This luxury lodge is nestled high on a mountain right in the heart of Gatlinburg and is an ideal location to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! For the adventurous who enjoy hiking, the Park is easily accessible by a short 0.5 mile hike up a nearby old logging road! By car, the park is just 2.5 miles from the lodge.
Gatlinburg is a great place to visit for adventure seekers or relaxed visitors alike. Start your morning by taking in the fresh mountain air and the fabulous mountain views with a fresh cup of coffee in hand from one of our three spacious decks. During the day go hiking on the nearby trails, picnicking next to the streams, shopping the crafts trails.....end your days relaxing while watching the sunset from one of our 18 rocking chairs or two porch swings or from the relaxing comfort of the seven person hot tub or the huge 12-person party hot tub or from one of the eight Adirondack chairs while relaxing around the fire pit - the choice is yours!
Later in the evening, you can enjoy some star gazing from your seat around the fire pit in our outdoor living area on Level 3 or you can enjoy a movie or the big game in the theater room on the big screen TV with the awesome surround sound system while relaxing in the tiered seating of the luxury leather recliners. The kids (and adults too) are sure to enjoy a game of pool on the regulation size 8 ft pool table and its companion 10 ft shuffleboard table. There's also a multi-arcade cocktail table which includes 60 of the top arcade games from the 80's including Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Mario Brothers and many more which could keep you busy for hours on end!
Undoubtedly, there may be someone in the group who will want to fire up the X-Box One gaming system and play someone in a game at Vista Lodge or someone back home via the internet. For those who like card games, board games and puzzles, there is a gaming table in the Level 2 game room.
Vista Lodge can easily accommodate 24 people with inside dining for 26+ and outside dining for 14+. The Lodge is situated just minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg in one direction and the Rocky Top Sports World complex in the other direction. Attractions like Dollywood, Dixie Stampede and The Island are just a few minutes further away in Pigeon Forge.
With the Great Smoky Mountains National Park being right next door, bear sightings occur regularly at Vista Lodge. Seeing the bears in person is an awesome experience and we encourage our guests to enjoy our mountain "neighbors". However, as the National Park Service reminds us, even though seeing a bear is a truly exciting event, it is important to remember that bears in national parks are wild and can be dangerous. Their behavior is sometimes unpredictable. While we encourage our guests to enjoy viewing the bears, it is important to keep your distance and not surprise the bears. Everyone will be able to go home happy that way!

We throughly enjoyed our trip and this beautiful property. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean and well stocked. There were so many things to do inside the home. The movie theater was enjoyed by everyone. Communication with the owners was excellent! I would highly recommend this vacation rental.

This property exceeding all of our expectations. The views were amazing. This house is perfect for a large group. It is fully stocked with everything you may need. The owners were quick to respond with any questions we had. We say bears almost daily, which we really enjoyed...we got so excited each time the bears visited. We will book this house in a heartbeat if/when we return. The host were so kind...truly amazing people who we had an opportunity to meet! Can't wait to return in the near future.

The property was perfect for our group and the bedrooms were spread out so that you had privacy. Absolutely loved the layout with the different levels and functions on each. Your party could be all together or find some quiet time from the group. You really didn’t need to leave the property if you didn’t want too. I am afraid of heights so I let my husband drive up and down from the house. I would definitely stay again and recommend to any friends.

This is such a beautiful property and in a great location. We especially loved having equivalent rooms for all the adults - and all with king beds! The bunk room and sixth room with two queens were perfect for the kids. This is by far the best equipped kitchen I have ever had in a rental and there were so many things to do right here - an electronic game console, billiards, TWO hot tubs, superb outdoor furniture with views to match, and a shuffle board table. The managers were very responsive for the few questions we had and everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend and we are planning to come back!

If you’re looking for a cabin for your entire family, pick this one! The location is perfect. The views are beautiful! The layout is great with bedrooms on each level. The kitchen is beyond fantastic with a huge professional size refrigerator that will hold it all! The best part of this cabin are the numerous bear that we saw. One strolled near as we were checking in and unloading and we saw several on the drive up. We watched a bear from the balcony, saw a coyote and a bobcat. This cabin was decorated for our Christmas celebration with adult kids and grandkids. It was perfect! Book your stay here.

We stayed with a large family of 21 people. There was more than enough space for all. The views were incredible! The fact that we saw bear multiple times per day was one of our family’s greatest memory. It is also located close to town and many activities.

Overall we enjoyed everything about the house. We utilize literally every part of the house form the kitchen to the hot tub. We spent each night enjoying different things the house had to offer and enjoyed all of it! Our favorite part was we each had our own bathrooms and extras! We also seen bears almost everyday! By far one of our favorite vacations!

My group enjoyed the spacious rooms and extras amenities this home had to offer. We loved spending time out on the deck taking in the beautiful view. We did have a few maintenance issues that were resovled quickly and easily with minimal impact to our stay.

This was one of the nicest vacation homes we've stayed in and it could tell it was obviously designed for a rental in the layout. Plenty of room for the kids and adults for group get together or alone time.
The home came with a pack n play for our under 2 year old but we purchased a baby gate to guard the stairs.
We saw bears almost daily and a timber rattlesnake on the edge of driveway so keep pets and kids away from the outside brush

This home was amazing and just what we needed. Beautifully decorated and well stocked. Three huge decks with amazing views! We saw bear daily. Bedrooms all have comfortable beds, tvs and private bathrooms

My friends and I (17 of us) had a blast at this house. It was far enough from downtown where it had awesome views but close enough for us to get cab rides to the bar scene for one night out. We had a hybrid trip planned that included hiking in the smokies, hanging at the house (to take advantage of the party hot tub and fire pit), and one bar night out. This served as the perfect launching pad for that.
The house was clean, spacious, and the three decks were huge with incredible views (we even watched a couple of bear cubs climb a tree while the mom kept watch at the bottom from the safety of our deck - bring binoculars!). We had enough bedrooms/bed spaces for 17 of us without using two of the pull out beds.
The owners were very easy to work with and the check in / check out processes were a breeze.

We will absolutely stay here again. The views were amazing and the home was even better. We could honestly spend our entire trip just at the house. It was very clean and had lots of amenities.
Everyone had their own space and the multiple decks were a plus.
The road leading up to the house has a few scary (narrow) spots that make it incredibly challenging to drive up at night or in the rain. If you’re not used to narrow roads like that, it can make you a bit nervous. That’s honestly my only concern.
Owners were helpful and quick to respond to the few questions I had.

We had the best time at this house. We had a big group staying together and everyone could spread out and enjoy their own space while the common spaces and dinner table were large enough to accommodate us all. Loved that the kitchen had kids plates and cups and lots of cookware and utensils- most rental places do not. It had everything! And the view was perfect. We saw 9 bears outside of the home (safely) which was an amazing experience. The only downside is the drive up to the house is a bit of a nail biter but it was worth it!

We had a great time. Only issue was with the AC. Couldn’t get the cabin to cool down below 78 degrees. Could have been the weather change. Was 40 degrees when we arrived and 80 by the time we left. Didn’t communicate the issue until the last day. Beautiful cabin only 2 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. Family had a great time. Would visit again. Thanks.

Lynn's cabin was absolutely amazing and the hosts were incredibly accommodating! They went out of their way to help prepare the cabin for my large family and our children. The cabin is also conveniently located right outside of the Gatlinburg strip and a quick hop over to the National Park. The amenities in the home were amazing and made out stay that much more comfortable, between the ample amounts of towels, cleaning products, TVs, entertainment, and lounge spaces everyone was happy. I cannot recommend this house enough!

We had a fabulous time during Thanksgiving trip when I had sisters from London and Vancouver and my daughter’s family from LA. The cabin was big enough for all of us. Kitchen was well equipped and the dining table was huge so our party of fourteen managed perfectly to sit together for meals. The Mountain View was excellent.
