Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen im Restaurant war gut .

Das Hotel ist sehr renovierungsbedürftig . Wahrscheinlich wurde es seit Jahrzehnten nicht renoviert . Besonders schlecht ist das Badezimmer . Wer den 60er Jahre-Style liebt, ist hier richtig . Die Sessel in der Lobby haben Löcher. Auf den Tischen im Restaurant/ Lokal steht noch die Blumendeko längst vergangener Zeit. Direkt vorm Hotel ist eine Strasse und eine Eisenbahnlinie . Die Lärmbelastung hebt leider der schöne Blick auf den Thunersee nicht auf .

Wir kommen wieder

Sehr gutes und preiswertes Hotel. Wir sind nur für eine Nacht geblieben und wir mussten grundsätzlich nur ein Bett zum schlafen haben. Das Hotel hat diesen Zeck absolut erfüllt. Die Seesicht ist wunderschön. Die Badezimmer sind ein wenig ins Alter gekommen. Erfüllen ihren Zeck aber absolut. Das Licht beim Bett ist kalt, spielt aber keine Rolle. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Preis Leistung stimmt. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Outdated style, but the views are very nice if you have a lake view room & don't mind trains/cars!

The views from the balcony were beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was good.

The room was very outdated, and it was quite loud with the train and cars passing by right in front of the hotel. The trade off is that you have the beautiful lake views though. There was no A/C, so luckily it cooled down at night that the room temp was okay, but I imagine in the summer it must be super stuffy in there. If you're tall the end of the bed would be painful as the mattress is set a bit lower than the bed frame.

Majestic view

The lake view was outstanding.. like dreams. Also staff were very friendly.

There is only one bus that takes you to interlaken, if you miss it you need to wait an hour for the next one. No other way to go to interlaken. Also they charged extra tax that wasn’t mentioned before. But still, I had a great time there.

Room without ventilation at all, no qir conditioning too, in the summer you cannot open window because of loaud trains every 15 min going through your head . There wasn’t air to breath in the room on the roof floor.

Clean good hotel, nice location very bad disturbing staff.

They’re clean

The staff didn’t respond with us very good when we have questions about the hotel and prices and when we try to understand by ask a question or 2 they respond angrily and say that they don’t have time for us!! It’s weird really weird.

Would definitely stay again!!!

loved that it was in a quiet little town not touristy at all. very quiet and a beautiful view of the lake. We sat out on our deck in the evenings and enjoyed watching the sunset and would walk down to the lake and sit. The breakfast was delicious and we ate one dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious also.

Amazing family run hotel with beautiful lake views, would recommend

Amazing friendly staff. A good breakfast spread with views of the lake. Some rooms with breathtaking views of the lake. The location was good with a beautiful church opposite with a small water pier. Very friendly small village feel with a short bus ride to either Spiez or Interlaken. Rooms were nice and warm even with poor weather outside.

Rooms were pretty dated with the wallpaper and flooring coming off in the bathrooms. Bathrooms felt dark and could use some more light. Got backpain after a while on the beds, would recommend some better mattresses. Would like to have some more basic facilities like hair dryer and kettle. Rooms are not soundproof, one night didn't get much sleep as some other guests checked in late and were very loud. Bus frequency is pretty poor with 1 every HR and no train connectivity so need to plan in advance. Note: this is not a modern hotel with any modern fittings so don't go for it if you want something super clean and modern.

Exceptional

The location was perfect with a great view to the lake. It was quite and peaceful . The hotel staff especially the hotel manager Lisa were all so friendly , easygoing and helpful . Highly recommended .

If you are tall , make sure the edge of the bed is not high , otherwise your sleep won't be comfortable. I had this experience the first night and next day they were kind enough to change the room for me .

I would gladly come back! Everything was great. The view, the stuff - the nature!

It was a very cozy, small and clean place. Very peaceful feeling.

Lovely stay outside of Interlaken

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We loved being right on the lake and also so close to the main bus to get around.

The bathrooms are a bit old and not ventilated very well so there is a bit of a mouldy smell. However the bathrooms and room were very clean.

Unbelievable views and a huge balcony made this a great stop over. Well located for Grindelwald and Interlaken. Good Parking available.

The room was too hot, only one small fan was embedded. You could NOT open the windows at night otherwise the room would be full of 100+ mosquitoes and flies. Dirty sheets
