This is a rustic cabin with a great screened front porch across the road from a fast flowing creek. Nice quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, except an ice cream scoop. Ha, ha. My son and I very much enjoyed our stay. David, the manager, did a great job of accommodating us.

This property was perfect for 2 adults and our dog! We spent plenty of time exploring during the day and Green Mountain Falls was a perfect central location for everything we wanted to do! Our dog thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch on the cool mornings and evenings. We saw plenty of deer. We were able to fall asleep to the sound of the falls with our windows open, and use the provided heaters to warm the cabin in the morning. The Pantry and Blue Moose Tavern have good food and even nicer people! David was very kind! We would definitely stay again!

Green Mountain Falls was absolutely idyllic and a gorgeous place to explore. With deer just napping in the neighborhood yards and a babbling brook rolling thru, sitting on the screened in front porch was our favorite thing to do!! We basically spent the majority of the trip there. On top of being a great location, it's only 20-30 minutes from Manitou/Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods, and the drive is just as breathtaking. It's also right near Pike's Peak entrance. And then about 15 minutes from lots of restaurants/shopping chains for necessities.
David chatted us up on one of our mornings and he is a great host, very responsive. The cabin is definitely rustic but charming. The back yard is basically a hiking trail. I wish we'd had more time to explore even. The older mattresses on the beds were our only complaint. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

You can't beat the location. 10-20 minutes from Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods. The shower didn't work properly, so that was disappointing. Also, it was low 40s and the interior walls of both rooms aren't finished/insulated. While there were two space heaters in the cabin, they didn't put off heat more than a few inches from them. We tried to move them into the bedrooms and one worked, but the other kept causing the breaker to blow. There were quite a few spiders.
But the screened in porch was wonderful. You could hear the waterfalls from it while you enjoyed the peaceful mornings. Also, the hikes right down the street were challenging and beautiful! Again, you can't beat the location. It really was a super cute cabin, just could use a couple of improvements.

We had a great time checking out local trails, chasing the aspens and just hanging out. We visited Pikes Peak, Rampart reservoir, Cripple Creek, hit trails Green Mountain Falls area, Rampart reservoir area and Horse Thief Falls trail on the way to Cripple Creek.
Drove up to Breckenridge area too look fall colors. Saw the buffalo herd on Hwy 9. The deer were daily visitors to cabin.
Have a wonderful time.

What a trip. We wanted privacy and quiet. We got it. The only thing making noise was the sound of the falls. Loved the place. It had everything these dumb Texans needed when it got cold. Loved Dave what a great guy. Next time l, and there will be a next time maybe we can sit and visit with him more. We enjoyed some of the local dining and of course drive for hours and saw all the sights. Brought our dog with us and he had a blast too. Found Bear Creek dog park in Colorado Springs and we all got to enjoy over 10 acres of fun off leash. All in all this was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Reminded me of my granny’s place when I was a kid. Reading and having coffee on the screened in patio was awesome way to start our day. The wild right out the back door. We will be back!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect for exploring trails and tourist spots up and down the mountain. We loved using the fireplace. Very quiet area. This is an over 100 year old cabin so adjust your expectations accordingly. This is for those seeking something rustic and different. It’s not a hotel - the pictures posted are accurate. Worth the money and the host is very friendly.

This was one of our favorite VRBO’s. The wildlife surrounding the area was amazing. The cabin was very clean, charming and very much what you would expect by staying in a cabin in the woods. It was so quiet. At first I thought not having AC was going to be an issue, but it gets so cool at night that wasn't an issue at all. Having coffee on the front porch watching the deer within 5 feet from me was awesome. And my husband even found a black bear on the walking trail directly behind the cabin. This was also the easiest check in/check out. Cant wait to book here again!

The cabin was exactly as advertised and perfect for our family. It is on a great location for doing all of the attractions around Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs and still being at an out of the way cabin up in the woods. I would recommend this cabin to a friend.

Our family had a great vacation. The cabins location was perfect for the attractions we went to. (Garden of the gods, pikes peak, North Pole, Cheyenne zoo). We cooked our meals at the cabin which had everything we needed. There is a grocery store a few minutes away in woodland park. Highly recommended place to stay. Would definitely stay here again. Owner was a pleasure to deal with.

Fun place, loved the screened in porch, very relaxing and you can hear the falls which adds to the ambiance. Clean and well stocked, bed was comfortable. Close to restaurants and stores if you need anything. Had a great time and will be back again.

Had a great stay. Cabin was a bit rustic outside but inside was neat & tidy. My daughter & 10 year old grandson stayed two nights and loved the location. The hiking trail out the back door was convenient as were the trails up the road. I think my chocolate lab had the best time of all! We’ll be back!

Very close to C.S. and Pikes Peak. Lots of deer and song birds. would really like to stay again. Lots of room. Screened in front patio. No bug issues at all.

The cabin was just awesome & the history behind it made it that much better, we hope it stays in the family so that we can rent/visit it for many years!

This place was exactly what we needed. Away from all the noise of everyday life. The porch was my favorite place, listening to the waterfall and sounds of nature. It's close enough to town to get supplies and a short drive to area attractions. The trails were inviting, we hiked more than I thought we could or would. Love this place!!

We had a great time at the cabin.
Neighborhood was nice.
Close to activities and town to get supplies.
David was so patient and answered every question we had. We got there early and was lucky enough to meet him and his partner. Pictures on website is outdated. Does not do it justice.
I would submit pics if I could.

This area this cabin is in offered the quiet seclusion my family was looking for. Yet, it is only 30 minutes from both downtown Colorado Springs or the nice mountain town of Woodland Park.
The cabin itself is quaint and comfortable. It’s a great combination of old and new, with the rustic floors and wooden screen doors along with a tankless water heater and fast Internet.
The owner is friendly and helpful.
We would definitely stay here again.

We love this homey cabin...we have stayed in it twice now. It's a peaceful, perfect location and just wonderful for our family of 5. I love hearing the waterfall and being close to so many trails, but being secluded from the hustle and bustle of a big city. Highly recommend!

Let’s be honest. Cabin is very old and outdated. With that being said, it seems to all work. Sitting on the porch listening to the stream is very relaxing. Easy access to hiking trail.

We had a great hiking weekend staying at this cabin. It was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved how close it was to hiking trails (there's even one right out the back door!), and we spent every night watching deer from the front porch. Also convenient to grocery stores and restaurants just up the highway. Thank you, David!

Beautiful location nestled in the woods down a quiet road. Everything about the property was great except that the floors were a little dirty. Would stay again (but would email ahead of time to request spot clean of the floors)

Perfect location! The cabin is in a great place with hiking trails all around. It is 10 minutes from the local grocery stores, Pikes Peak, Dinosaur Museum, and other attractions. This was a family vacation we were needing to get away from it all. Also very pet friendly since we brought our dog along too! We will be definitely staying again next year.
