterly uninviting. Also the site has weekly rentals which gives the place a different feel (and not good). All in all. It was a clean place to crash but I was glad to get out of Dodge.
4.2
The outside appearance of the hotel is really the only drawback. It has fairly poor curb appeal. However, our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean as a whistle. The street can be a bit noisy, but I can’t say it was a significant problem. The staff was very helpful and friendly - always appreciate that!
4.2
Loud, people coming in and out at all hours. Not updated at all.

Overall, our stay was satisfactory. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and Darla was very accommodating. And a refrigerator in room with microwave is always convenient and appreciated. The ice machine was broke, but Darla referred us to a close-by store where we could get a bag of ice. The hot water in our shower was inoperable, and Darla immediately gave us a key to a nearby room to use, and it was very nice. Dodge City was a little disappointing in that there were few nice places to eat, but we were able to get late reservations at the Cowboy Capital, and it was fabulous.

Checked in and the owner/clerk wanted to put us in a smoking room. Said “it hadn’t been smoked in much. Did change to standard room. Reasonably clean and bed was comfortable. Turned on the tv at bedtime and no signal… turned on the heater and it sounds fed like it was going to launch. We decided to risk being cool. Didn’t contact the office since we just had a cell phone number and I figured I’d pass it on at checkout. Office still closed at 8:20??

Close by to everything in Dodge City.

When we arrived the friendly clerk could not find my reservation. She said Expedia did not send it through, my confirmation # was not in the system and the room was booked 11 months in advance. She found the same room available and honored the Expedia rate at much reduced price. Very friendly Lady and accommodating. Ice machine was down & she gave us some ice she had just bought. Budget friendly, centrally located, but the water smells bad.
4.2
This is an older property, but the rooms have been well kept up with.
4.2
Clean, convenient and quiet for a stop.
4.2
Smelled musty.
4.2
It was very clean. Needs updated.

We were traveling and needed a place to stay for the night. The room appeared clean but there was a weird smell, especially in the bathroom. We also did not like parking behind the building. The walls seemed very thin and we were able to hear everything from traffic to people outside our room. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the greatest night of rest for us. There was not someone at the desk 24/7 so check out was a bit confusing for us as well but we figured it out.
4.2
The place was clean enough.
Convenient.
Coffee pot in room was the wrong kind for the coffee packets provided.
The one ice machine was broken.
The washing machine was broken.
We were told not to buy any of the candy in the machine.

First off. Darla might be the best lodging manager I've EVER seen! I operate a rodeo ministry, and travel extensively in the region. This was my 1st stay. I booked through Expedia, and accidentally misbooked my dates. Darla went above and beyond to hold my room the extra night that I needed. She takes personal pride on her job. If dealing with good people matters...you'll LOVE Darla.
The great reviews on Silver Spurs are legit. It's why I booked. And I hope to return many times.
The motel itself is a rarity. An actual old fashioned pull up to the room place. But its in wonderful condition for the age. Dodge City hotels are pricey on summer, which makes Silver Spurs a bargain at about half the rate of the chains. Which will be newer, but not much better.
If you're traveling through Dodge on a stopover..seeing the sights. Please go see Darla. Im legit not joking at all. Call the motel number, book the room, and experience how it USED to be done when people took personal pride in their work.
Silver Spurs is not a fancy modern chain. But it's as close to stepping back in time as possible. If you stayed in motels before the major chains took over, and miss them. You're going to have a field day!
Rooms are secure. Old motel, but key cards! My room was clean, and well kept. Go see Darla! She's the real deal Miss Kitty in Dodge. This is the way things should be! Save 70 bucks...don't call the chain...call Silver Spurs.
Thanks again for your kindness, Darla

The bed was WAY to soft for me and I didn’t sleep well but my husband thought it was fine
