Four bedroom luxury duplex chalet style Penthouse Apartment on part 4th & the entire 5th floor of the landmark building 'Lake Placid'.
Central village location: 3 MINUTES WALK TO THE LIFT along the flat across the car park outside the apartment. Two minutes walk bars and restaurants. Supermarket, wine shop, chemist and delicatessen within the same building on the ground floor.

Luxurious apartment and central location: In spite of it's huge size, the penthouse is offered to groups of a max 8 people in order to preserve it's luxurious condition. The penthouse location is central yet ensures complete privacy and quiet.
This penthouse duplex apartment is probably one of the most luxuriously fitted apartment in the village, befitting it's prime central location - no expense has been spared on the fittings and decor.
With over 300 days of sun per year, the micro-climate of Valais lends itself to outdoor sports; in summer the temperature can reach 30 degrees C, but due to it’s high altitude (1400M) the air remains fresh and comfortable.
Local sports facilities: The Penthouse directly overlooks the sports centre of Nendaz, giving a birds eye view of the year round activities that are open to all: these include:
Football pitches. The Para Gliding landing site. Horse-riding. Children’s playground and bike obstacle course. Trampoline. Climbing wall. Ice Rink (winter). Tennis courts (summer).
Winter and summer sports activites: Winter sports: Skiing - Nendaz is in the middle of the vast ‘Four Valleys’ ski system with over 400kms of marked pistes, including Verbier. The lift with direct access to this range is 3 minutes walk from the apartment.
Summer sports: Walking and hiking – there are over 100kms of marked paths throughout the mountains for walking.
Cycling - Mountain bikes can be taken on the lift free during the summer season between June and September with over 200 kms of marked paths to enjoy.
Swimming – there is an outdoor heated swimming pool 5 minutes walk away where the water is heated to 25 degrees C from June to September – it has a sun-bathing area around it with sweeping mountain views for miles around.
Para gliding – the para gliding school is at the top of the telecabine and the landing site is on the football pitch opposite the apartment.
Golf – Sion Golf Club is half an hours drive away, and the championship course Crans sur Sierre is at Crans Montana 45 minutes.

The location of the apartment is perfect. Just a few minutes away from the Gondola, restaurants, supermarkets, tourist office etc. The view from the balcony is stunning. Would always come back!

Absolutely fantastic apartment- spotlessly clean, kitchen well equipped and plenty of room. Being on two levels makes the apartment feel much bigger with great views from the balconies. Ideally located in the centre of town with 2 supermarkets close by and plenty of restaurants. Because the kitchen was so good we ate in the apartment for most of our stay. Excellent and easy communication with host, can’t recommend it highly enough.

Great appartment for a ski vacation. Appartment is quite big and has everything what you need.
Location to the skilift is also great. Grocery store is right under the appartment.

Very well located (despite noisy in summer due to all the outdoor music events) and clean / well organised. Easy access to all shops / amenities. Property manager could be more proactive but owner (Chris) is compensating by being very responsive and helpful

Ideal and exceeded expectations
Our vacationing family was four traveling from America and four joining from Zurich. None had vacationed in the Four Valley region. Five are experienced skiers and the weather cooperated enough for them to get two GREAT days of skiing. The other 3 were true novices and they took lessons for one day. The funicular is on the other side of the hockey rink and it put you on the curb of the ski lifts.
The penthouse was well perfectly situated with one side facing back toward Sion in the lower valley and the other aspect looking up into the mountains. Migros (the supermarket) was literally downstairs - but closes early enough to no cause any noise or nuisance. The village of Haute Nendaz had (or at least we found) four lovely bakeries for fresh morning bread and croissants. The house has a fondue pot but no raclette grill but they can be rented in the village.
The fire place is lovely and the balconies are awesome! There is a Coop across the street (another grocery store). We ate at 3330 Brasserie is a comfy bar with great burgers and on-tap beer. There is a spa close by for facials and massages.
This little village is fantastic. It is awesome for avid skiers. I would return during summer for hiking.

Spacious and comfortable in an ideal location
I travelled with family, ages ranging from 70's to 12. There was plenty of room in a very well-equipped, traditional-style apartment. A great kitchen and dining area. A big fridge and importantly, loads of wine glasses! The location is perfect, being right in the middle of the town and a two-minute walk from the funicular. The beds were firm and comfortable and the showers were pretty good. There are lovely views on two sides.The main balcony is ideal for the afternoon sun for five or six people to sit out on (south-west-facing).
If I had to criticise anything in the apartment, it would be the lack of pillows (you only get one pillowcase per person) and it's quite difficult to manoeuvre around the larger bedroom without constantly bashing your head on the sloping ceiling!
The entrance to the apartment block, including the small lift and the well-used carpets, is pretty tired-looking.
Having said that, it wouldn't stop me staying here again. I didn't want to leave!

This property is perfectly located within the town and is a two minute walk to the lift that takes you up to the Télécabine. It provides all your basic requirements for a comfortable stay.

Alpenhorn Festival
This is an ideal location for this festival usually held at the end of July. It overlooks the festival grounds and we had music even in the penthouse. We enjoyed it fully!

Great Location, Clean and tidy central accommodation with birds eye view of Ice hockey rink from balcony. Really enjoyed it. We have stayed many times over the years and still go back which speaks for itself.

Excellent very central to the town and easy to find.
The apartment is superb with car parking our stay was over Christmas and did not want for anything the apartment has all the equipment . All the shops are open 6/7 days and very good restraunts. The cable car station is only 5 min walk.

Spacious, well equipped and centrally located penthouse
Getting there: The apartment, and key collection are both easy to find. Really easy experience collecting the key, with helpful host.
Location: This really is one of the best locations in Nendaz. This is the first time we'd been to the village to ski, and looking at maps etc before we went, it's hard to judge where you want to be. You won't be disappointed. Above a supermarket, opposite bars, restaurants, and 50metres from the lift which takes you to the bottom for the main gondola up to Nendaz. Overlooking the icerink, there's always something going on, but no issues with noise, Nendaz is a quiet resort, especially out of school holidays, so we weren't bothered by street noise at all.
Equipment: We cooked most nights, and the appliances and equipment are plenty to be able to cater for yourself. Large Fridge etc made storage very easy. The added benefit of washing machine and dryer made holidaying with two young children, and lots of smelly ski wear very easy.
Comfort: The pictures don't do this place justice. The living area is spacious, and all beds and rooms are comfortable, with plenty of storage. If you are thinking about this place for small children, I'd recommend taking a stair gate, just for piece of mind when upstairs.

A great property for a large family or group of friends, sleeps 8 with 2 bathrooms and laundry facilities. Very central , close to shops, restaurants and ski bus stop!

Spacious, well furnished with central location.
We had a lovely summer stay in Haute-Nendaz, enjoying plenty of walking with spectacular scenery (and some alpen horn music). The penthouse is very close to a passenger funicular which takes you to the foot of the Tracouet cable car, so I imagine it would be quite easy to access the ski area in winter. The Wednesday market was a nice surprise and our teens loved the village's outdoor swimming pool.
The penthouse was ideal for us - very clean, spacious and well furnished and we appreciated having use of all the appliances. We're used to renting apartments in France, so it was a lovely surprise to find essentials like washing-up liquid and toilet paper already there for us, and also having mugs and a kettle as we've stayed in places where there are only tiny coffee cups and a coffee machine.
Yannick was very pleasant and carefully explained details about the lift and how to return the keys as we left early on the Friday morning.
We would definitely recommend the penthouse to friends - it really is as good as it looks on the website. We had a great holiday with easy communications and no stress!

Outstanding Accomodation For The Perfect Ski Trip
The Penthouse was spotless and exceeded our expectations. Chris is very helpful and quick to respond. Booking through to key collection was hassle free. We had a great week skiing and thoroughly enjoyed cooking and relaxing in the apartment in an evening and watching the Ice Hockey from the balcony!
I am sure we will book again as the location is perfect, easily accessible by car and Nendaz offers a great range of restaurants when you're too tired to cook!
We would not hesitate to recommend The Penthouse to friends.

A brilliant skiing holiday in a great location
A luxurious well maintained apartment with easy access to the ski slopes, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. A great network of slopes and lifts, with minimum queuing. Some of the restaurants are a little expensive, but once the log fire is blazing it seems a shame to go out, so we chose to cook our own food for a few nights. We only used the hire car twice. One trip from the airport and one back, so it would have been quite possible to have managed without a car. All in all we had a great time and would certainly return to the Penthouse for another holiday!

An excellent choice for skiing in Switzerland!
A spacious, clean and well maintained property with very convenient location for access to the ski slopes, local amenities and restaurants. The ski network is excellent. After a day on the slopes followed by the après ski, the apartment is a great place to retreat and relax. We dined in for a number of nights. The restaurants were good quality, but a little on the expensive side. Although a car is useful, it is not essential as the public transport together with a ski pass can adequately provide for all travel needs. (One of our party caught the train from Geneva airport to Sion, then caught a bus to Nendaz. I am informed that both services operate regularly). In summary a great place for a good holiday!

Our stay at the "Penthouse" Nendaz .
The apartment was very much up to our expectations,being clean and tidy throughout.Collection of the keys from the Managing Agents was well organized.Having been renting apartments in the Alps for more than 50 years I can say that the Penthouse must be the best my family and I have ever rented.I have already recommended it to a number of our friends and would not hesitate to use it in future years.
The apartment is well positioned in the village with easy access to all the main attractions the village has to offer which are many and varied. The apartment is large by any Alpine standards,very well equipped with quality fixtures and fittings and the photographs and floor plans shown on the owners web-site are a true reflection of the size and scope of what is on offer. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to others

Home from home!
My party of 8 enjoyed a fantastic holiday based at Chris' apartment in Nendaz. The apartment was presented perfectly. It was spacious, comfortable and we settled down almost immediately as if it was our home.
The apartment easily met our expectations and was very easy to live in. We would be happy to return again and would recommend it to anyone.
The new funicular to Tracouet was very handy.
The agents were polite and helpful. They made us feel welcome and that notrhing would be too much trouble to sort out although we didn't need anything.
