I had been to Dunkirk before and I wanted a view no matter the weather and so I booked a room overseeing the beach for my 3-day vacation getaway with my son. It was not cheap but worth it to wake up to the view, sleep with the sound of the waves and beautiful sunsets. At the very start of the boardwalk, you will find plenty of restaurants. While the hotel had a restaurant, we did not try it or the amenities because the weather was beautiful and we wanted to spend time at the beach, the water was cool but not cold at 18C with plenty of people enjoying it. Our room was just above the boardwalk and there wasn’t much noise and stopped at a reasonable time. This is a great beach - very long and walkable even at a high tide. I would recommend this hotel and Malo les Bains beach!

Lovely sea side location with endless boardwalks in both directions. Staff all so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet great. Downstairs bar inviting. Zero complaints.

Lovely overnight stop on drive back to Scotland. Very relaxing even though the hotel was very busy. Didn’t have time to use the spa (& justify the charge) but did eat in the restaurant. Ltd choice for vegetarians & nothing for vegans but quality food & lovely staff. Car park was full but we had booked so they squeezed us in. Great access to the beach.

Good hotel on beach, unfortunately bad weather so couldn’t go on beach. No parking at hotel, had to pre book and wasn’t aware. Rudely ask to leave car park and find somewhere else to park on road.

Facilities are. new and modern. On the beach with a great view. Enjoyed the breakfast although choice not huge, but definitely good quality and nice service. Only spent a brief weekend. Pool part of the room from 7-10 and 20:00 - 22:00, otherwise you need to pay for Spa entrance. Dunkerque nice but shall not return - tick in the box.

The property is on the beach side very quite area nice place to walk along the beach

Great location on beach with sea view and balcony from room. Room quiet and comfortable with nice bed and shower. Hotel let down by petty extra charges and unfriendly staff. An example were the car park charges of 15eur per day, and despite description saying "free parking with 676ft" receptionist not at all helpful in explaining where this was, said go and find somewhere yourself around the hotel.

May travel partner of 51 years and I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu in Dunkirk. We were just there for one night but it was the best hotel out of stays that also included Caen and Amsterdam. Great rooms and right on the beach. Walked down the beach concourse for dinner - sort of reminded us of Manhattan Beach, CA. We would definitely stay there again!

What a waste.
Amazing historical location and next door neighbour to the great 'Museum Dunkerque 1940 Operation Dynamo' on the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Forces during May and June of 1940. By the 2nd night of our stay, we were desperately hoping for an evacuation ourselves.
In short, service was an absolute nightmare. Staff was mostly friendly or at least they sometimes smiled, but it seemed as if only few of them had an idea about what they were actually doing/were supposed to do and all clearly indicated that they wished to be somewhere else than at work.
We booked a suite with a balcony for two adults and two children. When we checked in the suite was only prepared for two guests. It took four visits to the reception to get things in order.
The restaurant apparently have to be booked 2-3 lightyears in advance otherwise you won't get a table! And if you arrive close to the closing time at lunch, good luck getting anything but a furrowed brow when you ask for a table.
Lobby bar, you really shouldn't go if you are already thirsty! I don't know if they had to pick-up cold tonic water in Calais or Nairobi, but service took forever. We witnessed several guests ordering in high spirits, but leaving in despair before they were even served.
And finally, dogs seemed more welcome than children. Children are only allowed at the pool during odd hours, but it is okay to travel the breakfast buffet with a Chihuahua on your arm. Funny how that works.

New Hotel, locations is perfect and quiet.
The swimming pool is available for free between 7-10 am and in the evening hours. The rest of the day you have to pay for it but out anyway.
Breakfast is good value. The Restaurant looks super nice and the staff is friendly. It just takes a bit of time before you get served. Might be because its new or understaffed. The prices might be a bit steep for what you get.
The rooms are nice, beds are good and the sea view is magnificient and quiet.
You can park your car outside the hotel for free or inside at cost but was fully booked.
Overall a nice stay, staff was friendly and kindfull

There's nothing to dislike about this hotel, even the standard rooms are a decent size and extremely well maintained (admittedly it is a new build). Very good value for money.

lovlely possition.
Room heating a challenge.
Telephone light flashing all night.
Mini bar small water 4 euros.
Room snacks expensive.
Terriace unfinished, tiles loose and need grouting.
Prominard lights ruin view at dusk and forces curtains to be closed over night. Poor soundproofing, scraping chairs and dog barking all night from next room. This was an executive room. 160 euroes a night. patio door can be opened from outside with a basic allen key and access can be gained from the other terraces.
