About this villa rental
Probably one of the best located properties on Mallorca, this elegant villa nestles high up in the traditional old town of Pollensa, just steps away from the exclusive Calvario area, and offers breathtaking views over the town below. Finished to a very high standard and provided with a spectacular private pool, this villa is a true diamond not to be missed! The villa is within walking distance of the delightful old town of Pollensa and only a few minutes' car journey to the popular resort of Puerto Pollensa.
From the entrance gate, steps lead down to a courtyard, with a charming seating area and garden. The front door leads into the dining room, with beautifully decorated walls and large French windows opening out onto the terrace. From the dining room, an archway leads to the light and airy lounge with large windows offering lovely views over the town of Pollensa. The fully fitted, separate kitchen has a door out to a covered terrace (pergola) providing direct access to the barbecue and swimming pool area (via steps). Just off the hallway, there are a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Both of these rooms share a spacious walk in wardrobe and a full bathroom. Further down the external stone steps, leads to a twin bedroom which has a full shower room and has direct access out to the covered terrace. There is also a second lounge on this level, once again enjoying direct access to the covered terrace. This terrace is attractively furnished with comfortable patio furniture.
The inviting swimming pool, surrounded by stone-paved terraces, offers breathtaking views over the old town of Pollensa below and is equipped with sunbeds, shades, barbecue and table for al-fresco dining while admiring the views.
The tourist tax is included in the rates.
Air conditioning in some rooms from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

We felt we couldn’t stay at the property and so we moved out after one night, despite being booked in for a week

Location is excellent to walk into town, Villa very pretty, pool nice.
Downstairs bedroom was damp. Garden/pots needed attention. Photos a little misleading as kitchen and pool were both much smaller than appeared.
We did not get our midweek cleaning. The TV did not work.

The location of the house Is excellent you’re right in the town but you feel like you're very secluded. The pool is great. I would consider the house a two bedroom 1 bathroom though. The third bedroom and second bathroom are all together separate from the house on the bottom level. You cannot enter that floor without going outside and downstairs which made it impossible to put our second kid in. The house is in need of a lot of repairs the mold in the bathroom was very bad and the mattresses in the bedrooms were horrible.

Location, view from the top balcony
The house had clearly not been opened after last year’s season. It took 20min to open everything, And no welcome from the agency...It is an old house with nooks and crannies on several floors. Great if you like that type of living. However: it is in serious need of refurbishment, dishwasher did not dry, laundry machine playing up, oven and toaster blowing up fuses, bedding very old. One of the toilets was not working and the pool motor blew up causing the pool to empty the first day was a problem. Communication with the agency was impossible - once you book they never pick up the phone nor answer whatsapp. It took me calling the emergency number to get things sorted. Tony became very unresponsive. A lovely woman did come by to apologise and pool was fixed within 2 days. Perhaps the most annoying was the fact that the house was very dusty, a LOT of mosquitos and bugs that WE had to exterminate with regular use of product (the agency should have done that), very poor sticky kitchen knives and other utensils. But mostly - it felt like a youth hostel with flyers stuck on every wall in what we were not supposed to do (turn light off, use the bin, beware of ants...). We are grown ups renting a house and know how to take care of one. Why also cut the air on between 8am and 2pm and then 4pm to 8pm. Some people like to stay in and chill in the morning or have lunch inside. Please note that downstairs bedroom has no air on. I do not recommend this agency. At least we had a great view
