secluded, quiet, close to nature, extremely amiable staff, well located to visit sites. many birds. Didn’t see a single mosquito.
4.5
Quiet and pleasant nature place

The place is set in a beautiful garden, it is very quiet - you only hear birds singing. The individual houses are a nice touch, we had a floor and a terrace for our own . The staff is super nice and attentive. The breakfast was tasty with fresh fruits, coffee and an omelet. The location is really convenient for visiting Uxmal. However, you should be aware that there is no air conditioning in the room.
During our stay, the pool was closed and no dinner was offered, so we had to head out in the evening again. The value for the price was medium, as all the amenities were closed and the room furnishing is quite minimalistic.

This place is AMAZING especially if you want to escape from the noise and traffic of the big cities. It's like being in the middle of a jungle, you hear birds chirping and crickets chirping. The best are the managers - never met so attentive and lovely people! They really made our stay amazing and we would love come back!
Everything was nice. The pool is very small but actually that's shown on the pictures, so not a surprise. As there are many mosquitos around the pool area it's anyway not recommended to spend a long time there :D

The property was very nice loved the pool and rooms. Most of all the hosts Louis and Yadira were absolutely wonderful. So kind and an attentive to our needs and interests.
We wish dinner was available every night… the breakfasts were fabulous

Everything, food, room, environment, especially the hosts. Very friendly and helpfull.
The road to get at the property was in a bad condition, so we were afraid of having a flat tire.
4.5
Area, room, breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
No air conditioning and no refrigerator

The place is so quiet in the jungle
The staff is very attentive and you feel at home
The main gate closes at 10pm so we couldn't stay out too long

The hotel is secluded and very quiet, yet conveniently located for visiting several nearby Mayan ruin sites. A car is very necessary to get there as it is tucked away 800 metres from the main road. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Lovely people and a very positive experience. Rooms are basic, not luxurious which suited us fine.

great kind and professional staff, very quiet and relaxed place in a very well maintained eco hotel and garden.
the morning coffee could be a bit improved, but all the est was perfect.

Fantastic stay. Really warm welcome. Beautiful buildings and structures in the forest. Beautiful temazcal. Amazing genuine eco-friendly experience.
Really we felt so happy to be there, and to have the experience of the forest. I can't identify anything that we didn't like and we feel very grateful to the staff there for receiving us.

great jungle vibe and comfortable beds. the place is unique. loved it!
we had some surprising insects in the bathroom. I guess it is unavoidable considering the vegetation and ecological concept.

The property was lush and beautiful, and the night sky was brilliant!

The breakfast was very good.
They don't accept card payments and expect you to may your stay in cash.

The cook was excellent. He made us a delicious breakfast. His soup and dessert at dinner were excellent. But what he had been instructed to prepare as our main course was not sufficient for the price we paid - we were presented with just three tacos as our main course.
The eco hotel was a wonderful idea, but it is rather run down - they obviously do not get enough visitors to make a profit. The grounds were not maintained - paths not swept

peaceful, beautiful, care and thought put into the facilities sustainability.
simply that I didn’t realise how ideal it was for peace and tranquility.

Lovely grounds and room. Excellent Breakfast. Pretty flowers and nice vegetation on property. Is quiet except for lots of birds.
You need to go out to santa Elena for dinner.... it is close by, But requires a car.

The room was spacious and clean
This is advertised as an Eco Hotel and we were expecting normal standards of service (meals, room cleaning) given that the price was not cheap. Electricy cut off during dinner. Rooms not cleaned. Can only pay in cash. Then head staff disappeared after taking payment . when asked to show me dipping pool was told “What? Now?”. USD15 for a simple tapas-like dinner.

Excellent breakfast, very friendly and quiet place! Near great sights, authentic villages and small towns. We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect!

Spacious, very clean rooms. Beds are okay. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff.
Good price/value.
Shower not very great and only hot water on request.
2.5
Lovely natural environment, clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff.
Too hot an environment not to have an air conditioner. Recommend the website be more clear about the fact that the rooms don't have them. The screen doors need to completely close to keep out bugs. Also the pool was rather dirty and the toilets did not work very well.

Gorgeous setting in the Yucatán jungle. Extremely peaceful and relaxing. The staff is so kind - I had a stomach bug while here and the staff brought me tea and made sure I was feeling better. So hospitable and caring.

The location to Ruta Puuc is perfect! I loved that the property seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. The rooms were large, clean, private, and beautiful. The balcony was massive and nature was outside our door. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. No air conditioning but the cross breeze in the room was sufficient. The owner is the most lovely lady who told us a lot about the property and some of the fascinating history of the land it was built on.
Breakfast was offered but no other meals, which is fine, except there are no refrigerators in the rooms and no restaurants within an easy walk so we had to drive somewhere for every meal. I had messaged the property a week before we arrived asking if they could accommodate plant-based diets for breakfast but no one responded. On our first morning, they put together a wonderful vegan breakfast for us, but on the second morning, it seemed as though it may have been the leftovers from the day before. The pool was extremely small.
4.5
what a great place to stay. Starting with the very warm-hearted hosts - to the - in a great, individual design - accommodations. this place is definitely worth the trip - and worth coming back.
