Charming hotel will not disappoint

Charming place, with excellent Restaurant on the property — Suburb dinner, and breakfast was delightful on shaded patio setting with lovely ambience. Within site of the town church, lovely bells ringing on the hour. Location in the city is excellent for walking to everything. Some noise at night from nearby nightclubs — summer partying in full swing. Staff was very helpful at all times.

Room was small, noise in the area from nightclubs (didn’t wake up, but when waking up naturally at 3 am the clubs were still going strong). But it was all still very charming and comfortable.

This place is a gem! And so are it’s staff!

Utterly charming place located close to all the shopping, restaurants, the port and the beautiful beaches. No car necessary for all this once you’re at the hotel. We stayed in recently renovated room overlooking the garden on the ground floor. Spacious, clean and quiet. Fantastic shower with great pressure, and tiny floor tiles so no chance of slipping. The staff could not be more helpful. Very accommodating to everything. We stayed a week and wished it could have been longer!

Nice and extremely well located

The staff was super nice and helpful, one of them even drove us to a nearby beach cause "taxies are too expensive" and was just so so nice with us. The reception ladies were all so smiley and flexible. I really loved the staff.

A great home base for a fun tour of Calvi.

The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and available. The restaurant was one of our favorite experiences in Calvi.

The shower glass was hard to keep from leaking.

Great location, no kettle in room. Helpful receptionist.

Great location. The receptionist was very helpful, and friendly, much more than some of the other staff. The young waiters were keen and efficient at their job. The garden / restaurant area is lovely.

As I am gluten free I tend not to eat breakfast, bringing my own cereal (and a special tea I like). There was no kettle in the room and I wanted hot water for the tea... this was possible but I got the impression afterwards that staff were not particularly happy about it. It felt like it was difficult to sit outside and have your own tea but maybe I'm odd for wanting that! It's not helped by the fact that my room didn't have an area outside to sit in which isn't part of the restaurant. I appreciate this isn't a self-catering establishment but it was the only hotel I've stayed in in corsica without a kettle in the room, and that includes a very superior hotel in Ajaccio.

TODAYS LUXURY WITH OLD WORD CHARM

beautiful accommodation delicious breakfast sadly missed having dinner there the night we picked to have dinner was staff's night off we had a4 night stay there was nothing that could be faulted the staff are very helpful and friendly would not hesitate to stay a week or a fortnight here location has to be 10

a bit hard and expensive to park a car as free parking is unattainable you have to park at the Citadel 17 euro/day

Charming and comfortable!

Situation and garden. Excellent chambermaid service. Bathroom was outstanding.

Instructions advising what we thought was an a heater but was actually also an air conditioner. Thanks to our chambermaid Charming snd enjoyablw! she realised what was going on and sorted us out! Thanks to her!

The Magnolia is a charming hotel with original features. It's located centrally in the old town.

Beautiful decor

I loved my room. It was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom shone - it looked brand new - and was very well set up. I felt very welcome, and was allowed to access my room at midday after a brilliant train journey to Calvi. The location is perfect for train travellers, about 5 minutes from the station and 5 minutes from the main tourist areas. I was disappointed that Le Magnolia Restaurant wasn’t open during my off-season visit, but the area abounds in good places to eat. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.
