Le patron, Guillermo, est adorable!!! ♡

Pretty place but not really a hostel. There is no male or mix dormitories. Mostly rooms so don't expect too much interaction with other backpackers. But anyway, beautiful place in beautiful town/area!

Very well located hostel and amazingly welcoming and helpful owner. Walking distance everywhere. Common area and kitchen available for use. Spacious room.
The place has a huge potential, even if it's a basic standard, but the room we were staying in should be cleaned much better, it was doable for one night but still the cleanliness wasn't as expected

There is only about 2 main streets so the location was fine. It was just around the corner from the main drag. That being said the view was of some auto business.
Although the staff had a card indicating he booked tours, he spoke no English. He waved a general direction to where we could exchange money and really didn't seem to want to carry our bags. Struggling up the stairs with bags he suddenly said perhaps we would be better on the floor we were standing on. We had to get someone to get the hot water going in our room.

Close to bus station. Close to restaurants. Staff let me take bigger room because a friend joined me. Only charged a bit more.
All good.

The hospitality and the friendliness at Hostel Quintonido were beyond my expectation. Wilson, the owner of this hostel, was very kind, and the room was clean. We, including Wilson’s family, have enjoyed talking about Dominican and Japanese cultures and history based on our different backgrounds, although I can speak only little Spanish. I was fortunate to stay at this place on Dec 31, and Wilson and his family invited me and other guests to his New Years Eve family dinner. Next day on Jan 1, I visited Constanza with his family together for a day. It makes sense that this place is very popular with super high rating in booking.com. The host suggested me to return back to his hostel in the future, and I am indeed willing to stay there again in the near future!

Amazing staff, very hospitable, right in the center of town (get used to the sound of the motos). They are very kind and will help you with anything you need in and around Jarabacoa.
It is a very nice place considering the price, the interior somewhat rustic, which I did not mind. Cleanliness should be more emphasized, though.

The people there was so helpful and lovely. They also helped me organize tours (rafting, hiking...) with the nicest people around. All in all, Jarabacoa and this place have a shiny warm soul. Loved it.
