About this house rental
Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental features 5 bedrooms, a private pool and spa, stunning views of Bass Creek marsh, and a separate guest house. The home is about a 5-minute walk to the beach.
When you enter the home, you are welcomed by coffered ceilings, open living areas, and marsh views through the abundance of windows. An ideal place for gathering, the living room offers plenty of comfortable seating, a TV, and access to the screened porch. The dining area provides dining space for 8 with additional seating for 4 at the adjacent kitchen breakfast bar. The newly renovated kitchen boasts quartz countertops and backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and white custom cabinets.
The first of the five bedrooms is located on the main floor and has a king-sized bed, private balcony, and attached bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The second-floor master suite features a king-sized bed, a private covered porch overlooking the marsh, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and garden tub. Also on the second floor is a coastal-chic queen bedroom offering a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third floor houses a bedroom with two twin-over-twin bunk beds, a sofa, TV, and access to a private balcony. The bedroom is across from a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Along with a sitting area, kitchenette, and private balcony overlooking the pool, the guest house has a king bedroom and bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Guests will enjoy the abundance of outdoor living space. The generous pool deck includes a heated saltwater pool, spa, and grill station. In addition to the deck and three private balconies, the home also offers a screened porch.
The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.
Please note that this property has an exterior security camera that views the home's front entrance. This camera serves to protect both the property owner and rental guests.
During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.
Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!
The spa can be heated for an additional $75/per day. This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.
RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Everything was as advertised. The furnishings, beautiful. The kitchen was outfitted extremely well....it had all that we needed for home dining. Ample bath and bed linens! The quest house is adorable and our son and daughter-in-law enjoyed the privacy. A great house we want to rent again next year!!!

Nice house, good location. The digital thermostat is highly irritating and difficult to operate. The house gets very hot and it is hard to change the A/C settings. For example, our kids' room got over 85 degrees at night multiple times, and it was very hard to cool it down. Somewhat awkward floorplan, but a nice home in a great location if you plan to use the beach club.
