The house was great. Size was perfect for the 5 of us. Lots of little extras. Having laundry was awesome. The walk-in entrance to the State Park was right outside our front door. The kids loved that. It seems kind of funny Burger King is in the front yard, but the kids loved it. They could walk over and get food when they wanted to. We were there for baseball, so all the other families stayed at a place within walking distance of us. We got rained out one day, and there was plenty to do at the house. Would absolutely stay there again.

The house was very nice, everything we could've needed was provided. Good location, quiet. My only disclaimer is there is another house being built on the property right now. We had workers walking around the yard 3 of 4 mornings when enjoying coffee on the patio and last morning involved a 7am concrete pour. Once construction is done, I'm sure things will be more peaceful but this was definitely an issue I wish I had known about. Since it's temporary, I still gave 5 stars but wasn't thrilled about this part or the communication on this. That said, the rest of our stay was very nice. Post-construction, this house will be 5 stars for sure!

My wife and I completely enjoyed our stay. The house looked exactly like the pictures. It was right in the middle of everything. The pasties were great! We look forward to our next stay in Cadillac!

Cabin is convenient to the beaches and within walking distance to local eatery's and next to the State Park. Enjoyed the modern features and the back patio. Felt like home away from home. I suggest owner install smart lock so guest's don't have to worry about losing door keys and a storm door to eliminate gap under entrance door.

This was an awesome find. Perfect size for my husband and I to stay while we visited my son and daughter-in-law. It was our first time to Cadillac. The unit was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It was nice to walk through the campground to the lake. We plan on returning yearly, and this will definitely be our go to spot!

The cabin is clean and comfortable and located right next to Mitchell state park and in between lake mitchell and lake Cadillac. Pasty shop next door and burger king right in front. Place is in a peaceful spot even though businesses are very close. We would definitely stay again! Thank you

Perfect location for our group of four to stay and head over to Caberfae for a few days of skiing. We had two ten year olds and two dads that went on the trip and it was great for us - more then enough room to relax after a day on the slopes and everything we needed to prep meals. Will look at again next winter!

We’ve been hitting the slopes at Caberfae with guys from the old Downriver Detroit neighborhood every year since 1988. This year, a few of us and our sons stayed in a place that even our wives would love. Very clean, heated floors, plenty of amenities and two complimentary pasties from the family-run business next door. It’s a perfect Up North trip for all!

This home was perfect for a ski trip to Caberfae (20 min away). It was very clean and comfortable. Love the heated floors! The host responded very quickly to a concern about ice on the sidewalk. We would stay there again.

We needed a new tradition with our adult college age children. We decided to get away for a couple nights, ski a little, play games, and eat food. This rental was the perfect place. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. Clean every surface was clean with no dust, dirt or hair to be found. Comfortable plenty of room to unpack, cupboards had ample dishes, pans, and even some storage bags to put away leftovers. We ate most of our meals at the cottage and we had everything we needed, even a pizza cutter. Beds were comfortable. Couch and chairs were great. Cozy the heated floors felt great on cold ski feet and how do you get any better than a cozy fireplace?!? We will definitely stay here again.

The place was very clean and maintained. Loved the coffee and supplies for it. Plenty of room for the two of us. The second bedroom looked to be comfortable for three preteens. We enjoyed the area and its surroundings. Having the owner nearby was a plus.

The property was very convenient, close to town. The instructions were clear and concise, everything was clean. Everyone had a comfortable sleep. Full kitchen was very convenient. We had an overall wonderful time, would definitely recommend this property

This house was very clean and was set up well for short or extended stays! We were comfortable as a couple, but the kids room was set up so cute we are keeping this property in mind for the whole family. Close to the lakes and stores, quiet, and homey. I would definitely stay here again!

It was clean, well stocked with what we needed to cook meals, wash our clothes, and we were overwhelmed that there was laundry soap and everything we needed all we had to buy was our food. We were there on business and gone all day, the cottage was a great place to end our day. I would stay there again should the occasion arise. The host did a great job.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay - the house was almost new, super clean, and well appointed with everything we needed. Josh was great to work with, and we would definitely hope to book there again. Great parking for our bass boat and trailer - and nice location for area lakes!

We were so lucky to find this little gem at the last minute. The house is all new construction inside and out, tastefully decorated and fully furnished with extra towels and wash cloths, coffee and fully stocked kitchen. The place was clean, beds were comfortable and we felt safe. Easy communication with property manager. Be sure and check out Clam Lake Beer Company downtown and Mr Foissie, next door, for the best pasty in town. Great location; within walking distance from both lakes, gas stations, restaurants and a great produce and plant store across the street. We ❤️ Cadillac and our stay here made it super enjoyable.

We had family staying at the state park campground directly adjacent to this home. We stayed in this house because we have a child in a wheelchair and this place is accessible at entry and an open floor plan. Very convenient, so wish VRBO would better advertise homes that can meet the needs of special needs families.the house was well stocked, clean and will definitely look to stay here again, thank you!

We were very happy with our stay. The house is very well kept and well stocked. The location is great with many food and activities nearby. The property manager was very responsive. The booking/check in process was very easy. We take yearly trips to Cadillac and will definitely try to book again. Also, the complimentary pasties were very yummy!

A lovely stay! Very new home. Stocked with everything we needed! Very clean. King size bed in one of the rooms was SO comfy! Patio with table and chairs. Washer/ dryer. Natural light. 2 free pasty from the restaurant by the owner next door. Great stay. Great value. Low fees. We would love to come stay again!

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding getaway in Cadillac and the bridal party got ready here the morning of. We loved the fireplace, yard, and brightness of the home. The house was clean and exactly what we were looking for. The property manager was responsive, accomodating and we appreciate the kindness for last-minute changes. The only thing we wouldnt rate 5 stars is the location, as it was a bit hard to find and seemed like it was in a BK parking lot, and the construction on the campsite next door was loud and woke us up. But the site offered delicious complimentary pasties from Foisies Pasties next door and we certainly took advantage when we came and for the pastries in the morning.

We used to live in Cadillac and needed a place to stay for our friends birthday. This spot is conveniently located next to my boyfriends favorite pizza place (BC Pizza) on the west side of town. The home is very clean and everything is new. The pictures don’t do it justice. I would love to stay there this summer if available. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking in the area
