Très bien

Chambre propre avec un salon fort appréciable. De l’eau est mit à disposition. Le personnel nous a préparé notre petite déjeuner dans une lunch box à 6h car nous devions partir tôt le matin donc top !!!

The hotel is located at the end of the lane. We checked in the evening and the building is old and the staircase and lobby interior are fascinating. Very good wifi. The room is clean.

The receptionist is not aware of the vacant rooms. The first time she offered room no 406 and we went to the room but it was under renovation. Then one person went down and brought another key and took us to room 505 and it was under cleaning. Then again they moved us to room no 504, finally, it was vacant. We tried to lock the room and to go out but the key wasn't working because that key belonged to room no 505. No elevator at the hotel. We asked for towels because it wasn't supplied before we went to the room. The view of the room window is under construction building next to this hotel. All rooms had Very old windows and doors. Due to that sounds from the lobby can be heard clearly in our room. cracked glass noticed in the window. Breakfast is very simple compared to other hotels which I have stayed in Nepal.

Good hotel in nice location.

Great location! Walkable to tourist area of Kathmandu, for easy access to food, shops, and travel agencies to organize treks, buses, etc. But it is in sort of a back alley so there isn’t nearly as much noise, which is nice. Room was spacious, bed good. Comfy chairs in the room were nice to have. Wifi worked fine. Hot water was good. Breakfast was simple and nice, it was lovely that they would bring it to your room if you asked.

Construction going on next door meant there was a bit of noise, but only during the day so not really an issue. No sunlight came through our window as it was right next to a narrow alley, but that entirely depends on which room you have.

Close to Thamel nightlife, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.

The hotel staff are nice and were attentive to my needs. The location is surrounded by taller buildings - while this may block any views, it also blocks sound; which is worth the tradeoff for anyone who favors peace and quiet. Overall, the close proximity to good restaurants and Thamel's nightlife is excellent. I also appreciated that the room offers heat in addition to AC which is great for those chilly nights.

The bed is ultra, ultra, firm and difficult to sleep unless you're accustomed to sleeping on what appears to be a very firm futon. Hot water was hit or miss - I was advised to turn on both the sink and shower and let it run for a few minutes; and, while the water got warm, it never got hot. Additionally, the electricity went out twice during my 3 night stay. Not sure what the issue was given that all the other buildings in the area had electricity. With that said, the building staff did get the electricity up and running quickly after brief outages.

Anybody looking for a budget room can stay at hotel Sree Tara!

The room was decent. Very clean. Got all the amenities required. Staff were good and well behaved. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The accommodation is in Thamel and everything is within walking distance. The accommodation was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

For late risers, it would not be bad if there was breakfast until 10am (breakfast from 7-9am). Also, the internet was sometimes not very reliable. But apart from that we liked everything and would like to come back.

Good

The room is worth the money you pay. It is very clean and smells good too, which is a huge plus for me. The staff are very friendly and service is satisfactory. It is situated in a peaceful location too.

I had to wait for quite a while to check in as the staff had gone to eat dinner. I was disappointed to wait for so long as it was already late at night. The room I stayed in didn't have the remote for the AC working.
