Family and friends in town for Metallica concerts. This place was very clean, quiet, comfortable and a very easy drive from downtown Seattle. Wonderful communication with the host.

We had a wonderful time! The home was perfectly equipped with everything we needed! Our family fit perfectly and the location was very convenient and quiet. We plan to be back!

Beautiful view of lake Washington. House sits higher on a hill. The Mapquest was needed to find the house. The House is older, large and easy to get around in. There were lights not working in several areas in the house. The most inconvenient was a bathroom where we had to bring in a floor lamp and plug it in to see. A couple hall lights were out. There was an odd industrial light fixture in the bathroom not working and no spare bulbs. We had to use toilet paper sparingly. Each of 2 toilets had 1 roll. The tiny kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and extra food. Loved having coffee when we arrived, thank you. When we pulled the sheets off to be washed the mattress pad didn’t look like it had been washed for a long time and were large yellow pee stains. But the linens had a strong bleach smell so maybe the pad just needed replacing. Plenty of shampoo conditioner options but no body soap. Shampoo worked for that. Great interesting book selection. Plenty of parking. Great DVD movie selection but couldn’t get the DVD player to work. Pretty large dining room table. Be careful of the coffee table in the living room. It is very rickety. The thermostat work easily to turn up and down. It would have been helpful to have a notebook with instructions on how to use the DVD player and remote controls. Floor’s easy to clean. Door lock’s easy to use. Owner responds quickly to questions. Close to The Landing for shopping.

This house needs A LOT of work. Its weird they keep a lot of their personal stuff around (like a truck parked in the carport). Bad neighborhood, extremely hilly and suspicious people around. They do have a sign that says to keep noise low at night on the patio, which is to be expected, but me and my husband were just sitting out there talking (no yelling, music, etc) and the neighbor came out and yelled at us. It was clear she wasn't happy about the house being a rental. I would not stay here again.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with a great view from the windows. There is a nice balcony to sit and there is no mission in finding parking since it is a house. Check in was super simple and owner maintained contact to ensure everything was comfortable and clean.
The house was clean and fresh, the kitchen cabinets were labeled making it very easy to find what we needed and the bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials.
It was not difficult to locate the property and it was perfect distance for any outing.
I would definitely stay again as long as its available.

The home is just as described and fit our family well. It has a wonderful deck with a beautiful little view of the lake. A great location for exploring Seattle and the surrounding area.

The property was great, the only thing that would have made it a little better would have been one more tv. With a teenager who brought his Xbox along, another tv would have been great! Otherwise, the view from the deck is awesome, and the house is very roomy!

Our family of 4 stayed here for a few days during our bathroom remodel, as it is a short drive away from our Southeast Seattle home. The house was clean and well-maintained, and it is in a quiet residential neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, and the house is a good size for a family. The owner provided excellent communication, always answering my questions promptly.

Once our payment went through the owners told us the laundry didn’t work, that they needed to park their personal car in the driveway, and that the neighbor complains about noise so we needed to be quiet. Not only that we paid a cleaning fee and once we checked out of the property the owners charged us an extra $50. The owners told us it was for cleaning but when we called VRBO about it they said it was for property damage. We did not damage the property. We only slept there. I would not stay here again or stay at any property these owners rent.

The only negative about the property is that a tree next to the driveway cracked the driveway with its roots long ago. The driveway has not been repaired, so it is a "big bump" entering it because the driveway has been pushed up about 6 inches, and nothing has been done to make it smooth again.

The only issue I had was that it was almost 100 degrees during out stay and it was HOT without AC. With that said, most homes in the Seattle area do not have AC.....We survived and most stays do not have this amount of heat.

Exactly what my family needed for a short stay in greater Seattle. Clean, spacious and everything we needed. Owner was very responsive and accommodating.

Great property suited our needs perfect as it was close to family. Very clean, except the living room rug. Windows in the living room are awesome; and some views of the lake when the fog lifts; nice city lights too.
Some of the renovations are underwhelming, laminate floor over the top of the old floor. Constructive feedback would be upgrade the master bed to a king size and use sturdier frame (a lot of creaking) and fix the gas fireplace so it works. Would definitely rent again

Just as described easy to communicate with the property owner, everything was as listed, very clean, sparse, simple, but practical. Nice mid century fireplace and big windows looking onto trees.

The property was nice enough with a great view. It's in a very quiet neighborhood and, other than the rare heatwave, it's great for sleeping. It's about a 20-30 minute drive to the city or to any restaurants of note. We did find a great spot nearby called The Stonehouse Cafe. Recommend their breakfast.

The house was clean and met most of our needs. The reason I give in 4 stars is because of an eyesore in the dining room. There is a large window that looked into a small attached room that appeared to be an old workspace - likely a wood shop, craft room or greenhouse. The view wasn’t pleasant but didn’t affect our overall stay.
The location was good for exploring Seattle and the neighborhood was pleasant and quiet.

We had a great, quick stay here. The house was very clean and open...great space for the six of us. Beds were very comfortable.

Great property and owner! Lovely mid-century modern home with 3 bedrooms. Everything was in order and Marian and Jone were most helpful and responsive! We will return on our next visit to Seattle!

It's a beautiful home with an equally beautiful environment. Very clean, I didnt have any mishap at all, MJ the owner was very fluent with communication. The property its self is amazing. The evening sunsets are literally phenomenal. I reccomend anyone to stay here, as I would love to come to this property again and again. I'm thankful

The bottomline is we had Christmas there and it was wonderful. The view of the lake. The streets are a bit tricky but it all worked out great.

We had a group of 6 traveling to Renton for a work conference and this property worked great for us! Marian was very timely in her communication and helping us with anything we needed. The property was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet with nice views of Lake Washington. It was only about $35 uber ride to downtown Seattle as well.

Older style home with large, uncluttered rooms. The beds are inviting as well as the large living room sofa.
Guest area for the most part was sufficiently clean and maintained. You can see they have replaced what I would expect was old carped with beautiful hardwood flooring. But as expected with an older home, there is some work to be done outside. We originally had chosen this home partly because of the yard and deck, but chose not to utilize this space as it is as not as accessible as we thought it would have been.
Very quite neighbourhood. Did not see even 1 person walking on the street the whole 3 days we were there. Overall a great location With easy access to restaurants, shopping and such.
We didn’t do any cooking, so won’t comment on the kitchen amenities. Linens were clean and crisp. Could have used a few more towels. But that could be because we were traveling with two small children. Both bathrooms had a hairdryer which was nice considering one of the bathrooms had only a toilet and sink.
I have to say that our host went out of her way to ensure we were accommodated. She brought in a play pen for our 1 year old, and she had her housekeeper prepare the home early enough to allow us an early check in.
Overall this was a good place for our family of 6 to spend a long weekend. Had we stayed longer than a week, only thing missing would have been is a washing machine and dryer for laundry.

The house was just as advertised. Nice and spacious for the 4 of us. Nice view of the Lake. While we were there the temps were in the 90’s. The house doesn’t have AC(which is the norm for the Seattle area) but fans were available in every room and helped keep rthe house comfortable. Our host did text us to see if we were doing OK with the fans which was very nice! We would stay again!
