The location is fantastic, by the beach, in a quiet part of the village. We loved it. The beach is clean and the water wonderful. There is a restaurant and a minimarket, and you can reach more shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Ferreting about on google maps, spotted Melitsahas beach, a little to the west of Myrties, and decided that was the place for us.
Unbelievably, Anna’s is literally right on this beach, the only accommodation so placed, and we booked it for 9 nights at a bargain price, so not expecting much apart from location.
We’d had a lovely studio in Astypalaia before arriving here, so I was worried Mrs C might be a bit underwhelmed, but our studio, no.2 (I think it is very slightly bigger than the others?) was a joy. Modern, good little kitchenette, great bed, small yet perfect bathroom (always hot water!), a fan, mozzie screen and good quiet aircon … and that view! The beach below and looking across to Telendhos, the sun setting behind it at about 8.30pm…€ ‘000’s wouldn’t get you better. The other great thing is the northeast orientation of the balconies meant they were usable until around 1.30pm before the sun hit them. Too many south facing balconies we’ve had have been almost unusable in Greek summers, unless you’re on them at 6am😊
Melitsahas is a sort of locals secret, several Kalymniots told us, in a hushed, hand to the side way, about this and were delighted we’d already found it and were staying there! Pretty quiet most of the day, around 5 until 7.30pm, locals come down, and the kids burnt some energy in the sand & small shingle, with a fairly fast shelving into the water, 5mtrs out, 1.5mtrs deep. This is the best beach in the area, sandier than Myrties and most of Massouri.
For us, nothing could have been better :)

Rooms, cleanliness, hotel was perfect especially families with having kids. Exactly located at the beach. Owners were very friendly and they always tried their best to clean rooms during our stay. There is a nice mini market next to hotel so that you may buy food for breakfast and prepare in the room easily. Rooms has small but sufficient kitchen.
Everything was best at this price.

The best sunsets in Kalymnos on our terrace. Very nice view, location on the beach (too bad that wasnt warm enough to swim). The rooms are nice and have basic cooking facilities.
Despite the mosquito nets, we couldnt get rid of the mosquitoes.

Perfect location, right on the beach. Listen to the waves at night, so relaxing

Lovely family run place right on the beach

Kindness of the owners, very quiet place, very beautiful beach, no mosquitos because at the balcony door is a moskito net door, a small market directly by the studio, also restaurants.
The bed was comfy and had always a hot shower!
I recommend

Seemed newly remodeled. Right next to the beach, and incredible view.
Despite all the windows having window screens, there were still lots of mosquitos entering at night (probably through the gap on the bottom of the front door?). Fixed this by putting a towel underneath the door.

it was close to nice beach with lovley view. Anna and her family was very nice and the rooms had all we needed.
There was less sun than expected.

We had an amazing stay at Anna’s studios. We loved the views of the sea and Telendos, and there’s a beach downstairs!
The coffee machine in our room was a god send as we woke up super early for climbing. You’re about a 30min walk to Gerakoios/Trois Illots and Symplegades sector
One day we came home to find cake in the fridge!
We will be back again

I have had a very pleasant stay in front of the beach. The view from the balkony to the island Telendos is awesome. It was a privilege to be so close to the waves and listen there sound. Thank you for your hospitality.
Nothing to mention.

we stayed 8 days and Anna, the lovely host, kept everything most clean with fresh linnen and towels ever so often. of course there was wifi, better by the front door than in the bed 😄 when asked could we get a late checkout that was easy as the next guest for our room would not arrive till next day, so we stayed till 3pm. we promised to come back as the sunny location by one of the best beaches in the area is as unbeatable as the room price per night
there is not one thing you could complain about

- amazing view down to the beach and over to Telendos!
- We have got the corner apartment and enjoyed a very large balcony
- sleeping on the sound of waves
- the location is a bit of the center, so you have to walk about 15-20min into the center of the main town, but there are very lovely restaurants nearby the apartment!
- Nikolas was very helpful and nice!
- wifi was very bad, almost not existing in the room
- the bathroom is very small and does not have a shower curtain, therefore you easily flood the whole bathroom
- Due to a very late ferry to Kalymnos on our check-out day, we kindly asked if we could extend our stay for one more night, it would not have been an issue for us to change rooms. Even though booking.com gave us the option to book another night, Anna (the wife of the owner) told us, we could only book another 2 nights. Moreover she insisted that we were only to dumb to check for a better boat service, even though we have checked multiple times at different travel services.
We then decided to not book another night via booking.com and stayed 1 more night at a different hotel. On check-out day, we were then pressured to leave the room, even though it was well before check out time!
We have loved the location and the studio so far, but were quite disappointed with the customer treatment at the end..

Pretty nice location. Exceptional hosts. Very nice room. Great view. Nice tavern under the hotel.
Older bathroom but that's ok. Small toilet seat... but to be fair I noticed quite a few hotels in the islands have small toilet seats... which is sometimes an issue with non-thin men.

The location is more than perfect. The sunset there is magical the best in the whole island. The beach is great with blue clean water.
The Studio was clean, beds are comfortable and the view overlooking the sea and a small island in front is really amazing. We were sleeping on the sound of the waves watching the stars. There is a restaurant just down on the beach as well offering great tasty premium quality food. People there including the host and the restaurant staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I really felt home with them. Thank you all for such a great hospitality.
Nothing. Everything is great.

Directly on the beach, some restaurants nearby : 10 to 50 meters. Next supermarket about 150 meters but it is an up and down to walk which makes it a bit exhausting. Just take it as your daily exercise :-). And it is on the way to the ferry to Telendos (50 m more) and to Masouri (200 m more).
Just a microwave. In the threebedroom apartement the ac was in the kitchen. So it took quite a long time til it got cooler in the bedroom.

Room 5 has balcony on 2 sides giving a 270 degree view of the beach which is directly below.
Only a microwave - no hob - so self catering options are limited and

Anna is a very nic and relaxed hostess. We liked her so much. She is very sensitive, if her guests want a near contact or not. She adjusted perfectly, if we were in the mood for a little talk or if we wanted to be left in peace. It was a very good holiday at Anna's! And - she cares for the cats :-)
The rooms were always clean, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and if you are lucky, Anna gives you some of her great meat balls - and you will love them als well as her selfmade cake ;-)
We can recommend Anna' Studios.
In the bedroom there are no mosquito nets, so there are a lot of mosquitos around in the night. But as we brought along our own mosquito nets and some removable tape, we were able to solve the problem and slept very well.
