Good stay in the center of Carbondale

Staff were very friendly, and our stay at the hotel was pleasant and enjoyable. Room was clean, and the bed was comfy. The hotel's location in the center of Carbondale was exactly what we were looking for. Hotel breakfast and general facilities were great.

The room was on the smaller side, with the queen bed not being long enough. There was some noise from the train running through the city next to the hotel. Room lighting was a bit annoying, with each light having to be turned on separately with no master switch. Minor things that wouldn't keep me from staying at the hotel again.

The hotel was clean but over crowded.

The hotel was not following ADA law and allowing guests without placards to park in disabled parking and told me they couldn’t be ticketed on private property which is not true according to the law. Cars were parked all over the place.

thebooking.com experience was awful. Received communication from booking.com hotel didn’t have the same information had to reconcile everything directly with them because your system did not communicate properly with their system was told that two rooms would be side-by-side through your system. Their system did not have that information they didn’t even have the ability to find the two rooms. It was an awful experience.

Great place to stay!

It was very clean and the staff were great. I requested extra towels and were in my hands within minutes. Would definitely book with them again.

I wish they offered king-size beds.

buyer beware I would not recommend this place to my enemies!

it was nice that it was close to Southern Illinois for a college tour.

it was absolutely shameful that the new person named Eric at the desk was fantastic and got me another room while his manager Andrea Smith never came out to apologize for the blood and urine and hair on the bed in the first room or the hair on the bed in the second room and in the bathroom.

my overall stay was good!

the facility is very nice and modern! The rooms are nice! The staff that does the breakfast in the morning, awesome! very customer friendly and thoughtful! breakfast was good as well.

the bed doesn’t have a quality mattress on it but it worked for the night.

complete waste of a perfectly good holiday.

the room looked great, the breakfast might have been ok if we had stayed….or it could have been covered in mouse feces.

Our room was covered in mouse feces. all over the nightstand, the couch, the end table. it was disgusting. the toilet rocked on the floor, and the sink in the bathroom didn’t drain properly. Got a refund and headed home. new years weekend is ruined.

I love almost everything about this hotel. It is clean, comfortable, modern, spacious, accommodating - love it.

Having more vegan options at breakfast would be nice :)
