The host was so kind to us, our ferry from Greece was cancelled and our replacement took us to Ancona instead of Venice, the extra 3 1/2 hour drive meant we arrived late at night. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating to us with helping us settle in so late at night!

Since it was rainy and we were traveling with motorbike, we were extremly pleased because the room was warm, as well the bathroom.
The bad was a little less comfortable.

The Fotos on booking do not correspond with the reality. A very disappointing experience. A very unwelcoming owner on top of it. On the website it says that the restaurant is open on weekends, we arrived on Sunday late afternoon and the restaurant was full of people. Our question whether we can eat in the restaurant was answered with „the restaurant is closed „. Overall a quite unpleasant stay. The walls between the rooms are very thin, you literally hear every move your neighbors make….

They accepted our circumstances. We are thankful.
Photos on the site must be very old. We were expecting more friendly place. And you must have a car to get there.

Bed was pretty comfortable and the curtains kept out the light effectively so we slept soundly. We got two rooms - 1 for myself and my husband and another for my father-in-law; it was good value for 2 rooms compared with what we would have had to pay in Venice. The breakfast had nice selection of baked goods/sweets.
The rooms were very dark with very limited natural light and the inside lights were also dim - two disadvantageous factors for me working remote. The desk and chair were also not best suited for extended working/sitting hours. The room and especially the bathroom are dated and could use refresh. The breakfast could have used little more savory options - cold cuts, cheeses.

What a beautiful place! We arrived on a sunday afternoon while sunday lunch was in full swing and it smelt absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure how we managed it but we turned up at the wrong entrance at first but a friendly gentleman on a bicycle came out and led us to the front of the property 🤣. Very friendly and helpful hosts, clean and pretty room (we were in room 3, San Marco) that was cleaned every day. Large ensuite bathroom with hairdryer, air con and a TV. Plenty of free parking, Breakfast was also beautiful. Plenty of outside space to sit and relax in the evening. Close to shops and restaurants while being set back in the country. Would definitely go back!
Not really a dislike but if you're short like me then the metal frame around the bed makes it a little difficult to get in and out of it.

We spend one night in Villa Mocenigo. We came late night around 2am and Francesco was very kind to provide detailed guidelines how to find the place and check in via whats app. I am extremely happy that we chooce Villa Mocenigo and got so attentive service.
I was on workation here so it was also convenient that this place offer later check out than other places.
In addition tasty breakfast were served: many various cakes, nice cappucino, eggs, fruits, cheese, salami.
It was really convenient place to stay on the way to Venice, Bologna, Parma.
Thank you for nice experience!

The breakfast was wonderful! I was expecting a "Continental" -- but there was a large spread with homemade fruit tarts (usually at least 2 different kinds), amazing croissants, quiche, along with the hardboiled eggs, meat, cheese, rolls, bread, juices etc, and as much cappuccino and American coffee as you wanted.
The owner and his wife also ran a restaurant in the evening with some of the best fresh Italian food I have ever tasted. It wasn't fancy food; it was fresh and delicious.
We also enjoyed visiting the farm animals. And there was a very comfortable courtyard and patio to sit on morning and evenings. I was in the Veneto to do research, so we would leave after breakfast and not return till 7 PM, but I found myself wishing I could simply sit there and read in the shade for hours.
The wifi was more challenging from our particular room, but that is common in many places.

Despite of the fashionable agro-thing the accommodation is far too basic. The announced room size included the toilet/shower. The rooms were converted from horse stall cabins. So, this agrotourism leaves you mostly with a farm's o'dor and numerous nice wild cats around. The hosts are kind and assistive. The North Italian breakfast inherited mainly the Austrian Empire"s sweets and cake dishes. The nice thing is that you can drive to the Venezia-Mestre, buy the city transport card there (from 1 to 7 days, inc. boats), leave your car at a cheap day parking (5.50 a day) and then take a 5 min bus ride to Venice and enjoy it as much as you can.

Dinner was delicious.

Quiet and nice surrounding. Nice atmosphere in garden with many places to seat and enjoy. Clean rooms, comfortable beds.
One room with broken airconditioner, another equipment to replace it was the same - producing only warm air (39 centigrades outsider so IT was hard to sleep). Some of sofas and armchairs in garden broken.

Nice place in nature
A lot of moisture my computer had problems with keyboard because of it but I guess that's common problem in Venice

Great location for visiting Venice. Ten minutes by car to the nearest train station and then another 20 minutes by train to the city centre. Francesco is a great host and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the villa. Dinner was all home made and delicious. They also catered for my son's gluten allergy by serving gluten-free options. Thanks for a great stay!
While we can recommend the place, you should be aware that the rooms are quite small.
