We had such a comfortable stay at this cottage. It is absolutely gorgeous and stocked with everything we needed! Communication with our host was easy and quick. Check-in/out process was all easy.
This was a wonderful weekend of family quality time, and our stay was made luxurious by staying here. Thank you so much to our hosts!
If you decide to stay here, you’ll be blown away too! Their only request is to please, please leash your dogs if they are outside on the property and to take them to potty behind the house. There are some cats and chickens that live there, so please protect them by being mindful of your doggies. ❤️

The overall property at Bunny Hill is beautiful! It’s a quiet cottage with lots of room to spread out in the house and on the grounds, we stayed for 7 nights. My family and I drove from FL, about 9 hour drive from where we live, it took us all day to get there, we didn’t arrive until after dark around 6:30pm. The only reason I’m giving this property 4-stars, is that upon arriving at the destination, Juliann had no clue we were even booked for that night. I had messaged her an hour prior to our arrival saying I never got an access code or information about how to enter the house, no response. I tried calling twice and no pick up, luckily she lives on the property and I had to knock on her door. She apologized many times, and asked us to come back in a hour, as she still had to get the house ready/cleaned, because she got the dates mixed up. On my part, this had never happened to me before for a VRBO stay and I was shocked considering she had such wonderful reviews on her listing, it was not a good first impression and it was a huge inconvenience for my 2 toddler kids, mother, my husband and my dog. She did reimburse me for some of the cleaning fee, which was appreciated, but we were all tired from driving all day and for someone not to remember that we booked the VRBO was terrible. Besides this issue, the rest of our stay was great. She had texted us almost every day to ask if we needed anything and if everything was ok, which was very kind. I did think a lot of the outlets of the house were older and some were spotty and didn’t work well. The kitchen was big and beautiful, but missing many day-to-day items, such as whisk or scissors and more silverware would have be useful. The overall house was very clean and comfortable and the massive chandelier in the sitting area was breathtaking. She had it decorated beautifully. The walkway down to the house was horrible for older people, and is in need a railing/fixing and more lighting, especially at night when everything is so dark. Overall, the property was a quiet retreat close to many little shops and conveniently located to Helen and Cleveland.

This property was wonderful! So clean and lovely. Juli was great and so responsive to any questions we had! Clarksville was centrally located, we made easy day trips to Helen & Clayton. Our boys loved being outside on the property, they ran, played and loved looking for the chickens and cats that live there! We would definitely return, we had a wonderful time!

The house was as it appeared in the online pictures. Grounds were as described by the owner. Everything was comfortable except the bathroom situation downstairs. It would have helped to have had it clarified the downstairs arrangement with bedrooms and the shared bathroom. It is fine for a family but we had adults who were part of a mission team. Two couples and one woman had planned to stay there until we realized that the bathroom was located in the bedroom with large bed. That meant the woman staying in the twin bedroom would have to go through the bedroom one of the couples was staying in to get to the bathroom. We had to make other arrangements for her lodging. It ended up that only four people stayed there. Thanks for all your assistance!

My family came up for a quick trip to enjoy the area for Christmas time. We were pleased with the house and the attention to detail. Everything was very clean. There was plenty enough towels , linens, dish ware and everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Our favorite part of the stay was the resident cats on the property. They made us very welcome! There was only one con (and I’m only saying this because it’s barely a con) and that was the walkway to the house is a bit uneven and steep. So small children or people with difficulty walking might find it hard to navigate. Otherwise I highly recommend it! Thanks again for having us :)

We’ve stayed at a handful of VRBO homes, but this home stood out on so many levels.
For starters the host is super quick to answer questions via the app and very accommodating.
The house is one of a kind! The attention to detail from decorations to the welcoming snacks and drinks, to the stocked kitchen, to the notes and suggestions, the house felt like a well loved home throughout.
We brought our dog with us and had zero issues keeping her leashed while on property, plenty of room to walk her and avoid the critters on the property.
Our toddler son absolutely adored meeting Rhonnie the resident black cat, and petting him, as well as a few of the others.
We had a lovely stay at the Sunflower and would come back if we vacation in the area again.

This farmhouse is so beautiful that it has inspired me to come home and imitate some of Julianne's decorating ideas! I would describe the house as a mixture of modern farmhouse and vintage romance (the entire inside is white shiplap, wood beams, dark black floors, decorated with vintage finds - gorgeous!) . I spent five days in this house and was still discovering cools antiques she had in the house.
The beds were extremely comfortable too. The house has EVERYTHING you need for your stay. Its only 1 mile from downtown with stores and restaurants.
It sits on 30 acres and there is another rental on the property and the main house which didn't bother us at all. We never saw them.
We had our dog with us. You do have to keep your dog on a leash at all times while outside because of the owners outdoor cats. (We loved the cats...so sweet. My daughter spent a lot of time hanging with the outdoor cats.) Next time we visit, we will probably bring a stake with us to she can lay out in the sunshine without us having to hold her by the leash.
We loved this house and I'm sure will be back again.

We rented for a girls weekend to visit a nearby spa. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. We loved the kitchen! Decor was beautiful. Location was perfect for nearby restaurants. Beds were comfortable. We will stay again!

Listing was very accurate. But what cannot be described is feeling of welcome. The owners described the property as a retreat and went above and beyond to achieve this. Very nice touches throughout the home with quality supplies and linens etc. We enjoyed the use of the fire pit and seeing the rabbit burrows. Wound recommend!

My adult grandaughter loved the kitchen. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere, only wishing they had more time to relax there, as they were frequently meeting other family at other places. They really appreciated the opportunity to have their pets with them.

We had great communication with the property owners who were also onsite. So many fun things to see around the house from cats to a vulture family to lots of land to walk around. The house itself has so many personal touches I would ask whoever stays to respect the history that is part of this house. Everything has a story from the utensils to the artwork to the furniture. It's just beautiful. Lots of room for everyone to relax in several different places. Loved it!
