A lovely old building with lots of history.
Nothing

Loved the history of the local area. Lady, apologies, I don't know her name, who has been at The Old King's Arms for over 20 years gave us lots of history and things to see and do locally.
Nothing.

Friendly staff , nice breakfast
The kitchen area of the room left dirty on our arrival, and the bathroom sealant was mouldy. The shower tray was dirty , bedroom beds rubbish underneath. Can be noisy nightlife for younger families and very steep stairs.

From checking in to checking out staff were very attentive, especially the lady at breakfast. The breakfast itself was really nice (full english) proper sausages. It's on a really nice street with different restaurants and shops. Parking was 1 minute walk over the road and very cheap. The room we was in was small and cozy. Decor was calming.

Motorcycle revving up outside the room not hotels fault but not nice. Shower didn't get hot and room was not cleaned during 3 day stay

The property was old and full of character. Great value for money and close to Harry Potter Studio.
not quite close enough to get to central London without a bit of cost

Super breakfasts with a lovely hostess. Cozy room in the chilly spring weather.
Our room window couldn't close so the street was rather noisy. But we enjoyed the pub quiz and music.

Great location, breakfast and staff. The room was comfortable, clean and warm too.
The bathroom could do with a bit of love, but perfectly functional.

Very old building with character. Room I stayed in had large shower cubicle with powerful shower.
Small bedroom but more than adequate for over night stay.

It's the old town which was lovely nice pub
Room was small and no frills so if you like that this is your place to stay
4.5
Friendly helpful staff, good sized room. Excellent breakfast.
Although the shower was good, the water continued to run when switched off. A plumber had been called. We were very lucky with handy on street parking, but I'd imagine this could be a problem sometimes.

nice central location adjacent to a fantastic park to walk the dog - amazing staff
and exceptional in accommodating my celiacs disease and the dog.
the disability access room that mum and I stayed in should have had some sort of seat in the wet room and sometimes the water was not hot. over the weekend our room was not serviced.

good location
The door to breakfast room was locked in the morning despite it being after 8:30. Although I was the only guest for breakfast I had to leave after 20 minutes waiting as had to get my car so didn’t eat. Shame, as staff seemed pleasant. Seems a long time to cook an egg with no other orders.
