No Breakfast available.
It didn't really bother us but the step between living area and bedroom could be a problem if you had small children, were unsteady on your feet, or very elderly.

The nature surrounding the property was relaxing and it is so close and convenient to reach UF! The host had all the necessities that one could need for a few days stay.

Did not expect for there to be someone upstairs. Not a big deal but it was just unexpected

The entire home was beautifully decorated. The host had thought of everything you could want or need The apartment was spotless. We loved the rain shower, coffee, big-screen TVs, and comfortable beds!
We were there visiting our grandson in college. The location was perfect for us.
There's a tall Privacy fence and a gated front yard, perfect for your fur babies too!
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Incredible attention to detail from the host. Very nice decor and everything you could need was there and then some!

Great location, easy access, great yard, lots of thoughtful touches, comfortable and homey feeling, lots of technology, good lighting, lots of essentials and complimentary items.
Some areas of opportunity: lots of dust bunnies under the furniture/bedding, no hangers in wardrobe to hang clothing, only one luggage stand, only one washcloth for 3 people for three days.

The name is completely appropriate. Walking in felt like being home, it was exactly cozy! It felt secluded while being all of 5 minutes to our son's campus adjacent apartment. The dining options near downtown were all right around the corner. We traveled with our 2yr old beagle, and she's finicky about going to the bathroom while on a leash. We have a large fenced in yard at home. Cozy Hideaway also has a fully fenced in yard that is tremendous! We were able to let her out stress free and just go out and grab her business with baggies after. Spent some time Saturday watching college football on the big wall mounted TV in the den. The couches are really comfy, took a short nap on one mid-game. There's another TV in the bedroom that we didn't get around to using. While we packed properly for our trip, there was an accidental soda spill at a restaurant and we used the washer/dryer to clean my wife's sticky outfit. Everything you could need was there, tide pods right on top of the machine. I work remote developing software, and was easily able to conduct video calls and any other tasks on their wifi without issue. I've stayed in these kinds of private operated residences all over the place through the US and Canada. They almost always seem a little worse for wear than the photos convey. Not the case here! This is, without hyperbole, the nicest privately owned accommodation I have ever had the good fortune to find! It will always be my number one go-to location for trips to Gainesville, from here on out. My only hesitation on writing this glowing review (which still falls short of mentioning all the wonderful attention to detail they've put into this place) is that I don't want extra competition booking it before I do when I want to come to town :)
