extremely helpful and friendly staff, charming decor and very clean room, excellent breakfast

Overall we really enjoyed Hotel Chalet at Tarine. All staff were lovely and could not have been more helpful. Dinner in the evening on Half Board, was excellent and there was a good selection of reasonably priced wine available too. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well run. Breakfast was also very good, although when the hotel was busier, the room was a little tight to get around. We very much appreciated being able to buy our ski passes from Madame and walk to the lift to access Plan Peisey, although this is an uphill walk on the way back!
Our room was very small and our bathroom even smaller. The shower cubicle was about as small as I can ever remember!

Lovely family run hotel. Celine is really helpful and speaks perfect English. Half board option good value with varied and excellent food.
Cellar bar a little lacking in character.
4.5
The location, the food quality and the attentiveness of everyone from the owners to the staff. We were extremely grateful to Celine, owner of the hotel, for helping us get back to the hotel after we missed the lift down the mountain. Thank you for making our vacation and stay so delightful.
The room was small. We should have got a bigger room.

Good facilities, great breakfast and very helpful staff. good use of space and storage room.
Ski room needed better lighting, but that is not essential….

Rooms are small! You can hear your neighbors through the walls.

Breakfast was a great continental selection with plenty of choice.

Amazing value for money. The staff was very friendly and always there to help with whatever inquiry. The Lozange ski lift takes yuo right to the Vanoise express and was open till 17:30 which allowed us to visit Les Arcs and La Plagne easily and extensively. Overall I strongly recommend this accommodation.
The shower head in our room had a bit of a tendency to loosen and fall off. While this was a bit annoying it was far from a real issue for us.

Smiley staff, price, location
When I removed the blanket on the bed in the room, I saw hair and a few human hairs on the sheet. as if it hadn't been cleaned after the previous customer

Parfait! Stayed there for a one day break on my GR5 hike. Exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended!

Great location and friendly staff despite limited interaction due to social distancing. Kindly provided us with a better room as the hotel was not busy. Very thoughtful.
Parking is not allocated. It was ok at this time of year but could be problematic in peak season.
4.5
Staff very friendly and helpful, good ski and boot room with easy access from the street. Lively bar where you could order a pizza and a lounge where you read a book in a quiet atmosphere.
Room was smaller than expected, breakfast was limited
a little more variety would be nice for example more choice, cheese meat yoghurt etc.
