Photos are very accurate in terms of the interior which was clean and spacious. The neighborhood was very run down and didn’t feel very safe. The hot tub was functional but needed to be maintained a bit (chemicals)

Great location, and very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub after rafting. This is just minutes away from the train depot and downtown Bryson city. Will definitely stay here again.

The online description of the house overlookg the river from the front porch sounded inviting.
But the view fromt the porch was of three or four trailers and maybe beyond sometall w eeds there was a river but we couldn't see it.
Everything ele was fine.

Explored the area parks and Bryson City. Tubing and hiking were fun. Just wish we had more time. Our place was plenty big and very nice. Thanks to our host.

We enjoyed our stay very close to everything

Home is an older home but not in a bad way. More in a nostalgic way. We loved it. I love the wooden floors and the doors that separate the kitchen from the living room. Wish the fireplace was in use but other than that we loved having coffee on the porch and smelling the cool mountain air. We will stay again in the future!

The interior of the house is dated but, clean. I noticed that a few other reviews stated that the home was not clean. We did not find that to be the case. It could use an overhaul of interior updates however, it was a clean place to lay our heads take a shower. Although we didn’t cook most of the necessities seemed to be there. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star on all categories is the fact that you can walk to Bryson city at your own risk. There are no sidewalks and to no fault of the property owner vehicles fly up and down that road so we didn’t chance it. The neighborhood made me a little skeptical at first but it is very quiet and seemed perfectly safe. Overall it was a good stay.

Super close to downtown. Property manager answered questions quickly and was really nice. Really convenient for anyone staying for the Polar Express train. Perfect place for a small family to stay. Loved the covered hot tub porch!

Nice place to stay in small town. Less crowded than Gatlinburg. Short drive to Great Smoky Mountains sothern entrance.

Wonderful birthday weekend and the property owner remembered it was my birthday and sent me a message. That was so thoughtful!

Multiple issues with this property and the host. The place was not clean as there was hair in the bed sheets. I changed the sheets and got sheets out of the dryer which we were told were clean, but they also had multiple hairs on them. Also dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived, wifi not working, and ac not working, even when we were told it was fixed it still was not working (the owner claimed it was on a timer, it was broken). When we booked this place, there was no question or place for me to select that I was bringing a pet. I looked all over the website and under fees and nothing was mentioned. Now it looks like that has been updated, but the way the owner went about trying to collect money for a pet when we were already there was very unprofessional and abrasive. I would not have minded at all paying a pet fee had it been listed before, but it was never mentioned when I booked it and felt attacked by the way it was being asked. Don't stick others with a charge that was never originally mentioned especially when there was no way of selecting it when booking. The place was not listed as advertised, the kayak that was listed to be used was very old and dirty as well. The owner did allow for an early check in which was nice, and I had no problem with her needing to get some things in the house, but later on complained about me not feeling well and needing to lay down in a bed room despite being told I could come. Also lacked many basics in the kitchen like spatulas

Close to downtown Bryson and the train station which was definitely worthwhile. We had a great time and the house was cozy.

Awesome location and adorable home. Everything as advertised.

Cozy and clean. The host was fantastic. She was super nice and helpful with the questions I had. 5 stars. I would recommend.

The interior of the house was clean. The outside was not. I don't think i would have used the hot tub. The neighborhood was less than ideal. Loud traffic and people walking up and down the road all hours of the night. You can walk to town but there are no sidewalks and traffic. While we had no problems it's not enjoyable walking into town.

My wife recently lost her dad to cancer, then almost immediately after, her mom found out she had cancer also. After battling cancer for a year, her mom is now cancer free. Needless to say, after a few rough years, we decided it was time for a short vacation, and in a way, a celebration. We brought her mom along with us and the three of us and our fur baby had the most wonderful time. We were pleased with the condition of the house. Everything worked as it should with no problems at all and my wife and mother-in-law kept commenting on how cute it was. Everything we needed was stocked and ready to go. We chose to drive into town, but you could definitely walk it in a couple of minutes. I had a small mix-up with the reservation that was completely my fault. Susan responded quickly and was more than happy to help get things sorted. We would absolutely recommend this listing to anyone wanting to visit Bryson City.

It was very beautiful and so close to downtown.

My husband and I took his parents to Bryson City to ride the train and this property was perfect for us! Easy walk to downtown, very clean, easy check in and out process. We had no issues! Bedding and linens were very nice. we enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings and the property managers even provided bug spray! Whole place was well stocked. Would definitely stay here again!

The house had all the necessities PLUS a hot tub. Driveway is a little awkward, but nice and private once you are in. Enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I spent three nights here to celebrate our anniversary. The house was clean and had plenty of room for the two of us. We loved having the coffee maker and supplies available to get us moving in the mornings; we spent a good amount of time on the back deck enjoying the bird chatter and cool breezes. The close proximity to town as well as to the Deep Creek area of GSMNP and to NOC made this a wonderfully relaxing weekend.

My sisters and I were in town for the train ride. The house is in a very convenient location close to the downtown area and train ride. Susan is a wonderful host!! She responded quickly and was very helpful. I highly recommend this adorable house.

Property was clean, well appointed, great location (by downtown) and economical. Property manager was very good with communications. Great place to stay.

Had a good stay! Would stay again. A little smaller than expected but enough space for our family.
4.6
The house we stayed in was very cozy and had all the amenities we needed to make for a comfortable stay. We were really surprised and grateful for the easy access to downtown! We had a great stay and plan to return soon!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for opening you cute little clean home to us

Cute house close to downtown and train station. We enjoyed our stay. We were comfortable and place was well stocked. We went on Polar Express, visited the The Road to Nowhere, went tout fishing at Darnell Farms, and enjoyed downtown Bryson City. Only thing I would make people aware is the multiple cameras outside. It seemed like one was pointing at hot tub. A little weird. Definitely not a deal breaker though. Kids and adults loved the foosball table. Can’t beat the location.
4.6
A fantastic stay. House has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was a great way to warm up after a cold day exploring the area. Great communication with the owner. Convenient to town. Would highly recommend.
4.6
The home was lovely, with excellent amenities. Very clean! Bryson City downtown area less than 1/4 mile away with lots of attractions. We’ll definitely stay again!
4.6
Our stay was short but sweet... the only comment I'd like to add is there was an odor in the house, possibly cat and dog odor.
4.6
We really enjoyed our stay! There was a slight issue at check-in but the property owner and property manager got in handled quickly and it didn’t affect our stay at all. The house is older but has been well appointed and is comfortable. You couldn’t ask for a much better location for its proximity to Bryson City’s downtown. It’s easily walkable
4.6
This house is close to town and owners have really gone overboard in turning an otherwise non-descript looking house into a very nice facility. They have renovated an older house extremely well and decorated/furnished it with a lot of thought.
4.6
Nice stay. Would recommend to others.
