Amazing home style holiday base own

Loved having our own space and pool

Property was great but the staff communication could improve we went to sort out our late check out twice and emailed and still the house keeping staff came at normal time as they knew nothing about it

The house is missing the microwave plate. In two rooms, the tvs we could not get them to turn on.

Please pay attention to detail

The property was well-kept on the grounds, the house itself was beautiful, but we ran into many problems with no solutions from staff

I made a list of things to give to management, but they never called or came to the desk when we went to check out. Our unit had a broken AC. Now mind you we are in Central Florida in the middle of summer and the heat index was 103 or more. We stayed at this location for three days and our air-conditioning didn’t work one day. Instead of switching our home they sent a maintenance person out, who was very nice, but never fixed our issue. The only thing they did was give us box fans in that type of heat. We had elderly people and children and other family members with illnesses that could not be in the heat for so long. Another issue we had was that my bedding was dirty, and the mattress was worn out. I will say that the cleaning staff did a horrible job at making sure the unit was clean for us on arrival. They missed the mark terribly. There are so many other things that went wrong in our home that I can’t even name here, but the worst part of it all is that clearly upper management does not care about our grievances. They never called me back. I definitely will be calling them back with my full list and will be requesting a full or at least a partial refund for our sufferings.

The customer service experience was terrible

The restaurant and water park

Right next to the highway, very loud, far from everything, staff was horrible to work with (Omer and Hernando especially).

Expected more for the cost and all the extra fees

Paying extra for a grill and utensils to have to order take out because the grill was dirty and had no utensils then when I called guest services it took more than a hour to bring the utensils so we had to order take out. Wifi does not work, 3 work orders later never worked the entire trip. Mismatched blender and lid provided led to same outcome as the grill. Took several hours to bring a correct blender top, meanwhile my frozen drinks melted. 24 hours into our trip the gate stopped working and when you call for help no-one answered. Sitting at a gate for 20 minutes waiting to sneak in behind someone else because your code does not work and guest services does not answer gate calls. The water park is only open from 11-5pm and is small, no lazy river, the cabanas are very expensive for daily rentals and the food/drinks at the waterpark are expensive. You pay 257 for a cabana by the pool, they only give you a 25 food and drink credit. A water is 6 dollars. We had 5 people, that credit was enough to buy everyone a water. I still spent hundreds additional on food and drinks. Not a good buy even on vacation. I paid extra for the pool to be heated, it was the same temp as much unheated pool when I got home. Not even sure if it was actually heated but I paid for it! The house was not ready for 45 minutes after we arrived at check in time, 4pm.

Bad

Living room roomy and good size backyard

Air conditioning not functional even after 2 formal complaints, was told supervisor would contact me but he neverdid. .pool water level too low. Fusball table with no ball to play and inside the garage. Not practical. Microwave dirty again.pool heater not functional paid for 2 nights and they refuse to refund us.internet horrible.

Good

It was very good but a lot of things are missing in the house, there were not enough things for cooking in the kitchen and not even a broom to clean if we didnt want to pay for the expensive house keeping services
