Great family fun celebrating my dads birthday with 4 generations of our family.. fantastic property on our favourite place.. great views, very clean and spacious modern house… well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and games too. Would recommend it to all.

We stayed here for a week in August. 5 adults, 2 kids (7 and 12) and had a lovely time.
The location is great, 15-20min walk into Herne Bay, Whitstable and Broadstairs about 30min drive - or a lovely flat hour or so walk to Whitstable along the coast.
The views of Herne Bay are lovely to enjoy from the lounge and balconies - with beautiful sunsets. Also a good playground opposite the house.
The ground floor space is great and as described, very good size kitchen and well equipped.
The master suite upstairs is lovely and spacious, however it’s worth noting that the 3rd bedroom (the twin) is only accessed via the master suite, so minimal privacy for both rooms, and the master suite en-suite is shared between these 2 rooms.
In the 3rd bedroom other than a hanging rail, there was only a small bedside draw unit which didn’t provide space to unpack other non-hanging clothes.
Not a deal breaker however. Worth knowing as it may affect sleeping arrangements / guests. (Hence 4 starts, not 5)
Parking for 3 cars in the drive which was great.
The check in process via Vrbo was less than ideal as I had to email several times in the day leading up to and on the day of arrival to find out what to do. Having had absolutely no communication forthcoming. Check in involved setting up a different account which required ID - luckily I did this before leaving home as otherwise not sure how this could have worked as I don’t carry ID. This was disappointing and frustrating, but no reflection on the stay / house itself. This is why I gave lower scores for check-in process and communication with property manager.
Once we had the key safe code all was very simple, but getting the code was hard work!
The owners live next door and gave us some good tips on the local area. They also had gorgeous puppies which we got to meet!
Would recommend this house and would stay again.
