Proximity to where we needed to be and value for money in England. Kitchen was also really nice
Unfortunately the bed is terrible.. you feel the springs stick into your back and the mattress sinks right to the base of the bed frame. The oven was also not cleaned so when we used it for the first time, smoke from old food cane out and set of the smoke alarm

It was clean and comfortable
The check in process - I was left standing on the front door unable to access the property!

The property was super easy to find and very close for the station which is good. I could also see on the map it was also pretty close to supermarkets and stuff. Pretty clean and great value for money.
The property was relatively clean, however, the mattress had been flipped and the part that was now on the underside had soooooooooo many stains on it. Stains that looked like blood or some type of dye maybe. Should really be changed. There was also a dead bug on the door frame. Everything else was basically spotless and you could tell the bed sheets were freshly washed.

We were using public transport (bus and train) and found the apartment was an easy 10-minute walk to both rail station and main bus stops. The apartment was one of the quietest places we have stayed in which made for a great night's sleep. Overall, it was great value for money for a short-stay (four nights)
Everything we expected was there. Not having wi-fi available at the apartment was a minor difficulty (overcome by a free connection in a pub) and the kitchen could do with a few extras, such as food serving spoons, a frying pan, or a pizza cutter.

Clean. Near the train station. Did not have landlord poping in and out like some I know. Reasonable location. Lots of places for leisure walks and lovely local and walking distance village centre for your organic and nice small cafe/food. Very friendly
Maybe have a broom in the studio

We liked many things; off road parking in private car park, self catering with everything you need and the dining table all laid out. Also, the host had excellent communication and was extremely helpful.
For the price it was very good and would happily stay again.
A local resident suggest a parking space for Midland Road Studio as other residents had designated parking spaces. (See photo as to where to park)
My only comment would be the approvement of the pillows. They were quite flat so take your own if you like 2 pillows each.

Compact, but fully furnished, kitchen had everything you need: adequate storage, easy access, private parking, relatively quiet. Cheap and good location, aldi just round the corner.
Very noisy floor/ceiling. The other occupants wouldn't stop moving till 2am the first night, only 1 towel, no toiletries.

nothing not to like much better than any hotel rooms

The location was perfect for me - a 7 minute walk to the theatre where I was working. The private parking was very useful. The shower was lovely too.
The immediate issue was the smell - there was a horrible smell everywhere that i couldn't identify. I think maybe it came from the bathroom, but I couldn't tell. It lasted the whole week, so I had to buy a diffuser to help mask it, which I've left there. Maybe it was the drains or the building materials used in the shower, which i think is new?
The neighbours above are very loud. They don't seem to have inside voices, and aren't very good at walking with consideration for those staying below them.
There was no control of when the heating came on. There are only very basic kitchen utensils (no cutting knives or anything like that). The kitchen floor is a good 7 inches higher than the rest of the place, but the door frame doesn't reflect that, so I bashed my head multiple times leaving the kitchen. There is no wifi. The toilet roll is the cheap commercial stuff that you get in service stations.
I always feel bad when leaving negative reviews because the owner was very nice, but I have to be honest.

This budget accommodation represents excellent value for money. The bed was comfortable. it was good to have a small kitchen and a table to eat at.
Parking is a problem. if you are a light sleeper be prepared to be woken up at 5 as cars park directly outside. It would benefit from a comfy chair to sit on and more than one towel.

The kitchen was compact but packed in a microwave, oven, hob, sink, kettle, & toaster.
The apartment is on the ground floor at the back of the building so free from traffic noise
There is parking available scant steps from the door if required, but I didn't use this except to be dropped off one evening. The apartment is close to the town center - about half a mile, and ten minutes walk from the bus stops and shops.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the room warm too
Signs of a previous occupant including short, curly hair in the shower...
