About this apartment rental

This is a one level (no stairs) condo located in Avalon at Bahia Vista Condo Complex. Our condo has 2 bedrooms each with king beds and 2 bathrooms (one with tub and shower and one with shower only). For the cool winter stays, we have a wood burning fireplace. Our condo is located on the top third floor of complex and has easy elevator access. Sleeps 6 comfortably.

We offer a two night minimum; however if you desire a one night we can see if we can accommodate you ( a one night only will have an increased stay of 150.00 more a night)

We completely remodeled our condo and it has vaulted ceiling and an airy open concept. Enjoy Beautiful views of trees and hillsides and partial ocean views off small balcony.
Additional amenities include Free WIFI, a large Smart TV in the living room and another Smart TV in the Master bedroom. Bahia Vista is one of the few complexes in Avalon that has a private "Bahia Guest" pool and jacuzzi with a garden setting. The is a refundable $80.00 pool /towel key deposit to be paid to manager via venmo or zelle. NOTE: During the off season Labor Day to memorial Day- te pool and jacuzzi is ONLY heated on weekends.

The location of the condo is on the third floor at the South end of the complex where there is little "pool noise" and little to no foot traffic. A quiet oasis that is within walking distance to all the action Avalon has to offer (dining, golfing, boating, snorkeling sight-seeing Tours and more.

What a time we had at this amazing complex. Firstly I have to state that as a family of business owners, it is so difficult to actually get away. Even when we do, there’s always work related issues lingering and really preventing that feeling of “vacation.” Our stay here (6 days) was such a realization and epiphany that getting away is a possibility and much needed. This condo/apartment was absolutely perfect. We had 4 adults and 3 kids who all fit perfectly. It was hot in Catalina, and most locations don’t have an A/C units, but this place did and accommodated perfectly. The full kitchen is outfitted with everything needed. Everything is within walking distance, so if you had to run up the street for supplies, you’ll be good to go. The pool and jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. After full days of fun in the sun, the pool and jacuzzi just made it all the better. The community in the complex were so friendly, and just added to the whole package for us. The manager Allison, is by far the most helpful and most communicative. If you need anything, I know I can say she will get it done for you. We wanted to stay another day- boom, she made it happen. We forgot our kids’s blankets (parents you know the horror of forgetting that ONE SPECIAL ITEM) Allison shipped them home for us. She is the reason we are forever staying at this location. You won’t regret your stay- it is worth every penny.

We all enjoyed our stay in Avalon in this cute condo. Everything was so easy and smooth, with great responsiveness when we had a question. It was hot when we stayed and having the one air conditioner in the master bedroom was a nice relief from the heat. Thank you!

The place is just as described and is clean. Property manager is communicative and check in is super easy. The place is spacious with plenty of room for the whole family. One suggestion to make the place even better is to have higher quality shampoo and conditioner.

Nice comfortable stay in Avalon. Walkable from the ferry and to the beaches (even my parents in their 80’s were able to walk with their wheeled baggage) and to the Casino. Felt safe. Great pool and hot tub (main reason we chose the location). There is a bit of road traffic outside the window as this street is along one of the golf cart tour routes. AC unit only in the master bedroom. Definitely would stay here again in the future!

We had great time at this condo. The location was great. We didn't use the pull out sofa bed because the coffee table was too big and heavy to move. So one of us slept on the main bedroom sofa. I would definitely stay here again.

Communication was great with the PM Allison. She graciously let us check out late to align with our ferry time. We stayed for the Catalina Wine Mixer which was at the beach club. A bit of a far walk to the beach club but central to the ferry, shops, restaurants, etc. The unit was clean and well furnished. Would stay again!

It began with demanding trash removal and then asked my brother for a tip….as a rental property owner - I know better and would never do business with somone like Alison again….above and beyond everything was in working order and met our expectations

Great location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. Nice view too! If you use this property in the fall and winter, turn the heat on as soon as you arrive. It takes awhile to warm up.

My friends and I had a great time on a brief weekend getaway! The property manager was very friendly and responsive, the place was spacious, comfortable and clean, the floors have been updated since the photos in the listing, it looks even nicer now!

We wanted a quick overnight in Catalina with family to celebrate my mother and father in laws birthdays. The condo was the perfect spot for a birthday dinner together after a fun day riding around Catalina in golf carts and sitting on the beach. The location is perfect for walking to and from the beach and restaurants. Communication with the owners was great. And check in was easy. We would come back for sure. Thanks for having us!

Everything was clean, easy, the place has been remodeled with hardwoods, and the staff were exceptional with regards to communication. The location was an easy walk from the pier for all of us with luggage. My 24 year old daughter said, "I love this little place, let's come back." So we will!

This place is older and even with a lot of pretty it is not good for handicapped or children. The decor is too fragile for almost any children, It should only be rented to adults .. no kids or seniors with mobility problems. We had to take all the shells and fancy decor (nice!) and place it out of the way of a toddler so it would not be damaged. There is no wheelchair access, the steps are too much. A entrance to the garage where the elevator is accessible would help any physically handicapped individual

We had a fabulous time in Avalon! Our host was extremely kind! Even worked with us for a late checkout so we didn't have to carry luggage around the island. It is better than the pictures! 4 of us had plenty of room, beds were comfortable, A ton of pillows! Thanks again so much!

Everything was better than expected! I "last minute booked" a second VRBO when I learned that additional family planned to attend my Mothers Memorial on May 6th. Even though it was Cinco de Mayo weekend we were lucky to get this great home. 4 generations of family met in Avalon to celebrate My Mothers life, over 40 people rented multiple hotel rooms and homes. I sincerely believe that this was the best rental in terms of location and price. Thank You so much for You hospitality.

This was a great stay in a nice and remodeled condo. The wood floors look brand new and the house was very clean. The property manager was very helpful and super responsive. Very easy stay and would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Avalon very much. The place was quite big, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was close enough to everything in town. Mostly, it was nice to know that the host took whatever concerns we had (heater seemed to be malfunctioning at the time) seriously and dealt with them. The way this rental is run is extremely professional and leaves nothing to chance. Thank you for letting us stay, we hope to be back.

The advertisement for this place was somewhat incorrect. The pool and jacuzzi were empty and neededrepair. The excuse was covid. Poor excuse after a 2 year stretch! There is a picture of the balcony with a bbq on it. No bbq in site. The carpet had rugs on top of them that were tripping hazards. Their idea of a fix was to place duct tape on the corners. It was extremely hot while we were there and the only way to cool off was the very loud floor fans. Air conditioning would have been much appreciated or a working swimming pool! This place in my opinion was overpriced for what you got. We are frequent travelers and we understand that somethings just can't be fixed, but this was not one of those places. Very disappointing.

My friends and I loved our stay here. It was very clean and roomy with a beautiful view from the balcony, and was within a close walk to the beach and shopping areas. The living room and kitchen areas are nice and spacious, as are the bedrooms. The management was great, very organized and welcoming. I can’t recommend this place enough!

It was at the end of a street and everything was within walking distance. Roomy and comfortable. It looked to be newly painted. Check the TV's/remotes in bedrooms. Remote in master was missing and TV system wasn't working in other bedroom. We enjoyed our stay and grateful for a late checkout.
