Tolle Unterkunft mit einer sehr herzlichen Gastgeberin

Kelly hat jeden Morgen ein abwechslungsreiches Frühstück gezaubert. Toll fanden wir auch, dass auf dem Zimmer diverse Utensilien vorrätig waren, falls wir irgendetwas vergessen haben. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und großzügig. Zusätzlich hatten wir eine kleine Terrasse mit Zugang zu einem kleinen Pool. (Dieser ist wirklich klein, aber zum Abkühlen reicht es). Abends waren Coqui Frösche zu hören, und morgens wurden wir von Hühnern geweckt (deren Eier es zum Frühstück gab). Beide Geräusche haben uns aber nicht gestört. Für den Notfall hatte Kelly auch Gehörschutz bereit gelegt. Der Kaffee war perfekt und keine dünne Brühe. Das angebotene Internet verdiente seinen Namen. Wir hatten keine Aussetzer.

Hier etwas aufzuführen, wäre die berühmte Nadel im Heuhaufen zu suchen. In anderen Bewertungen wurde angeführt, dass die Unterkunft etwas abseits liegt. Mit einem Leihwagen ist man allerdings schnell sowohl an den Stränden als auch in Hilo oder im Nationalpark.

Super affordable and convenient stay at a lovely house with very kind owner

The house was only a little outside of Hilo and directly in the nature. In the house lovely artwork of the host. The room and the outdoors were very pleasant. We were super happy that we were able to use the washing machine (thx!). Breakfast was everyday different including great, fresh muffins.

The house could use some deep cleaning. As three rooms/parties in the house share the bathroom, it would be nice if the bathtub and bathroom floors were more (every day) cleaned. Also the kitchen looked a little dirty for our taste.

Peaceful place

Great place to stay, and very welcoming. Our host was really nice and can give you good advices. Away from cities, it's a wonderful and peacfeul place to spend your time in. The breakfast is also great, and secure. We spend the night after 2 weeks of camping and trekking/trailing so it was good to find this nice place to relax and enjoy a good night of sleep. Definitely worthy.

A truly FANTASTIC experience!

This was a fantastic stay at the property! The owner, Kelly made all possible effort to make it special - you can expect a great, heart warming welcoming and fantastic experience during your stay. It starts with small snacks, hotel size diapers like body wash or lotion etc. so you almost do not need anything for your stay until a wonderful breakfasts we have got. There is no better way to start a day but with tasty home made breakfast and coffee with freshly (daily!) made muffins! As Kelly noticed that we prefer cappuccino she brought her own coffee machine to make us one. She even has a plan to change the back garden and add jacuzzi so watch the space. Huge thanks for a great stay Kelly and see you again during our trip to Hilo!

Kelly and her home are the perfect stay with terrific value

Kelly was so adorable. She made us a warm breakfast early in the morning for no extra charge. The place is beautiful, clean, luminous and comfy. She made us feel at home. She is a charm. Soooo recommended!

Lovely, comfortable stay with a great hostess and good food

I had such a great time staying here at Kelly's place. It was lovely. I’ve been telling everyone about a great dish she made for breakfast with the eggs and cream cheese, and pineapple muffins. Kelly was great to talk to, and such a kind and hospitable person. Everything I needed for a clean, comfortable stay was here at the house. I loved it, and I would definitely stay again.

Lovely getaway in the wilderness

Kelly went above and beyond to provide us with the most delicious breakfast during our stay, spoiled us with home made muffins, ice cream and fresh brewed coffee. It's a new facility (rented out for 6 months) with everything you need, while giving you a glimpse into local life. We were lucky to have the entire house to ourselves but then house features 3 double-rooms, hence it could be the perfect place for up to 6 in people travelling.

One of the few B&Bs that actually offered a breakfast. Kelly did a great job welcoming us and making sure we were looked after. Thank you Kelly.

Big and comfortable bed, very welcoming host. We felt like staying at home. Everything was clean. Breakfast was always delicious with local fruits and good coffee.
