About this house rental
Need a house for a large family get together or vacation - or perhaps two families. This new custom home completed in June, 2017 with 2 car garage, massive wraparound deck, and 100' of lakefront is perfect for you.
From the moment you walk into the house you'll be amazed at the breath-taking views of Belleau Lake through 2 stories of windows. The first floor boasts a huge open living area that spans the width of the house with large Roku-ready flat screen TV (including live TV on the YouTube TV app and Netflix). The custom kitchen includes quartz countertops, cabinet space galore, and all the tools and gadgets you need to prepare gourmet meals, with two Weber grills on the deck as well. There's even a stocked spice cabinet. Off the kitchen is a pantry and a separate laundry room. And for the crowd, there's a custom farmers table that can seat 10 comfortably (the island also has seating for 3). Also off the kitchen is a bath with huge shower, and a bedroom with a queen size bed.
The second floor has an en-suite master bedroom overlooking the lake, with dual sinks in the custom vanity, queen bed, and walk-in closet. Two more bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor - one with queen bed, the other with 2 twin beds. The bedrooms all open up to the 2nd floor living area with beautiful views of the lake from the overlooking balcony. There's also another full bath.
The lower level boasts an additional bedroom with a king size bed. There's also an additional bunk room with two sets of bunkbeds, including a full size bed in one of the bottom bunks. Another full bath is located on this level, as well as another huge living area with walkout to the lake. Add a big screen TV with X-Box 360 Kinect and lots of games, air hockey table, and an area set aside for the all-important card game and you have plenty of activities to keep busy - or just grab a lounge chair and relax on the deck or by the water.
For water fun, there are two kayaks, two canoes, and two paddleboats available for your pleasure. There are plenty of life jackets, as well as a few fishing rods and water toys in the lower level closet. Lakefront, there is a 24' dock for fishing, swimming, or just plain relaxing. The sandy beach area has plenty of seating around the fire pit (firewood included). In the driveway, you will find a mobile basketball hoop for some additional fun, just bring a ball..
Nearby there are some great restaurants, outlet shopping, local shops and grocery stores. For outdoor activities there's golf, horseback riding, water parks, canoeing and tubing, hiking, skiing, ice skating, and snowmobiling.
Again, this is a brand new home. Please treat it as you would want your own home to be treated. All linens and towels, including beach towels, are supplied, so the only things you need to bring are your food and clothes.

This was a family vacation. Grandparents, children and grandchildren. Everyone loved the space. Everything we needed was there. The owners were very accommodating to what ever we may have needed. Very spacious and very easy for everyone to enjoy. The owners were awesome to work with.

The whole family had a great time at this beautiful lake house! Plenty of room for 11 of us and activities for all ages! We made dinner every night in the beautiful well equipped kitchen and then fires and smores by the fire pit afterwards.The lake was beautiful and so relaxing. Bill and his son Jason were very responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns we had during the week. We all loved our vacation and looking forward to coming back again next summer!

This was our third time renting this home for our vacation. We are a family of 15 adults. This house is just perfect for our large family. All of the bedrooms are well-appointed. Everyone gets to have a nice bedroom. East Wakefield is the perfect spot for a fall getaway. The lake is beautiful and the host is very helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend and hope to return soon!

The house and property are wonderful. The house has three living/sitting areas on three floors. Perfect for large families. The house was one of the best equipped homes we have been in. Having use of the kayaks, paddle boats, float pad, and canoes was such a great extra bonus. Finding a house on a lake with a sandy beach entrance is nearly impossible. Great views, quiet setting. Lovely evenings around the fire pit. Bill was wonderful to deal with. We hope to go back again!

We had a wonderful experience renting this property! The house is fully equipped with everything you could think of. Bill is considerate, welcoming, and very kind.The kitchen had it all and there was toys, and baby gear which was awesome!We had plenty of space to spread out .We went to King Pine and did some skiing and tubing... Bill was great, calles to make sure we were all set. The home was gorgeous, on the lake. Views were amazing. large open concept met all 14 peoples needs without being on top of each other for sleeping and eating. Truly pack your bags and go. Had everything there but food. Hannafords 15 minutes away. Nice area to walk around and sight see some of the lake. Kayaks were convenient and plenty of life vests.Fire pit put to good use since it was October. Lots of Smores were done. We hope to be able to go back next year. Highly recommend for large groups or those looking for lake life.

We planned a quick getaway with our kids and one other family and were so happy that this house worked out. It had everything we needed and Bill was so pleasant and helpful! The kids did everything under the sun - swimming, fishing, kayaks, paddle boats, bike rides, movie under the stars, built sand castles, and lots more. They had the best time! The house is gorgeous and so clean and FULLY stocked! The check in and out process was very easy. We cannot wait to come back next summer!

Our group of 8 friends just enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Bill's lake house. This was the 15th year of our annual Fall weekend getaway. We have stayed in many homes in the New England area. Bill was wonderful to deal with. He was very friendly and answered any questions we had promptly. He checked in on us the night of our arrival to see if everything was OK and if we had any questions. The organization, attention to detail, comfy beds and soft towels are just a few of the amenities we enjoyed. We relaxed on the deck, kayaked and used the paddle boats. While there was the option for outdoor movie night, we just enjoyed laughter and conversation in the comfy family room. We had great pizza from The Knotty Pine and a delicious lunch at Poor People's Pub that Bill recommended. Without hesitation, I would recommend staying at this beautiful lake house for a wonderful getaway. Bill, thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us.

This home is the perfect place for a family vacation! I just love this property for so many reasons! The lakeside location is amazing and the house has every amenity you might need. This is the second summer in a row that my family (12 of us this year) rented from Bill and he is a pleasure to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed our week on the lake and did not have to leave the property once, nor did we even want to......we spent our days relaxing, swimming, fishing, boating (we brought our 18' bass boat), playing games and sitting around the fire pit at night. The sunrises are amazing, I recommend waking up early and taking one in. The beauty of this house is that it is thoughtfully and functionally laid out to accommodate large groups with 4 full baths, 6 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and plenty of living space. We had 7 young adults (cousins) in the lower level which gave them their own space to hang together......I spent most of my time on the deck with either a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. It was truly a very relaxing week and we cannot wait to return.

Met the cleaning crew on the way in. Everything was as advertised. Were particularly impressed with how well the property was furnished. Kids loved the dock and all the tubes, floaties, kayaks, canoe and paddleboat. Highly recommended for a large group. We had 14.

This was our 2nd year renting this property. We absolutely love it!! The house has plenty of room for our party of 13. It's well equiped with everything you could possibly need. The beach and yard are fantastic, wish great fishing off the dock. Bill has been wonderful! Couldn't ask for a better place for our family vacation. Looking forward to it again next year. This is a beautiful house with a nice private sandy beach, situated on a quiet lake.
The house is fully stocked with all the necessities to cook and serve our large group.
We stayed with another family of six for a total of twelve, there were enough beds for all to have their own bed, nobody had to share a bed or sleep on a sofa or cot.
The kids had a great time on the lake fishing, boating and swimming.
There are plenty of game options and there was never a dull moment.
The ability to setup a movie projector and screen on the deck for an outdoor movie night was an added bonus.
Bill is a wonderful host, he called the first day to make sure we had no problems and again a couple of days later to check if we had any questions or concerns. I got the feeling he was truly concerned about making sure we had a great time while staying at his home.
I would highly recommend spending some time at this house.
