Big room, old interior, free candies and Coffee. Free parking even after checking out.
Mold in the bathroom, broken shower drain, unclear sign for visitors coming in late hours,

Lovely hotel and a great breakfast. Just a short walk into the main town area.

Simple family run hotel with clean rooms, nice garden and breakfast included. IN an old building not to for away from the stations and close to the city centre
Beds were'nt really queensize

We had a very big room which was nice. Breakfast was very good.
One of the employees in the breakfast room was rather rude. The hotel has seen better days but it is kept very clean.

Breakfast was excellent.
Cleanliness was great. Helpful staff.

Very pleasant staff, location is good.
The facilities are a bit outdated, and could be updated. The rooms are high, which is nice, but the decoration/finish is dark. Beds (separate) are not firm.

Clran. Comfy and good location.

Large room. Very comfortable bed. Easy car parking.. Good shower and nice bathroom, newly refurbished. Very convenient location.
Room was tired. Could do with updating.

Location
The room was located in a separate block to the rear of the hotel - maybe built sometime after the original hotel.
The rooms were tiny and looked like something from a young-offenders institution. Really drab, white-washed brick walls and out-dated furnishing.

Excellent location, very friendly staff. The town was very interesting to walk round.
It was very cold when I was there. Room was a bit cold.

noise, didn’t sleep a wink. Screaming, deranged guest was finally removed by police! at 6.30am.

Facilities were excellent, staff helpful and approachable. location was good for walking to a variety of areas.
as I am mobility impaired to a degree, maybe a rail at the entrance stairs would be worth investing in.

It's an historic hotel in a nice location, but a bit tired. The breakfast was very good. Free parking on-site was very useful, and the staff were freindly and helpful.
The room was a bit small, so was the bed. Generally needed a bit of renovation. This would have been more acceptable at lower price, but the room rate was higher than we paid at a better hotel in Amsterdam.

The bedroom was nice. I was in the separate building in the back. The tv didn't work, however. I liked that there was free parking for hotel guests. That's a plus. Also, it's in a great area, just a hop across the water to old city.
I wished the tv worked, and the shower in room was sub-par. Everything else was great though.

location, breakfast, room
parking - not enough spaces for all patrons. had to park 10 minutes walk away unless you left car on road and paid. a couple of spaces were not easy to park large car in.

Great atmosphere, family maintained.
6.0
The property is close to the center, very convenient parking. The building is old and interesting, with a lot of paintings and archaic artifacts. The staff were friendly.
Even though smoking in the hotel is not allowed, the common areas smell of cigarettes so much that we could feel it in our room. The hotel is not dirty per se but it doesn’t feel very clean either - for example, the chairs and the couch in the room had stains on them and didn’t look well maintained which is a pity because otherwise they did have some character.
