Our hot tub heats at about 6° per hour, which means it will reach 102° later in the evening if it has been drained and refilled earlier in the day. You may see the temperature in the 60s or 70s when you arrive, but rest assured it is heating as fast as possible and will be ready for enjoyment later in the evening.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property. We love that the location is right between old Colorado city and downtown, with plenty of things to do. The house is the perfect size with all the right amenities. Our favorite part is the hot tub! Check out was very easy with minimal cleanup. We will be staying here again!

The house was spacious, very clean and with amenities as advertised. The property manager/owner was very responsive. The location is blocks away from downtown Old Colorado City and minutes away numerous points of interest, most prominently Pike's Peak area, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Springs. It's about an hour away from Cripple Creek and Royal Gorge scenic areas. The neighborhood was a bit quirky but quiet. There is no driveway, but there is plenty of street parking in front of the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We found the “baby blue” house clean, quiet and a good central location for the different places we wanted to visit in the area. My older mother, adult son and his wife and my husband found all we needed there. Great master suite and open plan. Kaitlyn was always there with all the timely information we needed and quick with her responses.

Simply a great VRBO home! Perfect set up with a master BR/BA on the first floor and two BR, one BA on the second floor. Safe quiet neighborhood. Centrally located in Colorado Springs, esp the old town section. Very comfortable bedding. Loved the living room (esp the sofa). On street parking was easy and convenient.
Sight seeing tips - HIGHLY recommend the WWII aviation museum - extremely well done and maintained! (buy your tickets online before you go for the best price)
Also, recommend Garden of the Gods - we enjoyed the electric bike tour. This was a little on the pricey end but worth it as you will cover a huge amount of territory and not have to worry about finding a place to park if you were to drive through yourself.
Dislikes - Front Range BBQ - ribs were tough and the food generally not that good. Atmosphere was great - service only fair.
