Great house to stay at for our trip to the U.S. senior open

Was in the area with my son to celebrate is 16th birthday. We wandered all around the island catching concerts, great food, and of course a mansion tour. Close enough to Newport, but away from the crowds (Classic Car Weekend).
Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Very basic cottage. No frills, but very clean and well organized. Had everything we needed for a homebase over the weekend.

We did exactly what we wanted. We went into newport for a day.
Walked around toured around the beach front. We got to enjoying the atmosphere of the pretty quaint town we stayed in.

AC is only a floor model. Not enough to cool the house and 2 bedrooms. We couldn’t sleep because we were too hot all night long, both nights.
4.0 / 5.0
The cottage was clean and cozy inside. The outside needs some work with peeling paint and rotten wood. Many of the lights didn't work. The property was not that close to Newport (25-minute drive) and was a bit expensive for what it was. We had a great weekend, but the value wasn't there for this location at this time of year.
