We love this place and would like to return. For the price and location, it works great. It was only myself, my husband, and our dog while moving our daughter back into the dorms. There was a lot of space that would be perfect for a family or even two. Although we didn't need all of the space, we spent most of our time in the cozy living room. The couches were comfortable. The kitchen was just right with a nice size fridge dishes, and table. The bathroom was also great because it was large and updated with everything working great. There have been issues in other older houses with everything so old that water pressure is low, sinks leak, etc... This was not the case here. It was the antique feel and look, with a unique style - but everything working and without the worry that the floor or ceiling might fall through. There were only two things we didn't like that would be amazing if they fixed. The biggest is the lack of air conditioning. I know it's common in Flagstaff not to have a/c. But it was reallllly uncomfortable in this house during the day in August. Even when opening windows at night to let cool air in - it gets too hot during the day.
If they installed just one window unit in the living room, it wouldn't cost that much, and would provide relief from the heat in one room during the day. That would have made the trip way nicer for us. The other is the front patio. It was completely overgrown. If they had someone clean that up, it would be great.

Found this gem when trying to find a house within walking distance to NAU. Listing photos are accurate but we were surprised with the amount of space when we arrived. Lots of room and very comfortable. We loved that we could walk to the campus and all of our favorite coffee and restaurant spots. Will definitely book again.

We had a great time, some skiing and some just enjoying the snow and cold with walks. Very comfortable and host was very helpful with road conditions, checking for us multiple times. We did have trouble with the internet but that was due to the storm that had just passed through.

I booked this place since it was downtown, big enough to fit my family, and a nice patio so we can bbq. When we got there the neighbors dog was in the patio and it was full of weeds. You open the gate, and they smack you in the face. There isn’t any AC, so it got really hot in the rooms at night even with the windows open. Definitely not ADA friendly, so if you have someone who is, this is not the place to go to. Overall, it was a cute home, just wish we could have enjoyed being outside on the patio area so we could have bbq’d and had fresh air.

I wasn’t sure at first. It was a random connected house with a dark and an awkward bathroom but clean and decorated very nice. Weed removal would be nice for us and dogs. More lighting in bathroom as well. But it did have character. Location is great but there is also a homeless mission down the street and we had a lady sleeping for a day outside the gate. You can tell someone is trying to make it as nice as possible for guests. It was nice enough for our needs at the time.

We loved our stay here. It was so close to hiking and also to drowntown flagstaff. The house was comfortable and had everything needed to make meals (we did thanksgiving here!) and relax. The gas fireplace kept the house nice and warm and the decorations were charming.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We took our granddaughters to the NPX. This was the perfect spot for our family to stay so the young adults in the group could hit all the fun party spots with just a short (safe) walk. While the old folks (me) could stay back and not worry about them driving. The bedrooms are surprisingly quiet considering all the nightlife nearby. A fire pit in the courtyard would be a great touch but I can understand why they don’t have one. Overall we loved our choice.

The location of this home is great! We didn’t need our car at all. The home became better as the weekend went on and we figured out everything. It was comfortable and big enough for 6 although we did not have any meals there (except breakfast) thank you !

The location was great and easy to get to everything but somewhat loud due to the location. It was very warm and there weren’t any screens on the windows so we couldn’t get any cross ventilation, especially at night and only a few fans.

Perfect location!! Courtyard is nice when you're hanging at the house and everything downtown has to offer is walkable from the house!

Cute historic house has comfortable living room, 3 bedrooms with plenty of bed space for 10 (2 sets of bunkbeds), and a large dine-in kitchen. Only 1 bathroom, but it's spacious and has excellent hot water. Nice front yard area for al fresco dining. Easy walk to nightlife and restaurants in Flagstaff and NAU. You hear the trains rumble by regularly--as everyone else in central Flagstaff does! Some bar music noise at night, but restaurant immediately behind seems closed now. Overall, great place to stay while visiting NAU or Flagstaff!

My husband and I took our college aged daughter, high school aged son and two small dogs to stay for the long Memorial Day weekend. This house accommodated us all perfectly. The space itself is charming and well stocked with anything a person might need. Each kid had their own room, so plenty of privacy. The yard is fenced, which worked well for the dogs. Also, most nearby restaurants allowed dogs on the patio. Our kids seemed to really enjoy the lively nighttime atmosphere and my husband and I liked being able to walk to breakfast or a cup of coffee. Restaurants, bars, and shops are all a short distance from this house. There is also a climbing gym across the street and a yoga studio on the block. I went to yoga there one morning and it was a fun, challenging class. Also, the check-in, check-out process was easy and communication seemed simple with the owners. Without question we would stay here again. Thank you so much, Nik and Gina!

Best for adults since so near to busy bar district. Late night chatter from passing pedestrians late at night.

The house was PERFECT for everything we wanted and did. Centered right in downtown Flagstaff and a walk away from everything (shops, restaurants, sight seeing, etc.). Grand Canyon (1.5 hours), Sedona (1 hour) and Vegas (3.5 hours). Kitchen had everything we needed and bedrooms were perfect. I really am looking for something constructive to say to help future renters, but EVERYTHING was there that we needed. Thanks to the owners for a WONDERFUL stay!!!

This property is literally in the heart of downtown Flagstaff. We did not have to get in our vehicle once. Although there was no central heat, the fireplace and space heaters were sufficient to warm the house. All around great stay!

This is our 3rd time visiting this house. We love the location - lots of shops and restaurants around the corner. House is perfect for our family - 4 kids. Plenty of seating in the living area, bunk beds, lots of games. Outdoor patio is great. We plan on coming back again next year.

My son and nephew attend NAU. We’ve stayed in hotels in the past. This home was so close to everything. We walked around downtown and just had a really special time with the boys.

Nik and Gina are super helpful and the house is perfectly cozy in the best location downtown.
