Owner was very nice and responded quick. All items were intact and clean. Would love to stay again!

Check in was easy, the house was clean, loved the hot tub. Super convenient location for skiing at Northstar. The house says sleeps 16 but honestly there’s room for more if you use all the pullout couches, etc.

The property overall is very amazing and the photos do not do it justice! There was so much space, even some of the bunk beds had an extra bed to pull out which was nice! There is a whole separate game room downstairs with a pool table, air hockey table, fooseball, & even a piano! My friends & I really enjoyed our stay for the entire weekend because of homey and fun the space was, and how close it is to Northstar resort (only 10 min)! Only downside was there were some basic things missing from the kitchen like aluminum foil and having enough trash bags, but that’s minor.
Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin, would love to come back for sure in the near future :)

Our group had a great time in the house. It was clean, tons of space and the hot tub was great. Would definitely stay again and it’s right between northstar and kings beach so perfect spot.
4.7
My group of friends had a great stay. The sound insulation is poor so if a subset of your group stays up late talking it may be loud in the bedrooms. The beds and pillows are also not the most comfortable. But overall, it met our needs and we were very happy.

We had a group of 15 stay for a ski weekend and it was perfect! Everyone had a bed and the pool and hot tub were awesome!! Also the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies. Would definitely stay again

Vijay’s cabin is very nice! It’s much nicer and more spacious than the pictures made it look. Playing billiards in the game room was super fun and the hot tub was was prefect after a long day on the slopes

Overall we had a great stay. Perfect location for families!! The house was well furnished with everything we needed and the game room and hot tub were both a hit. The bunk beds in two rooms were wonderful and allowed us to keep all individual families together. There seems to be a miscommunication between the owner and the cleaning company as I’ve read it on other reviews as well. Owner says check in is at 3pm and when we arrived at 3 the cleaning crew was still there and said that they’re told they have until 5pm. Wasn’t a major issue for us, they were done with the game room and they allowed us to hang out in there until they were finished. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

Pathetically, no heat in Dec? Give me a break. Propery shouldn't be rented.

It is a very cozy house, where the whole family felt comfortable. Enough space for adults and children, the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathrooms clean and big. And you have beautiful places nearby that you can visit such as King Beach, Northstar Village; (there is a gondola, bicycles to go to the mountain, food, shops to buy). Sand Harbor and Secret Harbor is close to the house. Fully recommended for your family vacation. The only detail was that we couldn't use to watch the television programs in the spare time that we were at home. But everything else is in perfect condition

Was very cozy and close to the lake.

This is my second time staying at Vijay’s property, we come with the same group every summer! Place is just as shown. Great for large groups, plenty of space and beds for all, great location too. A few minutes from kings beach, not far from truckee. Hot tub is awesome and bathrooms are redone. Game room is a great bonus space.
4.7
The house is great and fit the needs of our 3 families. The house is a short 5 min drive to King's Beach and there are hiking trails right from the backyard. I gave it four stars because they didn't list a grill, when in fact they have a charcoal grill and a propane grill (although no propane). Also we weren't able to watch movies on the living room and game room tv's. No streaming system would work, or even the dvd players. Would have been nice to put a movie on for kids at night.

This home was perfect for our family trip. Our favorite beach, Sand Harbor was only 30mins away. The property is in a great location and very quiet street. The hot tub and game room are definitely a plus. However, the house does need a little more cleaning. We found multiple spider webs everywhere and the game room needs some repairs and there is no projector in the game room as shown in the pictures.
4.7
We had a great time. Place was plenty big for the family. The game room was such a bonus!

Great place to stay! Great sleeping accomodations for our family. The kids loved the game room and hot tub area. Loved the master suite, didn't hear any noise from the downstairs. Loved it!
4.7
I stayed at the property with 10 other friends in honor of our good buddy saying bye to bachelorhood. The place does not disappoint one bit! There is so much space to lounge around. The game room had us all competing like kids in an arcade fighting epic battles on the pool table and foosball. The jacuzzi was so relaxing and melted away any soreness we had from mountain biking and hiking. The kitchen is fully stocked with a wide assortment of cooking utensils and pots and pans. Vijay, the property manager, was very receptive to emails prior to our arrival, but we were not able to reach him during our stay. He informed us he was out traveling, so this is not a slight towards him. Everyone deserves time off. And if you’re looking for great accommodations on your time off, book this property.

This was one of the best lodges I've been to. It felt so cozy and family friendly right next to everything also. I would of loved to stay longer. Would love to come back and just relax in the lodge again

House was great for two families with young kids and tweens. Close to North Star. Beds were comfy, kitchen was great. The hot tub was clean and nice. The internet was really spotty and the heater wasn’t working so the owner had space heaters in each room. Once we got those at the right temps it warmed up. Great communication with the owner when we almost got snowed in on our last morning. Overall, a great stay!

House was lovely, perfect amount of entertainment for our group, and was very close to Northstar. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to rate this higher but there were just too many things wrong with this place to do that. That being said, let me state that the owner was extremely easy to communicate with and replied quickly even though they weren’t the replies we wanted. We were hoping for an early check-in (before the 3pm stated in the contract)and he said it depended on if the cleaners were done as there were tenants leaving that morning (understandable) but to go by around 1 or 2 and see. We went at 1:30 and there were 3 cleaners eating their lunch at the dining room table and all supplies still in the garage. They had microwaved their food and it reeked throughout the house. They jumped up and put their food away and told me it would be about 3 hours before the house was clean. That is way past the check in time. They should have started earlier (check out was 10am) and eaten after they were done. I sent the owner a message and he told me he would contact them and they would be done soon. Gave me the cleaning service phone number as well but it’s not our responsibility to call them. We went by at 3:15 and they still weren’t done., finally leaving at 3:45. They hadn’t started the dishwasher but I told them we would do it. I was hoping the pictures online were just so dark because of the camera used to take them but the house is really really dark with very weak light bulbs. The hot tub had been emptied and cleaned so it wasn’t hot until the next day. The sliding door out to the hot tub was off the track and hard to open, blinds in the game room fall off when opened, screen door is torn, front hall closet doors were broken and off the track, the air hockey game has broken plastic nets where the puck goes in and has a screw sticking up where the plastic nets should be. Very dangerous for anyone to play it. Many steps have a loose top strip on them, making it a trip/safety hazard. No extra towels, no shampoos or shower soaps, tv remote missing the battery cover. So many things that could easily be fixed to make it a much better place. Very disappointed.

We all enjoyed the nice , comfortable cabin, the theater/game room and outside activities, a very good time for making memories

The house was big enough for 16 people, but lots of stuff did not work as it should. 13 burned out light bulbs or bad switches. Sliding door in master had no screen and could not open easily, curtain is falling off the rod. Front porch is great, but no chairs to set and enjoy the view. Why is there not a propane BBQ? Charcoal is banned in Tahoe. I have more if the owner wants to talk, please call me.

This property was perfect for our family and friends. The location was excellent for golfing rafting and hanging out at Kings Beach. House has plenty of rooms and beds. Other than an uninvited Bear scavenging through one of the unlocked cars, everybody had a great experience! A big thank you to the homeowners for allowing us to share their home for weekend!

Large house with a game room for the kids to hang out and play games and watch Tv. 6 adults and 6 kids (ranging from 12 to 2 years old) fit comfortably in this large house. The kids favorite game was to play hide and seek because the house was so big. The jacuzzi was perfect to relax after a long ski day. It is about a 10 min drive to Northstar and 30 min drive to Palisades.
We had a great time and we hope to stay again and make this an annual trip. Thank you

We had 2 adults and 7 teens in Tahoe for a few days to ski. This home was the perfect Basecamp. We chose to drive 18 miles to Mt Rose but could have easily driven to Alpine or NorthStar, which is only a couple miles away. We enjoyed eating altogether at the large dining table, and played cards there as well. The teens loved the downstairs game room and adjacent hot tub, leaving the cozy upstairs living room to the adults. The master bedroom is spacious with a chair to read in the sunny front windows. With a little care, we were able to park a full sized truck and an suv in the driveway. There is plenty of room in the garage as well.
The kitchen has modern appliances. The large refrigerator is big enough for a large take and bake pizza. The gas stove works great and there are plenty of pots and pans, cutting boards and knives to do some serious cooking. We chose to carry in from some of the local restaurants only 1-2 miles away in Kings Beach. I would highly recommend this as a group destination for multiple families, groups of friends, or a family reunion. There are beautiful but slippery wood stairs inside, with a few steps down and a few steps up to one bedroom and a full flight down to the other 3 bedrooms and the game room so take care on the steps for those less agile. The ample front closet is great for damp boots and coats after winter fun.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other groups.

For our trip this year we had 12 people in our group. Size of house was well enough to accommodate our group. Location was excellent for going snowboarding at northstar. Few things that could improve were; kitchenware was not sufficient for cooking for a lot of people, cell service is very spotty and wifi was not working. In order to use cell phone I would have to wait til I have service or drive away to a place where there is. Jets in jacuzzi not working properly, sofa bed broken, ice patch by front door. Some of us slipped and almost fell. And the lights above dining room table was very dusty. For me biggest thing was the cell service and wifi. Also the ice patch by front door. That is a safety hazard to me. All in all it was a great place. Just needs some maintenance. I would definitely stay there again so long the wifi works. I'm sure there is not much you can do about cell service.

Place was nice and clean. Very close to northstar! Vijay was very attentive and answered all our questions. Great place,
Would stay here again.

The house fit a lot of people and the bathrooms were roomy, but the wifi never worked (which was a pretty significant issue for our group)

nice place for skiing stay

The house was in need of updating and walls need paint. There were no hot pads for cooking. The hot tub that we were all looking forward to was dirty and not full of water only partially. Lights were not working because if missing knobs to turn them on. Found someone else’s socks in the bed. The house itself has great potential but someone needs to be more on top of the cleaning and updating.

I traveled here on a bachelor party with fifteen friends. We found the house to be as advertised and perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking supplies we needed. The hot tub was clean, full, and worked beautifully. We did not use the entertainment system in the basement but it looked great. The pool table, foosball table, and air hockey tables all worked well. We found the beds to be comfortable. The house is on the end of a residential road that backs up to a nice trail to go for walks on; we even saw a bear while there! Communication with Vijay was easy and he let us check in early. In general I would describe our stay as excellent and would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We would definitely stay there again.

The home fit our family nicely and was in a great location. The property owner was incredibly helpful when we needed assistance.
