Book our Casa Playa, East and Casa Playa, West listings for the individual units. Note, there IS a connecting door between the two sides in the living room areas. Like a connecting hotel room, it can be opened if guests rent both sides.

BEACH ACCESS
Casa Playa is located on the north side of West Beach Boulevard, directly across the street from the beach and you can see the beach! You have beach access at the 12th (3 mins,
POOL? You bet!
BIG outdoor pool (shared only between the two sides). 30x18x3-5' rectangular bit of bliss!

PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 6 cars per side. More if you park under then home and stack carefully. Just share nice with the neighbors!

WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!

SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

No smoking please. No pets.

There was plenty of room with room to spare for the 14 of us. The view was nice. The house was spotless. Our host Richard was friendly and answered our questions within a few hours. Looks just like the photos and matched the description. The beds and pillows were a bit hard for my liking. But the memories we made there at Thanksgiving were priceless!

Great holiday retreat! We enjoyed our stay . It was just the right amount of bedrooms and baths. I was so pleased to see it had two refrigerator which helped tremendous. The pool was enjoyed also by the brave ones. Hopefully next time we rent it will be warm. I would recommend to anyone who's looking for a fun getaway.

Richard and his team were very responsive and accommodating to our last minute request to book. His place was clean and comfortable for our family. The linen was fresh, and there were several pots and pans in the kitchen available for cooking. The pool is intimate, and the location is central to Gulf Shore and Orange Beach. If you are traveling with elderly family members please note that there are several layers of stairs including getting inside of the house. This is expected of a house near the beach as they are built off of the ground to avoid flooding. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk 2 minutes to the beach. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much!

Your home was great! We had such a good time and your home felt like home during our stay. We had a little trouble with the A/C on the second floor but the property management company had someone out there within hours of calling. What we appreciated most was having all the silverware, plates, pots and pans that we needed. Although we did have to buy a blender to make our margaritas, as the one there was cracked and leaking. Still please don't take that as a complaint. We really enjoyed our stay. Hope to have the whole family together again soon and we will be staying here!

The home was exactly what we needed for our family. Wish it were closer to the public beach access area. The kitchen could use a pantry. When you are staying with a large family, groceries have to go somewhere and there was no space to store and organize groceries. The mattresses on the main floor and 2nd floor need replacing, but we managed. Overall, kudos to this lovely home. With these few adjustments, I recommend this vacation home to any family looking for a place at Gulf Shores.

We were a group of 22 people/ five families. We had plenty room and lots of fun. Beach access was just a few hundred feet away. Sea view from all levels. Quiet and vibrant community. We rented both sides of the house for our big group. It was nice having two kitchens & dinning areas to cook & eat at. It was really nice that every room had their own bathroom for such a large group. Everyone really enjoyed staying here. It was close to the beach, lots of room, peaceful, quite place. We were at the beach everyday even for the time of year we were down there. Thanks for having such wonderful accommodations for us to stay at.

The home was within a 3 minute walk to the beach. It is very large for families/friends wanting to stay together in the same home. The pool is not heated. It did not mention it in the listing , so I knew in advance. We went in mid-October and the pool was too cold for most us to enjoy. The kids got in it a few times. The beds were a lot harder than I prefer, but that wouldn’t stop us from staying again at the home. We had a problem with the A/C on the second level and it was fixed that day. I highly recommend you add this home to your list of possibilities!

The check-in was easy! Lots of beds! We really appreciated the extra refrigerator and washer/dryer. The kids loved the pool and the house was near the beach. Was a great place for a large group to stay. There's plenty of beds for everyone to sleep in and the private pool in the back is well maintained. It was nice that there were two fridges, and we were a close walk to the beach. Check-in and out is super easy!
