Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: Port Isaac is a hidden gem in the county of Cornwall. The beautiful fishing community nestled in a steep valley, has remained largely untouched since the days of fishing, slate export, and smuggling in the preceding century. Small character homes and larger cliff-top retreats can both be found within walking distance of the village's many restaurants and shops. As the tide goes out, the sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools. The nearby beaches of Polzeath, Daymer, and Rock are only a short drive away, making it ideal for both romantic and family getaways. Parking is plentiful at the village's summit.
