We had friends & family get together. It was a lot of fun because we all stayed together under the same roof for 3 nights. The place is perfect for large gatherings for bonding purposes. We bonded very closely. The place is very quiet since there are only few neighbors. We had so many indoor and outdoor activities like hiking near the bass lake and angel waterfall. Kids had a blast playing in the backyard. The place is very convenient for activities. We wanted to do boating but it was not available because of memorial long weekend. Yosemite is 45 min away.
The property was very clean and spacious. The property management was very good in providing a quick response to our questions. The property management may want to fix broken door locks in some of the bathrooms.
Overall, we loved the place and surroundings.

This place was booked in July 2022. At that time there was a big fire near Yosemite. This fire was called Oak Fire. Oak Fire was burned through more than 19000 acres and destroyed at least 42 structures. The air quality was reported "hazardous and unhealthy". It caught my attention that I needed to make sure everyone is safe while we are there. So I called the local authorities to find out more information about the fire. They told me that the air quality is bad to people especially if you have health issues. Our group has people who have health problems such as asthma and post open heart surgery. I can't afford to have people get sick while we are there. So we decided not to go. I contacted the manager to postpone the date since we had paid him in full. We informed the property manager regarding our situation. Recently (2023), as we tried to contact the owner, he won't honor the booking. His explanation is because the fire was not around his property. I am very disappointed that on his decision not letting us to use his property. Our health safety is not his concern.

The location was great, and the house is very ample for our accomodations. However, after arriving we noticed that the floors were extremely dirty and we were not able to walk around the house without shoes. Also, there was a shortage of toilet paper and by the 2nd day we needed to go out and buy toilet paper. After just 30 minutes of arriving we needed to clean up and wash down the backyard before making usage of it. Also, one of the bathroom sinks was out use. But what was overall disturbing, was having the person who manages the property (Rebecca) come to check up on us and made it a point to express how the owner Patrick is a police officer, which has nothing to do with the business aspect of his personal life.

Vrbo was terrible to deal with, but Patrick the property manager was super prompt and fixed all the date mix ups, answered questions, and did everything he promised..I would definitely go back if Patrick in charge..It was a great memory builder..Thanks!

This space has enormous potential, but needs lots of attention. Aside from the repairs that are needed (mostly cosmetic) it is very dirty. Bathroom doors that won’t close, Dust on ceiling fans, ants, spiders, beetles alive and dead, dirty glass, gross cabinets, and filthy floors. We couldn’t walk around barefoot or with just socks because the floors are so dirty. Also, there is a one cup coffee pot for a house that sleeps 30. With some work, this would be an awesome place for big groups. We stay in A LOT of vacation rentals and I have never left a bad review, but owners need to know and take action and I want future renters to be aware.

There needs to be a lot of repairs to this property. There aren’t enough cooking utensils or dish wear for the house size

Since the beginning we had trouble trying to contact the owner. House is big but it needs a lot of work... house was under construction (unfinished floors, walls, paint) we had big issues with shower handles, holes and no locks on bath doors, some rooms still dirty also a lot of dust around the house, dog poop in the yard, low stock on toilet paper for 3 days and 30 people, needs more pots and upgrade the kitchen, old coffee make, etc etc etc ( sad because I can’t upload pictures)...
We went to have a unique Xmas weekend... we stayed because we don’t had another option 😫

I was hesitant at first because there weren’t any reviews posted.
But I can now say: If you are looking for a place for a large family get together, this place is perfect.
Quiet neighborhood, spacious living space and rooms. Close to Bass Lake and Yosemite.
Some small things like the bathroom shower handle, and old furniture needed some work, but overall a very nice stay.

The house was easy to find. Check-in was smooth. There was a few issues with maintenance (dishwasher and 2nd refrigerator), but the House managers Rebecca and Frank were very helpful and attentive. The pictures on the websight need to be updated. It only shows two bedrooms, kitchen and gameroom. Does not do this house justice. It should showcase pics of the 10 bedrooms, 6 ba, and sitting room. Wild Turkeys greeted us every morning. We had a group of 23 in all age groups. We had scavenger hunts, relay games, hiked, and just enjoyed the good air quality. We enjoyed a day at Bass Lake, we were close to the Chukchansi Casino, and grocery stores. There were some normal wear and tear for a house this size and age, but overall we give it a "5". We will rent again!
