Room was clean and spacious for the requirements. The layout of the hotel is quite good with open verandahs between buildings. The use of the courtesy bus provided great opportunities to explore further.
The open sections between floors allowed for noise to travel easily. Whilst some staff were excellent I found that the level of service provided did not meet expectations in other areas. Understanding the need to cover costs as a non-alcohol drinker the 500% markup on soft drinks is extremely over the top. (SGD$10.00 for a can of soft drink). This would make it very expensive for families with children. The grounds of the hotel appears to be dated and this may be as a result of the new construction being undertaken adjacent to the hotel.

I stayed over at Sofitel Sentosa from 1st - 2nd June 2024 with my partner and toddler. I arrived around 2pm to register for check in but was informed that the room wasnt ready until 3pm, so we went to have our lunch. The registration process took almost 25 minutes (bear in mind that i have already paid upfront at an earlier date), however the staff at the check in counter was so incompetent and slow and she (name was Christine if i recall right) seemed like she wasnt confident at her job. At 3pm, i was told that my room still wasnt ready and there was a long queue at check in, not suprising since mine took over 25 minutes earlier! I asked her if my room was ready, she said no and asked me to speak with another person at the lobby. He apologized and mentioned that it was full house the prior day (not an excuse at all). I had to wait another 30 minutes just to get my room key, and i had a young toddler with me that was already very uncomfortable at that point given that we were there earlier. It was a horrible experience and although they did give a later checkout the next day after i demanded for it, i dont think its a level of service that a luxury hotel should provide its customers. Their check in process is really bad during peak times and they should hire more competent staff to do this job. The room also seemed rush and they forgot to put in laundry/trash bags, toothbrush and tea bags. I definitely will not return for another stay here at Sofitel given their service has declined so bad since we last came in 2022. Not recommended at all
Same as per above

Nice tropical feeling, aesthetically good, big pool
Extortionately expensive, uncomfortable bed, lack of reasonable food options
3.8
The outdoor feel.
The furnishing is a bit old and there’s no baby pool area for the kids to play.

餐食很好。环境也很好。

Hôtel agréable / pedifish sympa / belle piscine
Hôtel vieillissant qui mériterait des rénovations.
Wifi qui ne fonctionne pas bien du tout même à la réception…

Very happy with the bedroom. We booked a luxury garden room as it had a bath and a separate shower. Breakfast was not included in our room rate - this was a little pricey to pay for separately each day, especially if you eat very little for breakfast. May be a better option to purchase in advance when first booking. We found the staff in the hotel to be exceptional and very friendly.
It would have been nice to have a terrace onto the garden but realised that this is probably impractical in Singapore due to the heat and humidity.

We enjoyed the short stay in Sentosa when friends visited us. The hotel restaurants were nice as was the location -- not far from Sentosa Cove (a 5-minute drive away).
They are remodeling the area of the hotel that leads to the spa so you have to take a shuttle instead of walking (well you could walk, but that means walking on a road that doesn't have a sidewalk most of the way). The shuttle is convenient; however, the hotel isn't as nice with the construction site (this is temporary so I'm sure it will be better once finished). We also didn't enjoy the overcrowded pool and there was no kids pool available for families with young kids. The spa also doesn't allow children to use their pools so the spa facilities were useless for us as we like to spend time with our child.

Family Suite was spacious and well kept. The kids had a gala time at the swimming pool. We also booked a kids retreat package which included some engaging activities on mermaid swimming, survival skills and hand/face painting. In room dining service and breakfast options were good. Bathroom was comfortable and stocked up with a good mix of toiletries. Staff was very polite, friendly and attended to all our requests promptly.
The only downside was limited food choices at the restaurants in the resort. However there was a convenient workaround - a shuttle service to Harbourfront! There could potentially be more activities at the resort however I do understand that this may not be possible due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Very good selection
Nothing!

location
there was a baby bat inside our doorway in the room and my daughter got bit by mesquitos in the hotel room.

We went there to celebrate our twins birthday, they had a cake ready in the room, it was nice. Our family enjoyed our stay ❤️ And the malay manager who attended to us at the restaurant was very nice to give a slice of cake for our twins, also the Moroccan waiter gave us Morocco tea and is very friendly. Sorry we didn't catch your name but u guys are amazing!
The food could be better in my opinion, the selection was wide and we had a lot of options, just that some days, it doesn't taste as the other days.

Location, architecture, design, Sentosa
The rooms are quite dated and smell for mould. The check in took painfully long: 2 staff for a cue of 6 people. One reason for the painful check in are the many questions and the paper work to be processed - disturbing in digital times! They also got the booking.com booking wrong and wanted to charge us for dinner when it was half board. This came up even after retiring home when they called again and said they would have to charge for dinner. They finally accepted that their system was wrong. Annoying for a so called 5-star!

It was a tranquil and peaceful location. It rained the first day, but we were able to enjoy the open seating and bar area, sheltered from the rain.
Our original room, luxury double with balcony and garden view was very poor, so much that we complained and got upgraded. The balcony was breaking up and the garden view was of a three metre high grass bank and two big trees very close to the opening door. No view at all!
The choice of food for dinner in the main restaurant was poor. I ordered the rendang burger. When it came the fries and burger were cold. I only tied the fries and sent it back to the kitchen. When it returned I found out the burger was cold. How can this happen. I got a fresh meal, but really, for a luxury hotel this isn't good enough.

My first staycation at Sofitel Sentosa has been wonderful. As the resort is situated at the quieter part of Sentosa, it is away from the busy RWS. So, there's some peace away from noise. Love it. However, for some, that means a little bit of inconvenience (unless you drive), to get to other parts of the island.
Kudos to Daneal - the check-in was a breeze and I even got my room earlier than expected. Daneal also took my feedback about the pool very seriously - he apologised on behalf of the resort and straightaway attended to it by bringing it to the attention of the necessary department in-charge.
I enjoyed my stay so much that I made another reservation for November on my second evening (yes, even before checking out). And who saw to it? The staff who attended to my reservation - Daneal.
It would have been just another resort if not for staff like Daneal. It just takes one person to make a happy returning guest.
Things to work on:
- Cleanliness of the pool: the floor of the pool is dirty with sediments, debris, sand, etc. As the resort is relatively being near the beach and guests do not bother to shower before entering the pool, do clean the pool more regularly (in the night, after the pool closes).
- Temperature screening: There was a family of non-Singaporeans ahead of us. They walked through without being stopped for temperature screening. We thought we could do the same. But the staff a at the temp-screening stopped us. Need I say more?
- Pillows are a tad soft. Sleep quality was affected. I reckon It's matter of personal preference for firmer pillows. Please do regular cleaning.
- Took quite a few emails and booking.com messages to get a response from the Hotel regarding shuttle service. So either Booking.com's messaging platform is not working or the Staff in-charge did not bother to check regularly and respond.

During our stay, one particular individual stood out as a shining example of exceptional service. Although I regrettably didn't catch his name, I feel compelled to express my gratitude for his outstanding assistance.
This gentleman graciously helped us with our luggage, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience. His attentiveness, friendliness, and professionalism truly made it possible for us to have a decent stay at the resort. I believe he deserves special appreciation for his contributions to the overall positive experience we had at Sofitel. Please convey my appreciation to this remarkable individual, and if possible, provide him with this message as a token of my gratitude.
A lot of things..or maybe I was expecting more than I should have.

When i ordered room service, the staff was extra helpful to ensure the items are all according to what we liked.
Nothing.

Facility was infested with mosquitos. We could not enjoy the facilities in the room.
3.8
It’s quite big and comfortable.
It’s too cold (not unlikeable). Even when off air-con, it’s still very cold in the room.
3.8
The breakfast spread is good. Staff are friendly
The rubbish bin in the room is too small. With kids , we required to change their diapers and the bin is too small to throw them. Our card key is very bad. we got to go to the reception to get a replacement. we have to get our 2 kids to wait while getting the access sorted, daily. What make it worst was there
Was only one recept daily and everyday got to wait. The wait gets longer when someone is checking in. I was wet after getting out of the pool and got to go to reception to get my card access and I was sick due to waiting coldly with my wet swimming clothes on. The shuttle bus to RWS is very limited. It brings you there but no shuttle bus provided for return.

Good emplacement on Sentosa island
Clean premises
Untrained and unprofessional staff
Loud music around the swimming pool
Long checkin and checkout time
Unprofessional reception by the restaurant manager
Rooms too far away from the main activities
Dirty swimming pool with food & towels from previous guests not cleaned out

I like it that the villa is very spacious and comfortable. With the outdoor shower area, jacuzzi bath tub and a private pool which is big enough and my kids love it alot. I love that the Villa is very private and distance away from another villa is not so close. Best is we can park our cars just outside the villa for our convenience.
I didn't like it that there is construction going on next to our villa, during early morning and night the construction still going on which caused alot of noise pollution to us. And that we are not informed of there will be people walking in to our villa to do the pool cleaning in the morning, the person just walked in from the side which I feel it intruded our privacy. Checking into the villa was horrible, we have to wait so long as there were issues with the card system. It took more than 30 mins waiting time and I feel its unfair to us as we paid to check in at 3pm but was delayed and we checked in almost 4pm already! Various area of the aircon is dripping water in the villa and the flush of the toilet bowl at the common area wasn't strong, seems like the water can't really do down when flushed. Apart from these, everything else was fine.

Hi,
I would like to get at least a decent amount of refund for the stay at villa 4 that I booked for a birthday party.Firstly, there was leakage from the wall near the sink closest to the dining table which we inform and the staff try to fix it but no avail it was still leaking the whole time even after fixing it .Secondly , after cut cake we immediately put the cake inside the fridge as we wanted eat it after our dinner however there was a lizard inside fridge so we have to throw it away if you ask the house keeping person they would have saw the whole cake near the sink which we just cut one slice for feeding the birthday girl . Adding on the cake was 2 layer which was a total waste of money because the fridge was not properly cleaned prior . I was expecting a top-notch service but it was totally disappointing and dissatisfied experience for me and my guests.
Thanks

The property is dated. Water pressure is low and the sink doesn’t drain very well. There was only one person manning the reception and I had to wait a long time for someone to attend to me when I checked in.

The Spa.
The Reception Service.

Lovely room and facilities. Service staff at the pool side were fantastic. The elderly uncles at the lobby were great too.
Horrible guest relations front desk officers at the check in and concierge. Very poor customer experience in those areas. Check in took long, requests for additional bed and birthday cake had to be reminded. The front desk staff were rude and condescending.
3.8
The service was fantastic, helpful and caring.
3.8
The room was great and the bed was exceptionally comfy. The facility in general was very clean.
The price of food is horrendous, even for Singapore, I paid over $40 for a very average pizza. Didn’t even bother paying for the breakfast.
Location wasn’t great, a bit away from the hub of Sentosa and the bus wasn’t very direct.
3.8
The pool, the location
The bedroom was not ready on arrival. We had to wait about 45mins.
The room had no window. Some bedsheet were dirty, we got them replaced

Was good! There is so much variety.
Shuttle service. There should be more for going around the beach stations. Maybe golf.carts
