We loved our stay over Labor Day weekend. Beds were clean and comfortable, and the entire house was cute, bright and beautiful. Air conditioning and laundry were great to have and the kitchen was well appointed. Excellent communication with the owners!

Loved the layout of the cottage. It’s perfect for experiencing family togetherness.

My two sons, my daughter-in-law, my wife, and I, and a dog decided a year ago to vacation together on Cape Cod this summer. After searching for a property listing, we settled on this cottage. It was everything we had hoped it would be. There is plenty of space, including an outdoor sitting area. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. There was great communication between the owner and myself during the visit. It is close to several beaches and on a street without any traffic. I would give it my highest recommendation and would not hesitate to stay there again in the coming years.

The space is cute with the upstairs loft just right for our teen sisters (stairs would be too steep for older adults). Very well stocked kitchen. Both indoor and outdoor showers which was welcome after our beach days. And convenient to beaches, restaurants and markets.

My friends and I loved staying at Starfish Cottage! Great location, Aruna was incredibly sweet and helpful, we had no complaints. Would definitely come back!

This stay at Starfish Cottage was fantastic! Easy check in process and the most thorough. I didn’t have a ton of questions and Aruna was extremely helpful. When we did have some troubles with the fire pit, Aruna answered immediately and then sent her husband over early the next day to fix it. We were so impressed!
The location was amazing. Easy walk to 3 different beaches. We went to Inman St mostly though and it was small, not crowded, and clean water/sand. Aruna also has beach chairs, bikes, wagon for beach equipment, noodles, etc.
The AC was A+ during this hot time as well. We forgot the house only had a charcoal grill but we figured it out and it was a learning moment with the family! lol
Mosquitos are kicking in this area so make sure to use the bug spray the host provides :)
Most importantly: I brought my 6 month old puppy with us. We brought our own couch covers, bed, etc., and she thrived in the house AND lovely backyard. However, just a reminder that it’s not completely fenced in and there’s plenty of bunnies around….so tie your pup up on a long leash to the picnic table and you should be fine lol
There is a tiny home basically 5 steps from the fire pit but we rarely saw the guests in there and it wasn’t a bother at all :)
Just a reminder that this is a beach cottage and not a modern mansion. There will be dust/sand and the decor matches the beach vibes!
We loved it here and will definitely come back :)

We had a great time at this house, even though it was the off-season (March) with cold/windy/rainy weather. We cooked, played games, walked, hiked, and rode the bikes.
The house is an easy/short walk to the beach and into town. An easy two miles up the street is the Cape Cod Rail Trail.
We were three, but the house easily accommodates a family of five with two bedrooms on the first floor and two twin beds in the attic bedroom.

The Cottage had all the accommodations needed for our vacation on the Cape. Plenty of room in the house for the five adults and two young kids, well stocked with the everyday necessities. Close to the beaches, restaurants, shops and of course ice cream. Backyard well furnished with chairs, fire pit, hammock and outdoor shower. Quiet area to spend a relaxing week.

We had a blast at Starfish cottage! Two couples and two kids (ages 9 & 12) who absolutely loved sleeping upstairs in the loft. This place is fully stocked for all your beach vacation needs. Everything comes as advertised and the location is walking distance to anything you’d need in Dennis Port. The outdoor shower make for a stellar touch as well.

My family had a wonderful, relaxing vacation at Starfish Cottage. We enjoyed excursions either walking to the beach or riding on the bikes provided for our pleasure. The weather was perfect allowing us to take advantage of the fire pit and hammock in the backyard. The oversized picnic table was was a great place to enjoy food, family and long conversations into the night. We all had a fantastic time and hopefully we can return soon.
Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. ❤️

The cottage was cute, clean. Not a fan of plastic bowls and plates. The bed frames need to be updated. MA weather is on the dam side, there were 2 days of rain during our stay; the cottage feels dam. Over all, we enjoyed and made the best vacation for the rest of our week in MA.

Great little spot to spend the long Mother’s Day weekend with the family. Secluded and private but still close to the main routes of travel and the water.
We would love to return in the future!

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the cape for four adults and a couple of kids. Well represented by the pictures, with everything clean when we arrived. The hosts are great, easy to reach and very nice. The backyard really feels like you're out in the woods.

We enjoyed our stay.
The home is situated on a dead-end street. Quite quiet, except for the occasional loud guests at the inn behind the property.
The home itself is wonderful. Kitchen is stocked, comfortable beds, couches, and chairs. Aruna is a high-quality host.
10 min walk to the beach. Close to the shops of Dennis Port. GG

The starfish cottage was great for our group of 3 (plus dog). Perfect location to show 2 West Coast visitors a variety of Cape towns and activities. Aruna was super helpful, and provided a list of places to eat and things to do. We would definitely return to this location.

Mouse, Ants, Clogged Toilet Oh My!! When we first pulled up to the house I was shocked I had just paid seven grand for a week for this "camp ground" setting. The property is on a sandy hill, looks run down, no grass and across the street there is a house in disrepair with siding a trim missing from around the house and a front yard full of weeds. Worse of all there is another rental property in the backyard. There is no privacy as the front door of this other rental unit looks right into the backyard of this place. The firepit and outdoor shower are in full view of the "neighbors". We were very excited for our return to The Cape for outdoor showers and nightly firepits. Well we did one of each as we were the show for the other unit. I would characterize the area as a bit dumpy or camp grounds like. It was a 15 min walk to "downtown" and 15 min walk to a end of street beach - the width of the street. If you wanted a wider beach it was more of a 30 min walk. We arrived just after 7pm on Sunday night and had the impression I just detailed above. I reached out to the owner, she responded very quickly to my request for a reduction/refund of fees. She did offer me a refund for all nights I hadn't stayed yet but gave me until 10 am the next morning to be out of the place. Now finding a new rental in 15 hours in Aug on the Cape is an impossible task so we had to stay and I was worried if I pushed any harder that we would be out on the street so I didn't say another word. However; it was a bit off-putting to be told how good the ratings are and if you don't like it get out in 15 hours. So we kept our mouth shut and over the next week experienced a ruined Cape Cod vacation and son drop off at college. Over the week we then got to experience a clogged toilet where we were now waiting for a handyman to come and fix it (again the owner responded very quickly). Then I ran the dishwasher and quickly after the kitchen counters were covered in ants. The kicker was on Sunday when I came face to face with a mouse that ran to the oven for cover. The entire family packed up on Sunday at 3pm and left a day early. Worse Family Vacation Experience Ever!! Just so there are positives, the owner had beach chairs, and bikes, and the house was themed nicely. She was quick to respond again

This house is wonderful, has everything you need, very clean, updated, and cozy. It has a great backyard. It is close to beaches and great restaurants. The property manager, Aruna is so helpful - answers questions quickly. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly.

We really enjoyed staying at Starfish. The cottage was cute and the decor was perfectly themed. The location was amazing and the host provided us with a comprehensive list of things to do in the area.

We were able to walk to beach, restaurants, ice cream. Park nearby with tennis and wide paths for walking. Located on a quiet dead end street. House was well stocked with almost anything you would need. Backyard has nice fire pit and large picnic table. Beds were ok. There were 5 of us. Would have liked more comfortable seating in the living room. Host was quick to respond to any of my questions. Would stay again!

Small gem at the end of a quite road. Aruna the owner of the home was super organized with details accommodations and suggestions. We used the fire pit played games and walked the Dennis beaches. The kids did parasailing and jet skiing . They rode the bikes and walked to ice cream Highly Recommend for relaxing and a quite trip.

This was our second time staying at the Starfish Cottage and it was just as perfect as the first! Such a beautiful home and so close to so many great places for my family. Aruna is such a wonderful host. We’ll be back!

Exactly as listed. The cottage was perfect for my husband and I and our baby with room to spare. The home and yard were lovely to spend time in with some local cousins. The location was excellent, easy walking distance to beaches, a park and plenty of food. Great and friendly correspondence with the owner. The only detail that made this a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star were the comfort level of the bed mattresses.
2.5 / 5.0
Our experience at Starfish Cottage was exactly what we’d hoped for. Very clean, pretty and comfortable. The owner added so many thoughtful touches, such as a beach cart and chairs, 4 bikes, a fire pit, and many books and games for the occasional rainy day. Great location, too - easy walk to town and to beaches. And the owner was very responsive when we had a question. We will definitely return or rent from this owner again.

This was a perfect home base for a busy weekend. Cute as a button. Easy to find, nicely decorated, and well equipped. The owner was responsive and communicative but never intrusive. The sparkling fairy lights over the mantel and soft music playing in the kitchen were a wonderful greeting!

This cottage was close to everything for first-time Cape explorers! We had a car for dinners out, but we were able to walk for coffee and to the cute beach nearby. The cottage was clean, and our family loved the games provided for a rainy day. Thank you! We hope to be back to this property or another one of yours soon!

I visited Starfish Cottage with my daughter, who has severe disabilities, and our golden retriever. The cottage was amazingly comfortable. Everything inside appeared new, including the very comfortable mattresses and the large, luxury washer dryer. There were lovely touches everywhere I looked, like little twinkly lights adorning the fireplace. I would definitely recommend a relaxing stay at Starfish Cottage!

My two sisters myself and our daughters do a mother-daughter weekend every year. This year we chose to stay at the starfish Cottage and were more than pleased with our decision. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay using the fire pit area as it was a beautiful weekend when we did have a question about the fire pit I sent a message to the owner and she responded immediately. The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated with plenty of room for six of us. I would definitely recommend and stay at this property again.

My family of four was very comfortable as the cottage was very clean, cozy and well equipped to meet our needs. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the outside amenities.
