About this house rental
Best of both worlds! Minutes walk from both the lively Downtown Mall and foodie-heaven Belmont neighborhood. Cozy 2 bdrm, 1 bth suite in historic home with private entrance & porch, plus contactless checkin. Perfectly situated for wine/brewery tours, concerts at the Pavilion (you can literally see it from your living room), exploring the Downtown Mall, or visiting Monticello & Carter's Mountain. Dozens of restaurants within walking distance. Perfect for a couple or small family!
Home includes private parking off street, plus private entry and porch. The interior has 2 bedrooms and a combined kitchenette-living space. Sofa in living room can be converted to bed for extra sleeping space. Bar top table in living room doubles as work space with extra USBs and outlets. Smart TV includes access to all your favorite apps. You won't want to cook with so many restaurants within walking distance! But the kitchenette is stocked with everything you need - full fridge; Keurig with coffee pods, sugar, and cream; toaster; glasses, mugs, silverware, dinnerware.
What makes this place so great is the location! You've got the best of both worlds - Belmont and Downtown Charlottesville - and you're perfectly situated between the two neighborhoods.
The lively Downtown Mall is lined with local shops, restaurants, and businesses. The Pavilion, a popular concert and event venue, sits on one end of the Mall and is within view from your living room.
The historic Belmont neighborhood, one of the oldest in the city, is home to our favorite restaurants. Perfect for strolling and looking at the historic homes. Most restaurants in Belmont are only open for dinner, and reservations are highly recommended.
Open Table and Resy are popular apps for getting reservations locally.
Our area is super walkable! It's one of the things we love most. But, everything in Charlottesville is fairly close (no more than a 15-20 minute drive). You can be on the Route 29 corridor in ten minutes drive. Headed to UVA campus? You're just minutes walk to a free trolley station, or the drive is about 12 minutes. Biking is also very popular in Charlottesville and we're right beside a cute community bike shop.

The unit was small but it was just perfect for my friend and I. The beds slept well and we enjoyed relaxing in the deck chairs. The location was close to everything we had planned to do and see. The host was very responsive to my questions.

We had a great experience staying the night at this cute and cozy spot. We would definitely stay again!

The location is great. The place is super clean and an awesome use of a small space. It’s well decorated and taken care of. Beds were not as comfortable as some people had said and you def hear traffic going by at all times. It is not peaceful BUT it’s perfect if you want to be close to great places to eat and drink. Would def stay again for a quick getaway.

It was a brief visit in Charlottesville, and this conveniently located spot provided a place for us to land, recoup, and rally for a quick tour of Monticello and downtown. Perfect!

This property was exceptionally clean, and the bedrooms were both lovely. If you are a person with any kind of mobility issues, just know that there are stairs to get in and out, as well as steps up and steps down within the apartment in and out of reach room. Beds are queen size and comfortable. There is no stove, just a hot plate in the kitchen. Tiny living/common area. Good for a quick overnight stay, worked great for me while I was in town overnight as a single person. However lots of construction in the area so lots of early morning noise. I think that'll go away with time. But wonderful owners, easy to communicate with.

Stayed here with another couple just for an overnight. Tiny and adorable place. Perfect for our needs as we didn’t do any meals and walked to the mall area full of shops and restaurants for both dinner and breakfast next morning. Beds very comfortable! Super easy checkin and out.

Very cozy! Bed was great.

This place is just as pictured and described with comfy beds and linens! Perfect for a weekend stay with our granddaughter and a Monticello visit! It was extremely hot in Charlottesville, but the air worked well, and they even had extra fans if needed. Good communication from the host.

Great location and an easy walk to The Downtown Mall (it was very hot so we drove but it is just over the bridge) and the great restaurants in Baldwin (the neighborhood this VRBO is located). It is also an easy drive to Wegman’s and all the stores at 5th St. Station via Avon Ave.

Although the unit is small, it has all you could ask for. Check-in was seamless, place was clean, and Jason was incredibly responsive. It’s a short walk (done w/2 yr old) to heart of downtown Charlottesville.

This location was prime! So close to everything. Easy access in and out and great to have parking! Would reccommend

This precious property was perfect for the 2-day stay for our family of 3. The first evening, we walked to a recommended restaurant, The Local, and were extremely pleased with the food and service. I appreciated the crosswalk right on the corner that actually stopped traffic for us to cross. We thoroughly enjoyed Monticello and local wineries and orchards! The house was cozy, clean, and full of unique details (my husband especially appreciated the Salt n Pepa shakers). We took full advantage of the Kurig and the hot plate. It seemed like the hosts thought of everything including hairdryer, night light, and Wi-Fi tv for us to log in to our streaming services (even though we didn’t have much time for tv). Thanks for your thoughtfulness!

We stopped in Charlottesville on our way to Ashville. What a beautiful spot to visit. Wish we had more than 1 night but our vacation was waiting in NC.
Beautiful spot to stay and highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at Jason's place for a couple days, and could not have been happier with the accommodations and communication with the owners. The place was comfortable and clean with everything you'll need during your stay, even a hair dryer along with QR codes throughout for instructions to TV, coffee maker, and lights. The parking spot is conveniently located just outside the private entrance with deck/chairs, and we were within walking distance to the downtown mall. Would def recommend and stay again.
