The fun's just begun at this home full of places to relax. Kick back on one of the oversized sofas, or enjoy the view from the front window seat. Have fun cooking meals together in a deluxe full kitchen, outfitted with special additions like a double oven and extended wet bar. The extensive backyard dining area (set around a gas grill, of course) is a perfect setup for a large family or group. Take the provided paddle boat out on the lake and feed the fish. Rejuvenate in your bubbling, private hot tub any time.
Upstairs, guests of the main bedroom suite will enjoy their own private balcony and en suite bathroom with double sinks, a standalone shower, and a soaking tub. Bedrooms are spread out across all three floors of this home, so you'll have plenty of choices. Downstairs, two bunk rooms connect to the fun shared lounge space, complete with a private pool table, full-size refrigerator, and a home theater setup. We enjoyed the grounds, cinema and other amenities. There was lots to do even without leaving the home. Could easily spend your entire trip at the house and not get bored. Some furniture needs a bit of attention but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

My family and I had an amazing time here. We plan to make this a annual event. Super spacious and plenty of fun for the kids. See you guys next year.
6.0 / 10.0
Property itself was good. But some things ( mixer, wifi in hall, refrigerator ice maker) did not work and loads of bug and centipedes in the basement room.

The property was beautiful, and my family truly enjoyed one another. Although, as someone who loves to sit and read, the lawn furniture had leaves all over it as if the lawn was cut and leaves blown around but no one blew the debris off the furniture so it did not appear to be cleaned and they were full of scary spider webs. The entryway that is around the fence line could use a sign directing families to the left to enter, due to no service connection of cell phones, family was lost with all the turns in the mountains. The home appeared to need paint in dining area. It could use updated cookware (pans) as the pans were not nonstick. Trash disposal was not covered and I do not recall being told that the grounds were shared. I believe that should be disclosed as it was quite frightening when others were discovered on the property. Lastly, there was only one pedal boat and it was dirty and did not look safe. Thank you!!

The first day was like no knew we were coming. Grill looked like it wasn’t cleaned in a year. Hot tub was very dirty. Zero hot water which makes taking a shower fun. 2 towels when we listed we had 14 adults coming. Plus there was a mouse running around in the house.

We stayed 2 nights with a large group everything was very spacious 23 of us and we had plenty of room. We did a festival in Townsend and the only thing we would complain about is not enough time at this beautiful place. Lots to explore and great outdoor space it is so magical. There are lots of steps if someone has an issue with that but our party did not. I was a little unclear about the beds so I can clarify downstairs 9 bunkbeds all twins and a double over a double. A separate room with queen and a double with a twin over it. Main floor a king upstairs 3 more bedrooms with king beds and one with couch and one with a futon. Plenty of space. We grilled out and enjoyed our weekend. We would give this place a 10/10

We loved the grounds! The children enjoyed feeding the fish and using the paddleboat. All of us relaxed in numerous seating provided all over the property.

First night was a little difficult to arrive due to snow. But the rest of the trip was amazing!

This is our second time booking the manor. We took our church youth group and they loved the house once again. I will say the first time we stayed the home was slightly cleaner but they have improved their space and even added a sand box outside with digging toys for children. All in all a great stay in a great home!

The pictures do not do this property justice! Absolutely beautiful! Kitchen very well stocked, beds were comfortable...everything about it was great...only about 15 minutes into Pidgeon Forge

Had another group staying under us. The house was in need of several repairs. Door code did not work the last two days we were there.

pros: vacasa was very clear about instructions on check in and check out, communicated well when we needed the help. all the questions i’ve asked prior our arrival were answered promptly, and the rental could easily fit 23 adults, teens, and kids in addition to 6 babies. the lake and paddle boat were a nice addition, including the huge lawns surrounding the rental. there was also fish food provided, which was of course optional but was fun for the kids to feed. the bedding was comfortable enough, and the downstairs theater and pool table were a favorite amongst all. the rental is also very secluded, so it was very quiet.
cons: the drive from the gate to the rental was extremely steep and a lot of turns, so it would’ve been nice if we had be notified about it ahead of time. inside the house, you could tell that the rental in general was in need of an upgrade and renovation. tiles were off, there were scissors and knifes missing, the ice maker didn’t work, the water pressure was extremely low, and the theater chairs were often out of batteries or just not working in general. in the main master’s bedroom, the bathroom door can’t even close. also, since it was quite rural, though there was wi-fi, the data connection was poor to no service (meaning while you can use instagram, you cannot make calls or text). there also weren’t enough bathrooms for the 6 families we had, as two bedrooms and all the bunk beds AND the public had to share one tiny bath. though this was workable, it wasn’t the most pleasant experience. lastly, make note that the caretaker’s apartment downstairs doesn’t, in fact, have the caretakers living in it but instead, another rental family. this was very annoying because we spent a long time trying to figure out who was where because the other family claimed to also have rented the same address. also, they happened to smoke, meaning our door entrance was filled will cigarette smoke— not exactly the healthiest for the littler kids.
to conclude, we would most definitely book with vacasa again, but probably not this rental if we have better options.

The property is amazing but the wifi doesn't work, the hot tub was filthy. The theater can't be used without wifi. The fire left a lot of damage that hasn't been addressed yet. Despite the issues it was still a fun place to stay with tennis court and paddle boat.

This rental was nestled into a beautiful location, with plenty of room and beautiful landscapes. We loved to explore the property, where there once stood a beautiful castle, which unfortunately burnt down recently. The home was well kept, and had very comfortable beds (even the 3-tier bunk beds were super comfortable and sturdy).
The few complaints that I have are fairly minor and we were able to overlook for the most part.
There is no bathroom on the main level (which was hard for some of our senior ladies) and there is only one on the bottom level, but you have to go through a bedroom to get to it. There is only one bathroom on the upper level that is not attached to a bedroom, which makes it hard to share with the number of people we had in our group.
We did report a water heater leak and a leak in one of the upstairs bathrooms (which was due to incorrect installation of the shower door - the lip on the bottom was facing the wrong direction, so it let all the water drip onto the floor).
The hot tub hasn't been cleaned or drained in a LONG time and was disgusting, so we weren't able to use it.
One of the biggest problems I had with this property was that there is a totally separate apartment on the lower level that is rented out separately, that is not mentioned in the description of this rental. When another family showed up, claiming that they were also supposed to be staying at this house, we were both confused. We looked all over the place until we FINALLY found another tucked away entrance to the basement. We rented our own place so that we didn't have to worry about noise or making sure we were quiet for anyone else around us. The other family was super nice and never complained, but I felt bad for them because they also didn't know that the place they were renting was attached to a separate rental and had no idea they would be staying with a bunch of loud church ladies who were on a women's retreat. :)
The location is not the easiest to find or get to, but once you are there, it's lovely. Also, follow the GPS directions, not the ones on the back of the green paper they give you at the security gate. Those directions take you around the mountain and up some VERY steep hills, whereas the GPS takes you a more direct route.

This was the perfect spot for our large group. Plenty of space to spread out. The hot tub and theater/game room were big fun!

We booked this house for a youth retreat and it was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty to do. The property is gorgeous and very secluded. The pond is full of catfish and there is even fish food and a paddle boat. I highly recommend this home for big groups with teenagers!

There was no proper Air-conditionin, washroom doors are not functioning properly, shower is not working in one of the washrooms, there was buys everywhere, water in washrooms and the water coming from all the taps smells like a drainage water and there was no electricity at night. Refrigerator is not working properly. We couldn't able to sleep, we couldn't able to take shower and cook properly.
