The most central location you can imagine, and in a historic building. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms.
Other guests get up early and their doors slam loudly in the echo-y corridors, so it's impossible to sleep in.

I liked specially history of building and its atmosphere.
Big hallways and stone floors with noisy guests around midnight are noisy compinaton.

Old monastery, but thoughtfully renovated and very well organized as a hotel!
Everything was well!

Great location
Very historic building.
Bedroom clean but shower and towels dirty. Evidence of pubic hair.
Loud at night - it is an old building

Breakfast was lovely and the location is fantastic - I will be back
A little more space in room (but given it’s an old monetary this may not be possible)

I loved the historical factor of the hospederia. The staff was amazingly helpful.
I would have loved to have a historical tour of the property with knowledge of various rooms and features.

Great location by the cathedral and very clean!
The bathroom/shower was a little small for the price, if I'm being nit-picky.

At the end of a Camino, it is so very meaningful to stay in this Monastery of old. This is my third stay and so peaceful, allowing a beautiful place to quietly reflect after the Camino. Beds comfortable and rooms spacious, minimalistic but just right.

Staff was great, especially the front desk. The gardens were a nice touch.
The pillows were very thin making for an uncomfortable sleep. The luggage hold is at the entrance door so you have to walk back 100+ meters to claim your luggage. They should tell you that as you walk in. If you have a car you can not access the area after 10:30am and you have a long rocky path to load the car after then. The restaurant service sucked. It took over 1.5 hours for a limited menu of the day meal (only 2 selections) to be served. Our waiter continually forgot us. We were literally the next to last out of the restaurant even though we arrived somewhat early on.

Small, basic room with comfortable beds - staff very pleasant and the experience was good. We stayed at the end of our camino, and this historic old building is a must for any pilgrim arriving in Santiago, if you can get a booking. A bit over-priced, but that is normal for this historic city and worth it for the visit.

Location, location, location! Very cool building and wonderful staff.
A bit expensive for very basic accommodations.
