Abigail was very responsive.
We really enjoyed the cozy home.

We had a wonderful stay here.
The house was warm and comfortable and clean.
The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery, there was a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The beds were comfortable.
The bathrooms were clean; each person had one bath towel and one hand towel, so you may want to bring more towels.
Apart from the kitchen, the house was carpeted throughout.
There is room in the car port for one car but not a lot of parking outside.
The house is right by the sea and esplanade for easy walking.
It's a fifteen minute drive to Belfast and even closer to the Titanic Museum.
We also drove to Dublin, which is just over one hundred miles away.
Lots to do and see, loads of wonderful restaurants too.
I would definitely like to stay here again.
Thank you Abigail

We came to Ireland as a family of 4 with our adult children (ages 23 and 27). We were attracted to this house because of the pictures and size. We definitely wanted 3 beds/2 bath. Upon arrival for our 5 night stay, we were not greeted or contacted. I had to request the pin for the lock the day before because it was never sent when they received their final payment back in Aug. The morning of day 2, my kids both took lukewarm(at best) showers because the element was gone in their bathroom. We had to leave right at 7 am to catch a tour. I emailed the property manager that evening when we returned. She came the next morning and tried to get a plumber but unfortunately the plumber could not come until the day we checked out. Rosemary told my husband and while he wasn't happy with this, he said ok...what else was he supposed to say? So we had to share a bathroom with our kids for the remaining stay. I am wondering how the cleaning staff didn't notice this after the last people stayed there, which brings into question how well the house was cleaned. The ventilation was so poor and was especially bad after 4 showers that no one could use the mirror to get ready. The description says that there is hotel quality bedding, but none of the beds were provided a top sheet. Also brings into question the sanitary conditions of the beds because we wondered if the duvets are then changed between each renter, other wise you are sleeping with the same duvet next to your skin. I sent an email to the property manager the day before we left and asked for financial compensation/reimbursement of a portion of our stay. They didn't respond until after I sent a second email and they responded with my husband didn't mind that the plumbing didn't work and we didn't contact them until the second night of our stay and proceeded to offer 50 pounds towards our next stay. When I emailed back they went silent and didn't respond. The offer of 50 pounds off was unacceptable to us because we may never have the opportunity to go back and if we did we wouldn't stay there. Also an easy out for them knowing most people don't return. We left the cottage in immaculate condition and followed all of their rules ( we took pictures before we left just to cover ourselves because no one came at arrival or departure). We have yet to receive the deposit back, we left 5 days ago and we aren't really sure when that happens since the communication is poor. Rent with caution.

Beautiful gardens, lovely home and very comfortable beds. A very warm welcome by John who lived next door and who we regret not being able to spend more time with. Four days were simply not enough..It served as a great base for touring and a delight to return to after every day of exploring the sites of Belfast and the spectacular coastlines and surrounding countryside.
We highly recommend this wonderful home away from home and we-sent a glowing letter to Abigail sharing our delight with what was our all too short stay.
