This accommodation was near Glastonbury
I felt the exterior was dirty. There were spider webs and the building itself looked old.

Jaya was wonderful. She is very kind and caring. She greeted me when I arrived and showed me to my room.

So relaxed Angelina was beautiful
No acces to garden but didn't matter too much

I liked the location and only 10 minutes away to town or the Tor
Too noisy for me. Quite a creaky house and the rooms are quite close knit together and could hear slamming doors .....if someone is up at 7am...your up. And I wore earplugs. Went to the pub in evening as the noise was getting on my nerves
4.3
The room was fairly comfortable and in a quiet area. The property was within walking distance to the town and amenities.
The accommodation in general was clean but basic in some repects. The three rooms all shared a bathroom which was in almost constant use by one couple while I was there. Breakfast is adequate which you had to prepare yourself as you would do in a hostel with staples such as bread, milk, butter, eggs etc in a small kitchen. I booked the room as there was no alternative but probably not return if I had a choice.
4.3
Comfortable beds, friendly host, nice breakfast room
Difficult to locate, identity of property not obvious, meditation room not in a quiet place, no apparent access to garden but looked nothing like the pictures. Breakfast somewhat misleading in on line description. No fire escape instructions.
One of the curtains was hanging off the rail. Small hole in the floor at end of bed and the bed bases are so creaky they need replacing.
Tea bags in room were left in a tea bag box without a lid, no milk or sugar in the room as such
Fluffy mat around base of toilet - not hygienic . Similarly bath slip mat as this was a shared bathroom, shower screen could have been cleaner.

Breakfast was very good

good location, nice quiet house, 2 large bathrooms.
Horrible, synthetic linen. Very basic and boring breakfast (no fruit or veg at all)

the location was perfect to walk to all the amazing places In Glastonbury. The was house was comfortable and the meditation room was amazing.
staff Sam and Jia was brilliant, very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
sharing the bathroom as I need the loo a lot during night was worried I was disturbing others.
decor and quilt covers etc bit dated and could do with updating.
4.3
very clean with a lovely healing vibration. lovely staff and a fantastic view of the Tor. Would love to return and would definitely recommend.

The whole house is let and you get a separate room in it with a shared bathroom. There is another shower downstairs. There is a beautiful meditation room with lots of amazing crystals there which you can use. There was a nice little dining room and you help yourself to breakfast. The host was very nice and left a note for me on the door and I let myself in as she was giving someone a massage. She also does other treatments I think. It's only a 15 minutes walk from the Tor, which you can see from nearby, so I got up early and went up there for sunrise. It's a quiet modern close. Walk into town - I didn't discover the footpath to town if there was one and it is easier to go by car. Probably 15-20 mins walk if you go around the edge of the town which I did. My bedroom looked over the medium sized garden and trees beyond which has no end of gnomes and fairies in it! I like the fact it is a "spiritual house' and no shoes are allowed inside and it's veggie only. The other guests were two fairies, going to the Fairies ball, and a psychic, which seemed fitting in Glasto!
The furniture was a little sparse not much in the way of tea making facilities in the room. Having said that there was a kitchen downstairs which had a good supply of tea etc. The actual owner was away in Europe and there is a lady who hosts and lives downstairs in an annex it seems.
4.3
The spiritual room is amazing and filled with plenty of crystals to meditate with.
Great that breakfast is provided
Needing to be very quiet in the house and tiptoe around at 6am when waking for an early start

I felt very much at home here, very cosy house with great vibes. Sam was very welcoming and available to help. Breakfast was very good.
In terms of value for money, it is a bit pricey. But it was also the most affordable place to stay in Glastonbury, so it says something about the mystical market of the town and how expensive everything is there!
4.3
Lovely atmosphere. Very calming. Sam was amazing.
Nothing really.

the host Sam.

A very comfortable room. I especially liked the fact that there was a good kitchen available for use to save me having to eat out. Although I didn’t get to meet the hosts, they were very helpful online to get me settled in.
4.3
The bed was so comfy!
Cooking breakfast(although I knew this becoming visited, but was so tired after my visit to Glastonbury that I wished it was cooked for me).

Camelot Retreat is not a B&B, but a home. We loved our stay - everything from breakfast (with vegan options) to the freely available meditation room.
You meet great people, broaden your horizons - and are only 15 mins away from the very center of Glastonbury.

If you go to Glastonbury it's for a reason. Everything within the home was great, very clean, and filled my needs. What was exceptional was the housekeeper Sam. She was there for all the guests with a kind word and smile. Very friendly and very helpful. Beautiful Soul. I travelled on my own and was made to feel welcome and safe. The meditation room had so much beautiful energy I could have stayed in it forever. I didn't want to leave. And I met beautiful people with like minds.
There was nothing I didn't like.
4.3
clean, lovely view of Tor, helpful and friendly
it was a safe energised space. had a great time

A quiet and nice little retreat. Peaceful and homey. You feel very welcomed and comfy. Nice beds. Everything is like it is presented on Booking.com. The retreat is located outside of the city centre among ordinary houses with regular villagers.
When fully booked it gets a bit crowded. There are only two toilets and showers for 7 people, and it is also a bit crowded around the breakfast table in the morning. It is a bit a long way to walk into town, especially the first bit uphills.

A really beautiful sanctuary, the house had a lovely energy and I am excited to return very soon. The house was a warm environment, very cosy and I met some wonderful likeminded people.
absolutely nothing!
4.3
friendly welcome, nice position to head up to the Tor at sunrise. liked the fact that you could access kitchen to cook your own food
bed was a little soft

A very nice place to stay. The meditation room was so good and calm. Sam was very helpful and very welcoming. In my stay there I met some very nice and very friendly people. The house is a walking distance from the sity centre and from the Tor. We used the kitchen and the meditation room a lot in our stay there.

Not impressed with the breakfast: no fruit, no butter only spreads, yogurt was coconut which is a very limited choice and the choice of cheeses was very processed.
I was not happy with sharing a bathroom with 6 people upstairs. I thought this was a very poor show and unhygienic. There were no cleaning products to wipe down the sink or toilet. I thought the shared bathroom would have been with only one other room. There were too many people in a relatively small house and it was noisy at night with people using the bathroom. There were only four bedrooms and six people upstairs and one person in our group was forced to sleep in a conservatory!! It was cold and noisy for her! I think this lack of toilet and washing facilities should have been mentioned more honestly.
4.3
It was a very pleasant stay in a home with a beautiful energy.

Wonderful stay, thank you Sam for being a fantastic host and thank you Evelyn for sharing your wisdom. Rested and refreshed after my lovely stay at Camelot Retreat.
4.3
Maybe you could offer a continental breakfast. As my daughter and myself are not great lovers of cereal.
Just an idea xx

Lovely meditation room. Use of kitchen was a plus
Firmer mattress in the Egyptian room
