Clean well appointed home.
The only thing they could improve on would be to have a split system in the main area to provide better heating.

The Schoolhouse was the most disappointing accommodation I have stayed at in my three months in Australia. The location was OK - a 17 minute walk to the main part of time; the house itself is very pretty from the outside; the garden is large and well kept.
But the house is not well-maintained. It looks like a student party-house and when you look in the recycling this is confirmed with, literally, a rubbish can full of empty bottles. The carpets are stained everywhere. There has been so little attention to details that one expects in average accommodation. There was only a bed in each of the bedroomss - no bedside tables, no side lamps, not one surface on which to place anything, or even a chair. Only 2 coat hangers. The only light in the main bedroom was a bare electric bulb in the middle of the room. The bathroom door didn't even close, let alone lock. The bathtub was cracked and dirty - supplies of soaps, shampoo, conditioner, etc. were miniscule. The kitchen was well-equipped though but it all felt a bit "soiled"! There is a record player with a bluetooth speaker but the speaker did not have a battery so it was unusable. I have photos if you care!
