About this apartment rental
If you’re looking for a central base from which to explore Athens’ most historic sights, this stylish apartment in the city’s charming Koukaki neighbourhood is an ideal choice.
Modern and bright, it offers a design-led decor and ample natural light thanks to its pair of balconies accessed via the living room and bedrooms. Take your pick of these outdoor spots on which to enjoy your morning coffee or celebratory glass of Ouzo, or kick back in the ochre and black living area after a long day of sightseeing.
The two bedrooms have been curated with a keen eye for detail, from their striking blue and yellow colour palettes to their beautifully dressed beds. And with a luxurious rainfall shower to wake up to each morning, a relaxing start to any day is all but guaranteed.
When it comes to exploring, stroll around your neighbourhood packed with indie art galleries, international eateries and funky coffee shops or make a beeline for the famous Acropolis, a fourteen-minute walk away. You’re also a fifteen-minute stroll from both the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Philopappos Monument, while Monastiraki Square is twenty-four minutes away on foot.
Home truths:
*There's a lift in the building to reach the apartment on the third floor *The second bedroom faces the street outside so may be more prone to noise *The main bedroom's king-size bed can be prepared as two singles on request *There's a laptop-friendly workspace *The building's entrance is shared with the other residents *Mosquito nets are provided *You'll receive a printed guide about the local area *Please keep noise levels to a minimum between 1 pm and 5 pm, as well as between 10 pm and 7 am *Self-check-in is available *Free street parking is available, but we recommend skipping the car and using Athens' public transport instead – the nearest Metro station is an eight-minute walk away
