Palazzo storico bellissimo.
Camera molto grande con letto molto confortevole e bagno perfetto, tutto nuovo.
Famiglia molto accogliente e raffinatissima. Ottima colazione con i dolci fatti in casa. Fantastico salotto con camino maestuoso e una bellissima colezione di libri d’arte, perfetti per approfondire le visite ai luoghi d’arte di Mantova!
L’illuminazione della camera, un pò buia.

Claudio is the most generous, knowledgable, friendly and congenial host I've encountered in my travels. He went above and beyond to arrange a private historic library visit in another city (on a day it was closed)! Do not hesitate to book a room here. From the host's warm welcome and hospitality throughout my 1 day stay to the decadent cheese, sweet pastries & cakes, cafe, tea fruit, and ham breakfast to the well-stocked art, history, architecture bookshelves for curiosity feasting in the living room salon to the original Renaissance ceiling frescos in the grand hall enterance to the spacious antique decorated bedroom & bathroom, you feel like you're time traveling- mingling the present moment with 15th century Italian Renaissance. It's on a quiet side street a few blocks walking distance from all the city center sights and only 20 minutes between both famous Palazzos. Mantova was by far my favorite city to visit- away from the maddening Venice, Milan, Rome, Florence tourist crowds, with world class art collections in Palazzo Te and Ducale, mouth watering gelato, al fresco dining, etc.

Arrivabene is the B&B of my dreams, kind hosts in a beautiful family home which combines history with modern comfort and a terrific location in the heart of a lovely small town.
No negatives, Arrivabene is a dream B&B.

Historic Palazzo preserves 18th century architecture, frescoes, comfortable furnishings and respite after busy sight-seeing in Mantua. Convenient walk to historic center.
Nothing. Quiet despite central location

Right from the start, Claudio gave us great instructions, helpful and responsive. The Palazzo is an amazing building and as our host, he couldn't have been more knowledgeable about the city and what we should see and do. On our first night he rang around and found us a fantastic place for dinner at really short notice. We were made to feel so welcome and breakfast was always relaxed and friendly with great conversation.
The whole stay was just perfect for us!

This a great place and Claudio is a wonderful and kind man.

Claudio Bini is a kind and competent host who makes you feel welcome in his fabulous home. Over a delicious breakfast he introduces guests (a maximum of six, I believe) to each other and offers advice on what to see and do in Mantova. He seems to know everybody.
The Palazzo Arrivabene is easily the most elegant place we have stayed in for many years.

Amazing public space, a lovely room, and a terrific bathroom, along with charming hosts made for a wonderful stay.
Be prepared to lug your bags up 2flights of stairs. (We expect that in Italy, but I’m just noting that as a possible negative for the elderly or frail.)

We have stayed here before. The property is truly beautiful, the room is enormous and very comfortable, decorated with true Italian elegance in the traditional style. The breakfast is lovely, held in the dining room of the palazzo with lovely place settings and equally lovely food. The family is charming and gracious…it can not be a better place to stay!

This B&B is an elegant historical palazzo. My room and bathroom were huge and well maintained. The hosts were both very cordial and provided a beautiful formal table for breakfast with all types of choices, including some local one for me to try. I had to catch a train earlier than breakfast the last day, and they volunteered to have something ready for me. I expected maybe a coffee & croissant, but instead, a large assortment was ready for me. It is located just a couple of blocks from the group of piazzas for dinner and an easy walk to everything. About a 7 minute walk to the train station.

It was literally palacial.
Wonderful hosts. Wonderful breakfast. Wonderful interiors. So grand. Such a pleasure.
Nothing, really. All was good.
Be aware there are stairs and no lift. Fine for us, but just so you know.

The wonderful breakfast.
I have no complaints at all.

A truly special place. Stunning entryway. Lovely sophisticated hosts. Very nice welcome. Large sunny room. Close to historic center.
There are some stairs to climb to get to room, but they are marble, wide and beautiful.

Location is excellent. The breakfast was wonderfully good. So much thoughtfulness, from day to day.
A serious downside: you can’t pay by credit card. To be told to use IBAN or Switch was a serious inconvenience. In the end, I paid by cash, it you need to run about finding ATMs.

The palazzo is very beautiful with really spacious rooms and bathrooms. The property is easy to reach from the city centre. The breakfast was great.

This old building was so great!
It was really nice to have breakfast, where you can talk with Claudio whos home this is.

The property is exceptional, a large marble staircase leads up to the reception rooms which are very high, frescoed, filled with antique furniture and paintings. Breakfast is taken in a beautiful large dining room; it is very good with a rich choice, some excellent home made food as well. The hosts are very lovely and helpful. The property is in easy walking reach of the city centre and all its treasures. Car parking is available 5minutes nearby in a public car park.
There was nothing we didn't like. The Palazzo is one of the stays we will not forget.
