This updated home, lovingly named Pond View Cottage, offers 4 bedrooms, comfortable furnishings, a back deck, screened porch, and lagoon views. It is only a 5-minute bike ride to the nearest beach access.

Located in West Beach, this vacation home has it all! Relax in the living room on the L-shaped sofa or cozy chairs while enjoying a movie on the large flat screen TV. Access the back deck from the living room and enjoy the outdoor furniture, gas grill, and lagoon views. The dining table offers seating for six, perfect for enjoying family meals together while on vacation. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need for cooking meals and includes beautiful cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, 2 bar stools, and access to the screened porch. Cool off under the ceiling fan while enjoying the breezes from the screened porch!

The master bedroom features a king size bed, TV, and a gorgeous private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom features a king size bed, TV, and private bathroom with shower/tub combo. The third bedroom features 2 queen size beds, TV, and share a bathroom with the fourth bedroom which features 2 twin beds and a TV. This house is perfect for a family with kids or anyone wanting easy Kiawah Island beach access!

This home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

Property was nose, the outside and yard areas could have been needed to be clean-up however. Also, the outdoor grill needed to be cleaned, was not usable.

Wonderful house in west beach area. Roomy and well-equipped with plenty of bedrooms and beds for everyone to spread out and a wonderful open plan living area for everyone to gather together. The porches provide perfect seating for reading and watching the creek for alligators. Nice library of books to borrow and puzzles and games if you’re waiting for the occasional afternoon shower to pass. Very close to beach entry 10 and the bike path. We loved how easy it was to visit the beach and bike to nearby Freshfields. We do wish renters could use more of the amenities on Kiawah such as the fitness centers and boat ramps but that did not detract from our stay. We got good exercise biking and walking and we were able to dock at nearby Bohickett Marina after putting in at Cherry Point public boat ramp about 30 minutes drive from Kiawah. Take advantage of gear rental, the delivery was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at 44 Crested Flycatcher. The Property Manager was very attentive to the few issues that came up. It’s a beautiful house with a lovely view of the lagoon and we had a fantastic trip. Would definitely stay here again.

The four bedrooms were all furnished with extremely comfortable beds which goes a long way for adults enjoying vacation. Bathrooms were spotless and TVs in all rooms were a plus as well. The kitchen with connecting laundry/pantry made cooking and chores easy. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

Loved staying here for the week and it suited our group perfectly!Our only 2 minor issues were that the prior guest/cleaning service left a full smelly recycling container on screen porch and that the master guest bed seemed to have a dip or well on left side of the bed. Not a huge deal.We enjoyed a great week with family and hope to come back soon!

The house is clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Updated appliances and bathroom amenities were much appreciated. The deck over looking the pond blessed us with bird and alligator sightings. We can’t wait to return!

The beds are comfy, showers great, and stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the short bike ride to the beach and fit everything in the attached wagons. Negative: dressers needed in the bedrooms, fry pans that can be cleaned easily, ice machine. Small things really. Great location and beautifully decorated! Lots of towels available too.

This house exceeded our expectations and was incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is laid out in a way that flows really well. Being on a cul-da-sac also made us comfortable with the kids. It was an easy bike ride to the beach and the chances of us coming back is highly likely!
