I had an exceptional stay at the Four Stars Hotel Gnollhof in Gufidaun, Chiusa. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the wonderful experiences this hotel had to offer.
The culinary offerings at Hotel Gnollhof were nothing short of fantastic. Both breakfast and dinner were a delight, with a wide variety of delicious options that left my taste buds satisfied. The care and attention to detail in each dish truly showcased the culinary expertise of the hotel's kitchen.
The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view from my room. Waking up to the sight of the majestic mountains was a surreal and unforgettable experience. The room itself was comfortable and well-furnished, providing a cozy haven to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.
The spa facilities at Hotel Gnollhof were a true oasis of relaxation. The sauna was rejuvenating, and the outdoor pool offered a refreshing dip with a picturesque backdrop. The hot tub was the perfect spot to soak away any stress, allowing me to fully unwind and indulge in the tranquil ambiance.
The staff's warmth and hospitality further enriched my stay. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any request made me feel valued and well taken care of.
In conclusion, Four Stars Hotel Gnollhof is a gem nestled in the heart of Gufidaun. The combination of delectable dining, awe-inspiring mountain views, and rejuvenating spa facilities created an unforgettable experience. It was beyond expectation!
We walked a lot during the first two weeks of our trip to Italy, and we had just gone on a hike to Tre Cime before we arrived the hotel. We got a good rest in this hotel.
We were expecting to walk around the nearby towns, but the hotel was so nice and well equipped that we didn't want to go out after our stay.
We stayed here for two nights and arrived in the afternoon. We thought that only breakfast and dinner were included, but the hotel told us that we could have afternoon tea, which was a pleasant surprise. Moreover, lunch was also included the next day, which was great! All the meals and drinks we had at the hotel were very tasty and fresh.
The sauna, pool and lounge were great and very clean. The aroma of the hotel is very pleasant and the rooms are large and very clean and comfortable!
The staff was very nice, always smiling and caring. I think I will travel to Italy especially for this hotel.

The hotel and spa area are newly renovated with large, beautiful rooms with magnificent views of the Dolomites. Exemplary social distancing was in place at the time, but it didn't detract from our holiday at all.
You also receive a daily newsletter highlighting local walks and attractions, so planning your activities is easy. There is even a backpack in each room you can use for hikes during your stay. Just bring a good pair of boots.
While the selection of food was excellent, the roast meat dishes (duck, beef, etc.) were tasteless. I'm not sure if the chef doesn't like seasoning, but, personally, it made what could have been a great meal quite ordinary. On one of the evenings the panna cotta wasn't set either.
We also felt the staff could be trained better. They're very friendly, but they only do what you ask. For example, if you asked for fried eggs for breakfast, they won't ask if you would like bacon, mushrooms, etc. If you ask, they'll do it with a smile, but they won't offer. We didn't realize it at first, so we thought it wasn't on offer until we saw others having it.
If you want to have a massage, make sure you book it before you arrive. If not, you may not be able to get an appointment.
