About this apartment rental
Hurricane Update: All amenities, including the pools and beach access, remain closed. However, there is a beach access directly next to the complex on Plaza Blvd open and we include a photo of the proximity in the listing. Like every complex in the area, there's always a possibility of some construction-related noise although no major work is currently scheduled. This noise could come from this complex or neighboring properties. The city sustained hurricane damage in 2022 and ongoing construction continues throughout the city.
Please note the Daytona Beach Resort is undergoing concrete restoration. While there is unlikely to be noise impacting your stay, there are preemptive support beams around the resort on various balconies. You will still have a great view, but there may be a beam in the view as well. Also, out of an abundance of caution, DBR management has closed the parking garage until further notice. Off-site parking is available at an alternative location within walking distance. While this is ongoing, guests are only permitted one vehicle and will only be provided one parking pass. Recreational vehicles and trailers are not permitted on-site but we can provide guests with the contact information for an off-site parking company when requested.
After a day of fun in the sun on our beautiful Daytona beaches, retreat into your private oceanfront oasis. This renovated one bedroom condo showcases beautiful, direct views of the ocean on the 4th floor private balcony. There are two comfortable queen size beds as well as a sofa that pulls out to a queen bed for extra sleeping space. Please note the sleeping area is divided by the half wall of the kitchen but there's not a door. There is a cozy dining area and easy chair perfect for enjoying the flat-screen television. The kitchenette is stocked with everything you need to cook basic meals and is equipped with a fridge/freezer, electric cook-top, and microwave. The bathroom features a shower/tub combo with plenty of counter space.
Feel the weight of the world lift off your shoulders as you enter this stunning oceanfront condo on the 4th floor of Daytona Beach Resort. The famous resort complex is home to a large convention center.
Daytona Beach Resort is also directly across from the Bellair Plaza which hosts an abundance of shopping, dining, and entertainment including Publix Super Market, Marshalls, Walgreens, Beall's and more!! This building is within walking distance to many of Daytona’s popular restaurants such as Riptides, Black Sheep Pub, Dimitri's, Bertie’s Good Eats, Bonefish Grill, Stonewood Grill, Olive Garden, Denny's and Big Tuna's Beach Bar and Grill.

We came into town for a gymnastics competition and stayed 4 nights. Directions in the front lobby on where rooms where was a little confusing but the gentleman behind the counter pointed us in the right direction. We had a great view of the beach and the place was pretty clean for the most part. We were bummed they several things were closed off, but it was listed on the listing and we knew going in. I do wish the route to the beach wasn't all the way around the building and down the alley but due to construction and things shut down that was the only way to get access. However, the beach was not crowded and had life guards posted appropriately. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend the facility and hoping to stay they're again once it has all the areas back up and running.

Sheets definitely weren’t washed. The whole place was shut down. Pool, weight room, indoor pool, breakfast facility. Hallways smelled so bad. Our floors still had sand everywhere.

We really loved staying here. Our room was beachy amd clean, nice little touches made it homey and cute. Property was under some cobstruction but we still enjoyed pur stay and would recommend. Convenient shopping avross the street and less busy than main area up the street.

The room itself was nice. Clean and comfortable. The kitchen faucet and refrigerator were cosmetically a little rough. A lot of rust and part missing from faucet - but they worked fine. The sliding glass door was extremely hard to open and shut. DBR is in need of some attention. We've stayed here many times and this was the worst. Only one elevator working and it didn't seem very clean. Public bathrooms were dirty and many toilets out of order.

We were never advised before we arrived that ALL amenities in hotel were shut down. They blamed it on hurricane but that was not the issue. Condo owners and hotel owners are in a dispute and they would not open inside pool or hot tubs, even though they were fully functional. And what about the bar and restaurant, what happened to the arcade ? We addressed it with Ocean Luxury Realty, who we booked with and the response was, well we didn't tell you they were open! Can you imagine telling a customer that.
Also the lobby restrooms did not have toilet paper for the first 6 days we were there. This is the restroom you have to use if you come up from beach. Their response when I brought it to managements attention, We don't have any. Keep in mind there is a dollar general, dollar tree, Walgreens and Publix across the street, the rule of thumb seems to put an 'Out of Order' sign on it, rather than fix it, ex washers and dryers and toilets.
Better off to book somewhere else til Ocean Luxury Realty and Daytona Beach Resort get their act together. We stayed last year and it was top-notch. This year was a big disappointment. We have booked elsewhere for next year as well as some friends we made at the resort. What they have done to this resort is a shame.

Wonderful vacation spot for kids and adults was disappointed the indoor pool was down the whole time I was there, the resort won't help with any issues as far as the back door wouldn't unlock and the batteries were dead in the TV remote even if you offer yo buy the batteries.

The view great, the room was clean except floors gritty with sand,no exhaust in bathroom, the elevators extremely slow, took stairs most of the time but the biggest problem was the parking, the garage not in use creating a huge problem parking in an adjacent side lot that has no lighting so very dark and unsafe walking to the condo and when this was filled we had to park across the street in a shopping mall lot.I’ve stayed in Daytona for vacation around 40 times and never had I had such poor parking. My wife and I will never stay at this facility as long as their parking is this way.We have stayed here 2 other times in the past 10 years and were happy with our stay then. The pool area was awesome and location.

We absolutely loved everything about this unit! Getting to watch the sunrise on the private balcony was breath taking. The unit was very clean upon arrival. Having a Publix grocery store right across the street was very convenient. We will definitely be back next year.

Our place was very nice; however, the resort itself is very dated.

Condo is in an awesome location. Plenty of space for our family. Dishes and pots and pans we nice and clean.

Rooms were fairly updated and clean. Would suggest putting a mirror somewhere in the main part of the room as the only one is in bathroom and hard to get ready all at same time.
